What the gurus are saying

Mandelic acid and a brightening peptide called nanopeptide work together to visibly fade both old and new pigmentation, and the formula stays gentle enough for daily use because it includes soothing ingredients and oils that prevent the dryness and flaking many exfoliants cause. The main trade-off is the price (around £100 for 30ml) though gurus who have repurchased it multiple times suggest hunting for sales or looking for promotional offers to ease the cost. If you are new to exfoliating acids, easing in with every other day or every third day before moving to nightly use may feel more comfortable.

"Finished this one, the Allies of Skin Mandelic Pigmentation Corrector Night Serum. I need all the help with brightening that I can get. Tough melasma, dark spots, all that good stuff. This stuff's really nice, really effective, efficient. No fragrance in it. It is on the pricey side, but mandelic acid can be really nice for brightening up skin. This stuff lasts forever. Just applying a little bit of it. This was a repurchase, so I've repurchased this two or three times now. It is expensive, but it does do a nice job. It's got some nice brightening ingredients in there. You just apply it at night, works great."

"The Allies of Skin Mandelic Pigmentation Corrector Night Serum, which is a little bit more expensive than this one. With a 10 being a perfect score, this one a 9. The issue is the price."
Allies of Skin Mandelic Pigmentation Corrector Night Serum for Dark Spots Review
"I found it gentle enough for daily use and it does contain some nice soothing ingredients and oils so a lot of exfoliants can kind of dry your skin or make it feel irritated or flaky, but this one contains some nice soothing ingredients to help prevent that from happening. If you're new to exfoliants I don't recommend starting out using it every single day. I'd start using it every other day, every third day, and then slowly work your way up. This is one of my favorite brightening products. It just seems to work well for new and old pigmentation issues. And then the nice thing for acne prone skin is there's no ingredients of note which make it great for acne prone or blackhead prone skin. The price is a bit pricey, but in my opinion I've repurchased it multiple times. I would Google it and check out for prices because sometimes it's on sale at certain places. Last time I repurchased this it was buy one get one free at Allies. But otherwise if you're just purchasing this retail it's 30 milliliters for about a hundred bucks, so just do some digging and checking because I really like the buy one get one free especially when it's something else that you'd already be willing to try."

"Nanopeptide one which can be found in the Allies of Skin Mandelic Pigmentation Corrector Night Serum is one of my favorite peptides that is really well known for being great at brightening. These are super well-rounded products, they have tons of other brightening ingredients in there in addition to the brightening peptide."
