I want to mention this because occasionally people get confused there are several products in this lineup. The essence is great, the serum is great, both those don't have a scent to them. However, if you get the toner or I believe there's also a Mist, those two have fragrance in it and the toner has peppermint oil in it. So sometimes people are confused when I talk about this product and mention that it has no scent and that's fragrance. Feel like no, it has peppermint oil in it. I swear there's two things: the essence and the toner. That's why I've never recommended the toner nor have I ever purchased the toner, but got the essence and I love it."

So I really do love it. In here we've got the bifida ferment, we've got sake ferment, which are two great anti-aging ingredients and skin protecting ingredients. We have green tea extract. And then we also have several amino acids. This has no fragrance in it. However, if you pick up the Neogen Real Ferment Micro Toner, that has peppermint oil in it. So you want to get the essence, not the toner."

"Next up is the Neogen Dermalogy Real Ferment Micro Essence, not the toner. The toner has peppermint oil in it. The essence has no fragrance in it. The star of the show in this one is Bifida Ferment. This is probably my fifth or sixth bottle of it. I love this stuff. I use it kind of like a toner and kind of like an essence depending on what my needs are. If I feel like using it like a toner with a cotton pad, I will do that. If my skin feels dry and dehydrated, I will just pat it onto skin. Watery texture, absorbs quickly and sets to a natural finish. Feels plumping and seems to help with tone and texture as well. It also contains Saky Ferment, which we all know from the SK-II brand, which became very popular and very expensive. This one has the popularity without the expense. It also has green tea, Saccharomyces ferment, Aspergillus ferment, and then 10 plus amino acids for barrier repairing. Wonderful product. Love it. Neogen has a lot of great stuff. I just absolutely love this."

"The Neogen Dermalogy Real Ferment Micro Essence is really nice because it's super light, watery, but really has wonderful ingredients that help to hydrate, balance, and also fermented ingredients that help to kind of improve texture and tone long term as well. Some people call it like the dupe to SK-II, but essentially it's a fermented essence that's really nice. It has high concentrations, like 28% of various blends of fermented yeast extract that helps to nourish and hydrate the skin, and when I say nourish, it's more adding that hydration back. And then 17% birch juice and 9% rice extract, which we know is great for brightening the skin. What I love is that this is very multifunctional in the sense that you can use it regardless of your skin type, but it's really ideal for oily and combination skin because with the fermentation you get naturally derived moisturizing factors, what we call NMF, what our skin makes naturally to hold on to water. You're also going to get lactic acid from that yeast fermentation, so that's one of the bonuses. And then you've got brightening ingredients that help remove any sort of dullness as well."

"I really like this one because it's got wonderful ingredients and some people even call it like the more affordable alternative to the SK-II fermented essence. But what the name implies, it's got wonderful fermented ingredients and when you ferment ingredients you're getting the brightening benefits often and then the hydrating benefits and often the ingredients are much smaller so they absorb into your skin more readily providing those benefits that we just mentioned. Ingredient wise it's got high concentrations of fermented yeast ingredients including bifidus ferment lysate as well as saccharomyces ferment filtrate that both helps to strengthen your skin barrier, helps to support your skin barrier, improve skin suppleness, plumpness, skin hydration and supporting your skin barrier with the nutrients to help it repair itself overnight. Also has rice ferment that helps to brighten along with birch juice that's calming and hydrating. I really just aside from all the benefits I love the fact that it is just a very much like water and I can just pat my skin, pat it into my skin, absorbs really nicely without having to worry about that it may cause pilling or interaction with the rest of the products I use in the evening."

"This retook inspiration from the SK-II Pitera Essence but brought it to a much wider audience at a much more accessible price point, and in my opinion it's more effective and has a much better ingredient list. We have over 90% bioferments in here, bifida ferment lysate, rice ferment, and saccharomyces, all designed to hydrate and help strengthen your skin barrier. This absorbs so quickly into the skin. Your skin is bouncy, dewy, looks plump and feels plump as well. This is an essence I happily layer. I'll do a very small amount, then another one, and remember the seven skin method? "I discovered the Neogen Real Ferment Micro Essence with 93% Micro Bioferment Complex. And I was like, this is my favorite one. This is the best one. And that's really because it has that 93% of fermented ingredients, which is what makes essences work. Essences really focused on fermented ingredients and brightening your skin tone and evening the skin tone. And that's what it did. The fermented ingredients, the Saccharomyces Ferment Filtrate, focuses on brightening of the skin, it's got anti-aging qualities. It's also soothing, it's moisturizing, it's rich in Amino Acids. This is also the product that really got me into Niacinamide. When my skin was very oily, I would use this alongside Niacinamide and Zinc. And it just controlled my sebum production from going out of control like it used to all the time. I used this daily, twice a day, for years and years.
