What the gurus are saying

Gurus praise Like Butter for its versatility and hydrating, calming formula packed with effective ingredients like ceramides and Centella asiatica, particularly for sensitive or dry skin. A consistent strength is that a little goes a long way and it works across multiple application methods. One reviewer noted the formula was compromised by a fragrance addition, but the consensus remains positive. The main caveat is that the rich texture works better as a nighttime product than daytime use.

Best Healing, Nourishing, Repairing & Soothing Skincare Products for Irritated, Damaged, or Dry Skin
"Topicals Like Butter is pretty versatile, it's meant to be a moisturizer but you can use it as a sleeping mask or rinse off mask or moisturizer. It's really got some good ingredients in here and it's pretty affordable. It's sold at Sephora. It's got H squalane, shea butter, green tea, turmeric, ceramides, and then several amino acids that are nicely hydrating. I typically use this one either as a sleeping mask or as a rinse off mask. As a sleeping mask or anything like that it's really nice, so it's worth checking out."

"Topicals Like Butter is a really nice multi-functional product you can use as a mask, a moisturizer, a sleeping cream, last step product. Very nice hydrating, calming, very nice on skin."
Best Thick Moisturizers & Night Time Sleeping Masks - Favorite Overnight Facial Creams
"It's got green tea, metal case aside, turmeric, rhubarb, ginseng. I use it in a variety of different ways so some nights I'll use it as a leave-on mask at the end of my routine I'll apply this and rinse it off the next morning. Sometimes I will apply it like a moisturizer when my skin's feeling dry or super sensitive. And sometimes I apply it like a traditional mask and then rinse it off in the shower after it sits on my skin for 20 or 30 minutes. Or sometimes you can just use it as a mask and then blot it off. This stuff is really lovely. It does get very hydrating so I don't necessarily find it's great during the daytime per se, but in the nighttime it has so many great benefits for your skin and it's really lovely. And a little bit of it goes a very very long way."

Top 50 Best Skincare Products of 2023 💖✔ Part Two - My Favorite Skincare Products of the Year!
"I really like Topicals Like Butter. They're faded until they changed the formula and added fragrance to it. I really loved it before then but I didn't love it otherwise. If they hadn't changed it, probably would still be on this list. But that being said, Topicals Like Butter is wonderful. You can use it as a moisturizer, a rinse off mask, or a sleeping mask. It's got green tea, metal casside, turmeric, rhubarb, ginseng. It's amazing. It's pretty affordable and I love the fact that it's got multiple uses, so it makes it a winner instantly because I like things that you can use for different purposes or different ways."

"It's an amazing rich moisturizer that helps to treat eczema and severely dry skin using a combination of really well-researched ingredients for eczema like colloidal oatmeal and ceramides, but it also has great natural extracts like ginseng extract, green tea, sea butter, and Centella asiatica, one of the best ingredients for reducing redness and helping to heal the skin. The formula and experience of this product are really, really impressive. The only downside is that it is on the pricier side."
