"It's a water-based serum, unlike the emulsions that I've talked about earlier. So, if you like that really lightweight water-based serum, this could be a great option for you. It's just a really nice affordable azelaic acid derivative. And I think that for me, it's nice to have in the market so that people really have choice."

"If you're someone that has sensitive skin and the idea of incorporating anything new kind of terrifies you and you think I just want the most gentle option available, you can absolutely go for the Geek & Gorgeous A Pad. This is actually an azelaic acid derivative. So it's going to take longer to work, but if you're looking for something that's super gentle, derivative form is a really great option. And my personal favorite is the Geek & Gorgeous A Pad. It'll calm, it'll soothe, and it'll help restore equilibrium in the skin in the long term. "This is the Geek and Gorgeous A Pad, this is an azelaic acid derivative, meaning it's super gentle for people that are still a little skeptical about the idea of using azelaic acid with your retinoid. If you're still a little skeptical, go for this because it's a derivative, it's even more gentle than azelaic acid in its pure form as is in the Theramid serum I just referenced. And so this is a super gentle beginner option or for people that are still a little bit dubious about using azelaic acid and retinoids together. "I could have put any of the Geek & Gorgeous products in this top five list because they are all amazing, however the reason I chose this in particular is because I feel like it's kind of been vindicated this year. Last year I was fan-girling about this saying what an amazing azelaic acid it was and lots of people came back and said it's an azelaic acid derivative, useless, won't work, what's the point.
