"They've patented this moisturizing sugar tech and it really really works. I've used a lot of creams. At first it feels standard, but the hydration really does last. This has become just my daily go-to moisturizer because I know I can rely on it. It's like a soft water rich cream. Very spreadable. Quickly absorbs. Leaves your skin feeling very plump without the stickiness. A bit of a dewy sheen but more natural. Your skin just feels hydrated from the inside out, not just coated in product. We have [squalane] in here, peptides, betaine, hyaluronic acid, more barrier loving ingredients too. It's just so lightweight, but somehow quite exclusive at the same time, like enough to lock in moisture and all that hydration and the eight types of hyaluronic acid. I bought two more from Olive Young because I love it so much."

[...] For so long, this brand's let everyone say they're fragrance free, this product is fragrance free and great for sensitive skin. Meanwhile, they've snuck in four ingredients that they are now disclosing are in this product: geranium oil, citronellal, geraniol, and linalol. None of those ingredients have any benefit to skin. There are certain ingredients that can have a scent that are actually good for your skin, [...] but geraniol, linalol, geranium oil, they are not benefits for skin whatsoever."

There are seven different fragrant components within that and it is fragrance overload. So if you're someone with very sensitive skin, you're sensitive to fragrance, this is a firm pass. For everyone else, it's nice, it's gimmicky, it's got some nice hydrators in it, I just don't think it's that amazing if I'm honest. So yeah, that for me is a bit of a pass. I think if you want to try it, something a bit gimmicky, go for it, but just be aware the fragrance lingers. It does plump up the skin and does make the skin feel really nice afterwards, I just think that fragrance is too much."

"The Purito Deep Sea Water Cream is a very very similar formula. In fact, ingredients match except of course the Tatcha had complex hair which is something that goes into all of their products obviously missing hair because that is something that's unique to the brand but when you're looking at the main product, main ingredients that go into the moisturizer very similar and very similar in feel like how it feels on your skin. The Purito Deep Sea one is a really really good dupe."

"One of my favorite moisturizers for people who have oily sensitive skin or skin that is like very reactive needs to be soothed is the Purito Deep Sea Pure Water Cream. When it comes to skincare products that have oats in them or oat-based ingredients tend to be quite soothing. Oats have an anti-inflammatory property so I love that about this particular gel. It also has panthenol which is incredibly soothing for the skin. I envision the person who uses this and loves this is someone who is oily has sensitive skin doesn't like to feel a lot of products sitting on their skin. If I think about my acne prone patients who have oily skin I think they would love something like this especially if they're using like prescription acne medications and their skin's being a bit reactive. This will calm their skin and also play nice with the oily skin tendencies that they have. The texture on this is so beautifully lightweight. If you live in a more humid climate or you're traveling somewhere more humid this is lovely. It's also 3.38 oz so travel friendly."

"The moisturizer I'm going to go in with today is the Purito Deep Sea Pure Water Cream, what an appropriate name. This is like a good sized moisturizer, you get a lot of product in here. It's thick and creamy but I find not too heavy so I can wear it during the day but absolutely could use this as a nighttime moisturizer as well. I feel like it straddles the daytime and nighttime moisturizer thickness quite well and rubs in beautifully. I like this particular moisturizer so much because of the valuable skincare ingredients that it has that support the skin barrier. It contains some calming plant oils, it also has allantoin and squalene and cholesterol, and then the main selling point of this moisturizer is the variety of ceramides that it contains. Ceramides are a key component of that lipid protein matrix that helps seal your barrier, so when your skin barrier is depleted or not functioning in an ideal way using products that have ceramides in them can help repair that barrier and bring it back to its original function."

"This is Purito Deep Sea Pure Water Cream with 71% oat. I love moisturizers that just melt into your skin and that are silky and that you feel like your skin's thirst gets quenched by it. It's a beautiful moisturizer that gets sucked up by your skin, your skin literally drinks it up. It has a lot of oat seed water, oak kernel oil, oat kernel flour, oat kernel extract, which is an extremely soothing and calming ingredient, especially for those of you with inflamed skin barriers or eczema. "Purito came back in with their Derma Relief Barrier Moisturizer, and I really love it. First, I love the componentry—it has a chunky pump, which is especially great because it's a basic moisturizer, so you're not expecting that many actives that can be very expensive, and therefore you can get a lot more bang for your buck. It's 3.38 ounces, so it's safe for traveling with TSA. I like it because it's very rich and also glycerin-based, but it has five types of ceramides. Ceramides make up fifty percent of the fatty lipid layer of your skin that's going to hold on to moisture. As a moisturizer, it feels very nice, it gets absorbed, and it really just sinks in. I also really like it on my feet, and I think it has helped my feet a lot throughout the winter months. It's a beautiful, really rich moisturizer that helps to relieve your broken skin barrier."

"Purito has this one which is their Dermid Sikka Barrier sleeping pack and this one has Centella in it, it helps to lock in moisture, it has ceramides, it has HA but it also has panthenol which I had to do an actual deep dive on their box to just double check. But they're never gonna sit down and publicize it because HA like we said has a higher search engine optimization than panthenol ever will, but this also has panthenol. So if you're looking for one for your hands I probably would use this more on my body and my hands and my face but it's a nice one, it has very light scent."

