"The marketing says the centella calms your skin down and the green color makes it feel refreshing, but when I checked the ingredients, the centella is only about five drops, and they just changed the color to green. It's just too much marketing, and this is exactly the kind of brand that does a lot of marketing, not only in Korea but globally too."

This is a centella serum, so if you do well with centella and have sensitive, oily or combo skin that hates stickiness, you can try it out. "This Purito serum is a lot more popular on TikTok globally than it is in Korea. It's okay, especially for oily skin, it has centella which definitely has a soothing effect, so if you have oily skin with minor breakouts and you're really sensitive, try this one. The texture is really light, like a light gel, but for my dry skin it just feels too light, so I just use it like a toner. Whenever my skin gets a little red, this one definitely cools it down."

"Another great budget Centella serum that I really like is from Purito, the Wonder Relief Centella Serum, unscented. This comes in $16 to $18 for 60 ml of product. This has a gorgeous plumping gel consistency to it. So it's actually a little bit thicker than other options, so if you want a little bit more plumping, hydration factor to it with your Centella content, this one delivers. What I like about this product is they're using Centella extract plus the four biologically active compounds of Centella. Those biologically active compounds really do produce more of Centella's soothing benefits, anti-inflammatory benefits, collagen stimulating benefits. It's just going to produce more bigger, better, faster Centella results on your skin. This also contains some well-aging collagen stimulating peptides. You know, position this formula to be a little bit better for well-aging concerns rather than just like acne prone or soothing concerns. So, little bit more souped up Centella serum here with a more plumping hydrating texture. I still would recommend this for all skin types."

"This is the Purito Wonder Relief Centella Serum, the unscented version. This does contain centella in it, which is great for reducing inflammation. I do have some pimples that can be a little bit red and a little bit inflamed, but centella is very soothing to the skin, it's very gentle. It's a great antioxidant. You can see this is a really beautiful hydrating gel texture, so it feels really great in the morning time and does help to contribute to my skincare goals without overwhelming my skin with aggressive actives."

"It's a very thin lightweight good for hot weather serum but it's just not giving me maximum hydration like this one did. This is good, it's solid, it performs, it's a nice centella serum but when we're talking about having tried this one, it's not 100% stacking up. I will use this bottle up, I will continue to use it, there's nothing wrong with it, but when we're talking about upgrade downgrade, when it comes to formula changes of something so popular it does feel like a downgrade. I don't feel like this is doing anything new. They said they doubled the centella and I don't disbelieve that, the results are definitely showing on my skin but it's not really like they have done something really different here. It's not like they've added some new and compelling peptides, it's not like they have added some different active ingredient in addition to the centella or something. It's the same kind of point of view but they've taken away some of that hydration so in that sense it's a downgrade. If you've never tried the centella serum and you just went for this I think you'd be happy. I don't think it would blow you away. I think it would be like yeah it was good I don't regret buying it I may not buy it again though."

"I can't stop using the serum. I literally can't - I actually tried to stop and switch to other things and it just wasn't working. This just fits. It's so easy to use. The texture just works - I don't have to think about whether I want to use a creamy toner with this because it's not going to ruin anything or make things feel funny or sticky. Especially in the humidity during high summer time, the texture is just good and absorbs really fast. They've upped the centella content in here and I think that actually shows in the results. It really does reduce redness and helps in a gentle way to encourage healing of inflamed pimples. It's just a really nice morning serum. I keep using it over and over, especially in the morning - it's easy, I don't have to think about it. Sometimes easy is half the battle. The results are really nice too. It's a really big serum bottle and I've been using this so much I'm not even halfway through."

There's nothing wrong with the product itself, but when you don't trust their sunscreen, do you trust that this has all the ingredients in it that it claims it does? They could easily be lying about that too."

"I'm happy for this change with the Purito Wonder Relief Centella Unscented Serum. They upgraded the formula and are now disclosing it contains 3.48% centella asiatica extract, more than double what was in the old serum, and I think it's nice to see a brand finally being transparent like this even though it means dealing with some criticism. That said, focusing on the centella asiatica extract percentage doesn't actually tell me as much as when brands disclose the specific active constituents like madecassoside and asiatic acid, which is the information I really care about."

"This really is a serum I would recommend to anybody with sensitive, actively sensitive skin, easily sensitized skin. As I said, inflamed, rosacea prone skin especially. It has this kind of instant coolness to it which is going to calm down any irritation, itchiness, redness, specifically that unscented version. It's all about restoring balance to your skin. And I love that it's a ceramide focused product without it just being a thick heavy cream. You have your four active compounds of centella which is mad [madecassoside], aiaticide, aiatic acid and madiccastic acid. Every part of the plant but they're very very powerful together. Anti-inflammatories that help redness, help repair skin damage and encourage healing as well, making it really really good actually for acneic skin. Things like post laser, if you get laser done, post treatment, or just like everyday stress of your skin. And you have niacinamide which people don't really see as a barrier repairing ingredient but it really is and helps brighten as well. Panthenol for hydration, ceramides to reinforce the skin barrier and promote long-term strength for your skin as well. It's honestly one of the most well-rounded formulas in my collection."
