"This is their barrier restoring gel cream, it's also $54. This one is geared toward oily skin types or acne prone skin types. This one also contains an updated lipid barrier complex and then also contains several peptides, green tea, squalane, folic acid, no fragrance."
"It's not the most exciting ingredient list but it is a barrier-repairing moisturizer with a lot of barrier-repairing ingredients and ceramides and skin-identical ingredients. Sometimes for sensitive skin, simple is better. It provides hydration without leaving skin looking or feeling greasy, and once it soaks in it looks natural, great finish, and works nice under sunscreen. It delivers on the promises of replenishing your skin barrier for dewy plump hydrated healthy-looking skin."
"This one's got snail mucin extract in there, which is great for soothing skin and calming it down. And I found I think snail mucin is really nice for hydrating as well as anti-aging. It's got hyaluronic acid in it. It's got centella and vitamin E, no fragrance, no scent. Really wonderful texture, sets to a really nice finish."

"The Glow Recipe Blueberry Bounce Cleanser was another one I heard a lot about with mold in it and people took photos of it and then emailed them and got another one returned."
"For beneficial ingredients it's got ceramides, vitamin E, acetyl glucosamine, mushroom extract, and chamomile, but a lot of those can be found in the Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream for about a quarter of the price, without all the fragrance ingredients. [...] This one was a clear loss for me. I tested it out a couple times and [...] I wasn't impressed with it, I didn't like the fragrance in it."
"The winner for most disappointed product, and they're a winner yet a loser at the same time, kind of ironic, is the Tatcha Silk Serum. You know what, at least the other products would set you back a hundred bucks."
"The CeraVe cleansing balm for $14 was disappointing. I found it was too thick, it took a lot of effort to smooth it into skin to get it to really work, and when it rinsed off it left [...] a kind of residue so I didn't love it. The jar is super tiny for what you'd think it would be for CeraVe, typically they're a little more affordable. [...] I didn't love how it took a long time and a lot of effort to break down and melt on skin."
