These are so good, they cover well, they have a nice radiant finish, because if you're covering under eye after 40, you probably don't want something mattifying, because that will settle into your lines and whatnot, and who needs something clocking you like that."

"This is a great concealer if you're looking for concealer that helps to camouflage dark circles, broken capillaries, fine lines and wrinkles, make you look more refreshed, less tired, but doesn't crease and doesn't accentuate the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, especially when you set it with powder. It is super hydrating, it's super pigmented so a little bit goes a long way. Because it's super richly pigmented and they have what they call the expression proof technology, it essentially prevents it from cracking and kicking up so that way it doesn't make you look older and doesn't make you look like you have more wrinkles than you really do. This technology contains a blend of ingredients that helps to essentially hydrate the under eye area, which already is pretty delicate, so hydrolyzed collagen peptides, hyaluronic acid and vitamin E. All around a great under eye concealer that's hydrating that won't make you look older, a little bit goes a long way, doesn't crack, and it's just a really elegant under eye concealer."

"It's an under eye concealer which is one of the few things that actually can at least temporarily get rid of dark under eye circles, obviously not permanently removing them, but under eye concealer is one of the more practical things you can do to address dark under eye circles on a day-to-day basis. This has niacinamide, which is an ingredient I love, good for redness and hyperpigmentation, so if you have actual discoloration under the eye that may be beneficial. It has magnesium and stabilized vitamin C that may have a decent opportunity to actually penetrate the skin, especially under the delicate eyelid skin. It may help as an antioxidant to combat oxidative stress that could further weaken the barrier, but whether or not it's going to get in and boost collagen we don't have much research in that regard. This also has petrolatum, which is good for reducing water loss, and it's waterproof so it'll stay on there, which is great in this humidity."

"Whether it's the IT Cosmetics or whether it's another product, they're all gimmicks because they basically have film forming agents that kind of create a barrier on top of your skin to tighten your skin temporarily. They have some hydrating ingredients like acetyl hexapeptide eight or hydrolyzed rice protein or hyaluronic acid or whatever, but ultimately the second you put makeup on top or you put a moisturizer on top of it, it will start to crack and crease and kind of create a tiny film that pills off. The effects are really not that long lasting. The only way you're going to get a long lasting effect is if it's all you put on your face and you skip and bypass the makeup, and you'll have like a full day's effect, but it will crease and crack throughout the day. They may be great for a photo shoot or a very short visit to somebody important, but they're not great and they're not going to help your face in the long run."
