In here, you've got a multitude of different actives, which are really going to help target all those individual skin concerns. You've got encapsulated retinoids, two different versions, which are going to help to boost collagen and elastin production, minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. You've also got resveratrol, which is a fantastic antioxidant. This is going to protect the collagen that we already have to minimize the appearance of any degradation. "You could literally just use this, start with a cleanser, use this, finish with a moisturizer and you'd have a really effective evening routine. It's going to target fine lines and wrinkles, fade hyperpigmentation, and boost firmness and hydration. None of the ingredients in here are going to strip, dry, or damage the skin, and so it's a really nice holistic but also gentle approach to anti-aging. I love it. The packaging, 10 out of 10. The formulation is up there too, and the price point is so good when you look at that formulation."

"I'm torn on this one. For the exfoliation benefits, I wouldn't regard this as a good exfoliant because of its pH that I found. It's not optimal for AHA exfoliants to work to their highest level when it's at this pH. It also contains so many different ingredients and so many actives in one product. Is it a retinoid? Is it an exfoliant? Is it an antioxidant serum? Is it for fine lines and wrinkles? I think they're trying to do a little too much in this. I do like the combo of retinoids that they've used in here. The one issue I did have using this is I don't want to use this with other exfoliants because it does contain a fair amount of glycolic acid in here. So I stopped using my exfoliants while testing this one out, and I started to notice some of the issues that you get when you don't use exfoliants so much, like larger pores. For me, I ended up really preferring to use this like every other night and then still use my exfoliants, and then it just becomes a retinoid serum. I do highly recommend following up with a moisturizer just to prevent dryness."

"I wasn't overly blown away by the performance. The ingredients include niacinamide which is a brightening ingredient, glycolic acid, HA exfoliant most effective and efficient when it's between three and four pH. When glycolic acid is used in a proper amount or percentage at a proper pH, it actually helps with firming and collagen production in skin with regular use. I didn't see that with this one, but I have noticed it with other glycolic and AHAs that I've used regularly. Got lactic acid, HA exfoliant, again best between three and four pH. When used properly at a proper pH, helps with skin thickness and wrinkles. We've got retinol, anti-aging, gold standard ingredient, helps with fine lines, wrinkles, brightness, prevents acne, breakouts. Phospholipids, skin identical ingredient for repairing and also phospholipids are used with other ingredients to create liposomes which they mention they use for their retinoids. Liposomes are great because they help deliver ingredients penetrating into the skin as well as allow for a slow release so it's not like the retinoids are in your skin and it's irritating."

"It's an interesting product that combines so many different actives. It's pretty nice to hit them all at once. But definitely do a patch test because it's got a lot of strong ingredients in there. At 30 bucks for 1 oz, 30 milliliters, you can't beat that price, especially since it's hard to find this brand on a good deal."

"Remedy Healthy Aging Serum is at a 0.5% concentration. I don't consider it to be like a retinol serum just because it's got retinaldehyde plus peptides plus alpha hydroxy acids plus the antioxidants, but technically it does have retinaldehyde in it at effective concentrations and so could fall into the category of retinaldehyde serums even though it's a more comprehensive approach to aging skin. It's hard to pigeonhole any Remedy product into the one active ingredient because they're so comprehensive. I would say that's more of an aging product for anyone who is aging than just a straightup retinol product."
