What the gurus are saying

Gurus split on whether this device's genuine sculpting and lifting results justify its electrode globe discomfort, with some abandoning it after about a year of non-use because the pads simply aren't comfortable. Those who continue using it praise its gentleness, impressive lifting and sculpting power, and real effectiveness on reducing puffiness, comparing the experience to a jade roller upgraded with electrical microcurrents that give stronger results.

"I bought this exact device with my points and spent $0 and got the NuFace Mini. I do absolutely love it, I think it's a fantastic microcurrent device."
Top Pick: microcurrent device
~Nay
"I know they have tons of different features and attachments but I just never really got into that so I stuck with the microcurrent Minis. This is my second one. The first one kind of fritzed out. I didn't have great customer service trying to get that repair, and it only lasted a year. Honestly, I haven't reached for my NuFACE Mini in probably over a year. I purchased this around last holiday season and used it a couple times and haven't picked it up. The reason is the globes to me are not comfortable. The way you have to hold it is not comfortable to me, and they're kind of too large to get the contouring that I like to do during a microcurrent session."

"I'm going to start with my least favorite device and give you the reasons why it is my least favorite so it's the NuFACE Mini because I didn't like the gel that came with it that was kind of my first impressions like this is troublesome I have to keep rewetting my face it was sort of annoying the second thing is it died after a year but I'm giving it a second chance and I can't give you my full opinion on the NuFACE Mini yet because I haven't tried it literally it just arrived from my Sephora sale I will be doing an update on my experience with the NuFACE Mini."
Microcurrent For Over 50 Hooded Eyes | One Year Results! / Before and After
"I enjoyed this, I had no complaints about the NuFACE Mini. It gave me the results that I was looking for. In fact, if it had lasted, I might not have investigated another microcurrent device. So this is a great little device and I do recommend it. The only issue, and I've heard it from you guys too, is that it tends to die right when the warranty lets up."

"They also have the mini for $165 which is about $100 off so that is a really great deal as well."

"If that is just out of your price range or you already have this one and you're looking for one for on the go or something that's just less expensive they do have the Mini version in the Nordstrom anniversary sale this one is 165 down from 250. They do have the exact same base current but you don't get the 25% booster with the mini. It does come with a bottle of the conducting gel."

"So the first device which I do not recommend is NuFace or any micro current device because it doesn't work"

"If you've got the NuFACE Mini and the NuFACE Trio, those like I said are not my favorites, but if you already have them wait for those suckers to break before you go and get something different. Don't waste your money if you've already have something in the modality."

⚡️Microcurrent is a low-level electrical current that mimics the body's natural current
"So the most famous of all of the microcurrents is the NuFACE because it's been around forever. I still have this, I still use it, it's not my favorite though. In addition to stimulating the muscle contractions and improving the facial tone of your skin, it's lymphatically draining, so that will also help look a little bit more chiseled and it helps with wound healing, and that's where I think I'm getting the most benefit from that. But when you look at how the face ages anatomically, muscle tone is not one of the top ways that a face ages because we're constantly moving our face. Your muscle tone in your face is not one of the top three ways that our face ages. It's the redistribution of fat. When we age, we lose fat volume under the eyes, here on the temples, on the cheeks. It's this lack of fat that happens that then the anatomy sags, and we've got the jowly area. So it's that loss of fat that is the most common issue."

"I got the old NuFACE Mini I got this I don't know maybe four years ago 5 years ago and I did use it consistently I don't know three times a week maybe but that was about 30 minutes in order to hit all of the areas that I wanted to hit."

"NuFace is one of the only skincare tools that I'm actually like a really big fan of. A lot of dermatologists, estheticians, and chemists are a fan of it. It basically shocks your skin to help stimulate collagen production leading to healthier, more bouncy skin, and it's really effective. It's no joke. But definitely the price point isn't for everyone, and I personally don't often see it on sale. So if you are wanting to invest a little bit more into your skincare experience, that is one of the few tools that I would recommend."

"I like the mini because it's more lightweight and I feel like it works just as well."

