What the gurus are saying

Gurus praise this eye serum for its refreshing gel texture and cooling metal roller applicator, which provides a pleasant sensory experience especially in warm weather. The consensus is positive, though reviewers note the roller ball is better for the cooling effect than for even product application. Community input remains limited, with consistent appreciation for its hydrating properties and texture.

"Heat can make everything swell a little bit. If you're already prone to puffy eyes, you may notice that they actually get worse in the summertime. This product has a metal roller ball applicator, which is amazing for creating that cooling, rolling, massaging sensation in the eye area that is going to help to depuff the eye area, especially if you feel that or if you just have a hard time waking up and feeling refreshed in the morning. The coolness and massage helps get the lymphatic drainage going in that area, which is also going to meaningfully contribute to depuffed eye area. The texture is a gorgeous medium gel. It is not oily, emollient, or moisturizing. It is truly hydrating and it's such an amazing gel texture. It cools and refreshes. It dives deep down with a lot of hydration. When the under eye area gets a little dehydrated and it's not really plump, the fine lines appear a lot more prominent. This gel texture actually really plumps and smooths out the eye area in a really appealing way, and then it hydrates long term. It feels really cooling and it's not heavy. So you're going to get a lot less mascara smudging if you're a makeup wearer and just less overall grease and heaviness in the eye area, plus the cooling sensation. This is a great one especially for folks who maybe skip out on eye cream because of that creamy texture in hot weather."

How I Get a Warm Summer Glow Without Sun Damage (GRWM Skincare + Makeup)
"The Axis Y vegan collagen Eye Serum is another hot weather favorite of mine from last year. This has a beautiful plumping almost medium-like gel texture. It's not super thin. There is quite a bit of body to this pure gel texture. It's incredibly refreshing. With the roller ball applicator here, you do get that cooling effect from the metal ball. It's not an amazing applicator for spreading and getting the product to absorb. You still don't want to use your fingers, but I just love that cooling sensation, especially when I'm waking up and I'm already feeling kind of overwhelmed from the heat, and that can happen pretty quickly. So, I really like just that cooling, refreshing moment."