"This is a fragrance-free rich moisturizer with ceramides, which are lipids good for the skin. They're naturally in your skin, but applying them in your moisturizer may help your skin barrier get back on track a little more efficiently. It also has [panthenol], a B vitamin that's very moisturizing. And it has ectoin, which is an extremolite that helps certain little critters survive in extreme environmental conditions like high salt waters or very freezing cold temperatures. It's an antioxidant and it creates these little hydration shells around things, ultimately helping to retain moisture ideally in the skin much better. It's a trendy ingredient right now, but a trendy ingredient that actually has some data behind it."

"I love this. I also love the cream version of this, the thicker cream, the hydration plus. I consider it to be a dupe of La Mer because it has these algae extracts that are super hydrating. And it's the algae extracts that are La Mer's claim to fame and the texture to me is very similar. [...] This is a really good moisturizer if you have oily skin and you want something rich but not heavy. It's very lightweight but deeply hydrating. It has hydrolyzed collagen which just helps with water retention. No niacinamide you guys that are sensitive to niacinamide and cannot escape it. I was very happy with this. I ended up using it a lot on the face, neck, and also arms and legs."

"This looks like it's going to be a good facial moisturizer. It has hydrating marine extract, laminaria is very hydrating. You apply a small amount of cream on face with fingertips and let the cream absorb."

And then I tried using it on the body and I was like, wow, can we get this in a large pump bottle or a large jar? Because it ended up being a really good body moisturizer for me. I would have the hardest time keeping this away from my upper lip, I would put petroleum jelly there as I always do to serve as a barrier, but inevitably some of this would end up making its way right to the Cupid's bow and giving me the worst little patch of irritation. [Panthenol] is very moisturizing and centella asiatica is anti-inflammatory and soothing and supports healing."

"The Purito Deep Sea Pure Water Cream retails about $12. Purito's all of their moisturizers are generally in this price range, they're very affordable. If you're somebody who doesn't want a heavier type of cream for your final layer in skincare, think about panthenol because this is an ingredient that does strengthen your barrier, it does help fight dehydration, but it's very hydrating. It just doesn't have that emollient type of feel on the skin. They have married the panthenol with a little bit of squalane and that just brings that tiny bit of moisture. It's not truly an occlusive ingredient but it does have a little bit of a hug it in type of quality that really complements this moisturizer. So you get deep hydration, you get plumpness on your skin, this beautiful refreshing gel texture, and that little bit of squalane just helps keep everything in place. For oily skin this is going to be a nice one to look at, especially if you like more thicker gel type textures for your moisturizer that's not a thin layer on the skin. This is more plumping and a little bit thicker. Combination skin especially is going to like this."

"This is actually one of the very first Purito ferment focus products I ever tried quite a few years ago now. It's gone through a little bit of a reformulation [...] with the ingredients and [...] new packaging since I've tried it, but quite honestly this new formulation really reminds me quite a bit of the older version. "This was literally the first K Beauty essence that I ever tried. I have repurchased this by me probably six or seven times. I love this and I use it on my face but I can also put it on my chest, my back, my body because it's so inexpensive. This is basically like a little grape jelly on your face. See how thick it is? It doesn't feel overly suffocating on the face; it feels so beautiful and gelatinous on the skin. It's like a thick toner and it is absolutely gorgeous. The ingredients in here are fragrance free and so simple. The first ingredient is aspergillus membranaceous root extract—it is fermented and beautiful. But this also has arginine in it, which is an amino acid and it is phenomenal. There have been medical studies looking at arginine and it's been shown to increase VEGF, basal endothelial growth factor, basically helping your skin create new and healthy blood cells which bring nutrients to the rest of your skin. This is such a beautiful essence. It is so lightweight and nice on the skin. You get 200 milliliters so you get a large amount, and you can literally find this on StyleVana for under 16 dollars."

It's like if you ever just wrap yourself in the blankets on a cold winter morning and you just feel so cuddled and so loved, maybe you have a cat on your lap or a dog on your feet or who knows, maybe you have a ferret, that is what this feels like on your skin. "This has two percent niacinamide, our vitamin B3, and it also has panthenol, our vitamin B5. This also has hyaluronic acid and it's made for deep hydration. I would recommend this definitely for someone who has dry skin. If you have oily skin like me, I do love this, I just use it at night. I find that my skin can use thicker things at night. I really appreciate this. I've tried it under sunscreens. I did like it under sunscreen for a little while, but with this heat that we're currently in it's just too much. If you wanted to layer these two together, oh that would be so good, but this is amazing for skin support and for barrier support. I know Purito has had some issues with manufacturing. They used to have this in a non-essential oil free formula so it had essential oils and then they listened to their customers and they took them out, so this is essential oil free. I love this, and if you are looking for a good moisturizer, if you have damaged your skin barrier, you want vitamin support with vitamin B3 and niacinamide."