⏰ My Skincare Routine: 6 Min VS 1 HOUR.. My 6 VS 60 Minute Skincare Ritual
"I love this for the face. It is gentle, it is sculpting, it is lifting, and especially if I slept on my face or on my side and I'm puffy, this is like a jade roller 2.0. The NuFace basically shoots microcurrents, electricity into the skin."
10 Best And Worst MicroCurrent Devices / Skincare Tools This Medical Esthetician Has Ever Used
"I love the new face, I've loved it for years. I lost my new face so I bought the sparkly one and then I found it again. The new face can be expensive. They have the new face Trinity and then they have the mini. I actually always recommend the mini. This has three settings whereas these have five, but I have found that the probes are pretty much the same size. This actually works just as good if not better. This is like 200 whereas these are 500. For a microcurrent device, I really love the mini. This is wonderful because it sits on my face so nicely. It just works with the contours of my face perfectly. The way it beeps kind of tells you when to hold. I think the new face is best for a beginner because I love love love love love the new face. I wouldn't recommend this for everyone, but for anyone who wants to lift their face, tone their face, and do it at home, especially if you're a beginner, this is perfect. It's simple, it's easy to use, and it's effective. I have seen major before and afters. This is used in clinic a lot. A lot of estheticians actually have a new face that they use. It's great. New face also makes some of the best conduction gels. If you can get it on sale, then get it. If not, spend 200 on the mini. Really similar results. There's three settings instead of five."
Dermatologist Approved Skincare Is 20% Off For 5 More Hours During Dermstore’s Beauty Refresh Sale
"I love the NuFace. I've seen it help me contour my cheeks and promote lymphatic drainage. NuFace does microcurrent really well, which stimulates ATP in the skin and can also act as lymphatic drainage and actually micro shocks the muscles under the skin, helping to train them just like you would in a gym. I love the NuFace, but I always speak about wanting to use the mini as opposed to the large device. I feel like the mini is very similar to the regular device, and if you're not switching out the little nozzles for other things, I would just go for the mini. The caveat is if you can get this on sale, whether it's the mini or the regular one, get it on sale. I think that the NuFace is absolutely a must-have on sale."
10 Best Skincare Sales That Are BETTER Than Black Friday (Skincare Tools & Luxury Sets)
"NuFace is 25 percent off directly on their website and they have little holiday sets as limited holiday editions. You can also find them on Amazon where they're having around 25 percent off, and I would set a reminder and try to get this on Amazon for Cyber Monday. NuFace is also sold at Sephora with their current sales."
5 Ways Celebrities Depuff Their Faces
"I actually really like the mini. I find that the mini is just as good as the big one, the Trinity and it's less expensive. Yes, the big one has more settings and it has more device heads, but the little one does the job just fine. Especially for when I'm trying to depuff my face. If I've had a really rough night or didn't sleep well, this helps to stimulate circulation. You can use it to massage. These are also kind of cooling and then you are shooting out electricity into the skin to help to stimulate those muscles underneath that subcutaneous fat and those dermal skin layers."
Pro Skin Treatments You SHOULD Do at Home
"The Nuface mini works just as good as the big one, you know, for the same price as two facials. And I've been using the Nuface since before the pandemic and it has not steered me wrong. So this is the gentle version with multiple little settings. And then this one is if you want a shocky shocky or if you have like really tough muscles and you're looking for a massage. Just because of the way these work and the way they work better over time, you need to use them regularly to see results. Just the way you need to exercise a little bit every single day, you know, to have optimal health. So why would you pay for this in a salon when you could literally get it at home?"
my skincare routine took forever because it's great - Tools & Treatments (Part 2)
"This is the NuFace Mini, a limited edition holiday collection that I don't think is available anymore. I've been using this for over a year and I definitely love this. I use a Holika Holika gel as a conductor with it since you cannot use this with oils. I've been using this tiny one because I wanted to see if this one or the bigger one worked better, and so far I've been liking this and it's less expensive. I don't do it every day like I should, but the days that I don't use an exfoliant is when I use this, sometimes in the morning if I have time or usually in the evening, or sometimes I even do this when I'm watching Netflix. I do love this and I really feel that it does help me get that kind of contoured muscle jawline as well as a little bit of a lift."
