"Finished this one, the Allies of Skin Mandelic Pigmentation Corrector Night Serum. I need all the help with brightening that I can get. Tough melasma, dark spots, all that good stuff. This stuff's really nice, really effective, efficient. No fragrance in it. It is on the pricey side, but mandelic acid can be really nice for brightening up skin. This stuff lasts forever. Just applying a little bit of it. This was a repurchase, so I've repurchased this two or three times now. It is expensive, but it does do a nice job. It's got some nice brightening ingredients in there. You just apply it at night, works great."

The nice thing for acne prone skin is there's no ingredients of note which make it great for acne prone or blackhead prone skin, and the ingredients in here also fight that. It's a bit pricey at a hundred bucks for 30 milliliters, but I've repurchased it multiple times. I'd Google it and check out prices because it's sometimes on sale at certain places or there might be buy one get one free deals at Allies. The mandelic acid is a light sensitive AHA derived from bitter almond that can gently lift off dead surface skin cells and make skin more soothing in the evening, and it also has antibacterial properties promising against acne and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. It has niacinamide, a skin brightening anti-acne ingredient, and lactic acid, an AHA exfoliating ingredient with hydrating benefits and skin firming and anti-aging benefits when you use it regularly in larger percentages."

"I absolutely love this serum. Most products I purchase and review are nothing I'll ever repurchase again, but the fact that I've repurchased this multiple times, especially given the price of it, says something huge about this, especially for people with melasma and pigmentation and brightening issues. It just seems to work well. The ingredient list is amazing, I love seeing bakuchiol or superoxide dismutase in an ingredient list. It's a wonderful ingredient list with white tea and several soothing and hydrating ingredients, peptides, vitamin and panthenol. Very impressed with this great brightening and exfoliating product, and the combination of brightening and exfoliating all in one as well as anti-aging, soothing and hydrating."

If you're looking for a minimalistic routine, you can cleanse, tone, apply this and a moisturizer and I think you're good to go because it does everything else for you. I gave this a nine out of ten. The only issue I had was the price, it's expensive, but it is worth it. A little bit does not go a long way, but a bottle lasts me two to three months, and it basically does everything I need it to do, so it's wonderful."
