Murad's retinol youth renewal eye serum is eighty nine dollars for a half ounce, and that one is retinol, not retinaldehyde, retinol requires two conversions to get into its active form while retinaldehyde only requires one. So Beauty of Joseon having this eye serum available for seventeen dollars is mind blowing, I'm so excited."

"This is NIOD's copper amino isolate serum, and I didn't feel like it did that much for me. I really like peptide ingredients and copper peptide is supposed to be an incredible one, but when I looked into the data there isn't much research on copper peptides. My biggest issue though is how runny it is, it's incredibly unpleasant to use, nearly unusable, and it's still not inexpensive. So that's a no for me."
"I do not like this. My single biggest problem with this lip balm is that I cannot get past the flavor. The texture is more of an emollient, not a super occlusive lip balm, almost more like a lip oil. It has no scent and no flavor, which sounded like a good idea in theory, but I forgot that I taste my lip balms from time to time, and since it contains ingredients that may be beneficial to your lips that don't taste great, without anything in the formula to offset that flavor, it is rough. I've tried to wear this a couple of times now and I can't, I'm too sensitive to bad flavors I guess. I don't think it's just a bad product, some people may not react to flavor the way I do, but if you like flavor and don't like bad tastes in your lip balms, you might not love this one either."
"This just did not work for my skin type. I felt like I was getting an increase in redness when I used this product, though it's possible that came from the fragrance or the vitamin B12 ingredient rather than the PDRN itself, since this is a higher concentration than I'd knowingly tried up until this point. So for me this is a no, I'm sure it will work for some amount of people, but it was sadly a no-go for me."
"I do have a fail, the CoverGirl Simply Ageless Skin Perfector Essence, I wanted this so badly because I fell in love with a similar product, this is supposedly a dupe for the Chanel Le Teint foundation skin tint and it's the same price. The idea is there, the beads are there, but it's just not breaking up properly, my struggle was getting this to apply evenly because the beads don't break up properly and you end up with a patchy application. Also be careful with this if you have dehydrated skin, my skin was a little dehydrated the other day and the essence part of this immediately soaked into my skin, which made it even worse, so that left the beads on the surface of my skin. What an absolute mess, I washed it right off."
