Inner Glow Age Defense Vitamins is a great brand. It's a supplement that you take orally that gives you more antioxidants that help defend your skin and protect your skin from the sun and free radical damage. Neither of them take the place of sunscreen, but when you're a person like me who deals with melasma and you're really sensitive to the sun, this just gives you that added boost of protection for your skin and I love it. I take these supplements every single day, especially if I'm going to be out in the sun. You take it like an hour before you go outside and it helps protect your skin so much more. I like [...] Inner Glow even more because it offers even more benefits for your skin and your hair, which is why it's a little bit more pricey. [...] Both of them have an ingredient called polypodium leucotomos, which is an antioxidant ingredient that comes from a fern and it's been proven to help protect your skin from the sun, and I think that's amazing.
I would still advise against Visine regardless of what you're using. [...] The way it works, it constricts the blood vessels on the surface of the eye, and then there's a rebound effect: as it wears off, it causes even more dilation of those blood vessels, so you end up with more redness and reach for more Visine. [...] You want to look at the active ingredient, not just the brand name, [...] it's the same one that's in nasal spray. [...] If it's an emergency, using it once is okay, but if you're using it constantly, you need to ask yourself why.
This is boring. It's so thick, not everybody needs a thicker [product]. It really makes me mad when people say like everyone needs Embryolisse, no they don't. Not everyone is going to survive it. A really oily skinned client is not going to benefit from having Embryolisse under their makeup, period. You will not find it in my Pro kit. I've never seen it actually.

"I always end up going back to our Vitamin C Complex Serum, which is an OG. This was one of the first products that we ever launched. I'll move on to like other vitamin C serums just because there's so many on the market."

"There's another one called Melisil that's in La Roche-Posay's Mela B3 serum and that works by kind of quenching the melanin precursors. In clinical studies it works really well. It's been shown to be equivalent to hydroquinone. Melisil is another new ingredient that I use a lot in my practice. Works great. Doesn't lighten the surrounding normal skin. One of the biggest challenges with hydroquinone, if you're treating a dark spot, is that you can get a halo around it. I call it the hydroquinone halo. So these products don't do that."
"One of the most recent ones that launched is called Thiamidol. It's an ingredient that's in a product called Eucerin Radiant Tone and it's actually been available around the world for the last seven years. It's been a big component of what people around the world have been using to treat pigment, but we just got it here in the US. It works by inhibiting tyrosinase. Tyrosinase is the enzyme that is the most critical enzyme in the manufacturing of melanin. So if you inhibit tyrosinase, you reduce melanin in the skin because it can't create it. What made it unique is that it inhibits human tyrosinase. All of the active ingredients that we know of that inhibit tyrosinase have been tested on mushroom tyrosinase because mushrooms have tyrosinase, that's why they turn brown. The scientists who were working on this ingredient found an assay to look at what inhibits human tyrosinase which is actually quite different than mushroom tyrosinase. And they found it to be a really potent inhibitor of mushroom tyrosinase. They developed this product around this active ingredient and it works great. I've been using it in my practice."
"This is from DRMTLGY, this is their Needleless Growth Factor Serum. I've been into growth factors and I'm always curious to know if something's worth telling you about. I don't have an opinion about this, so I'm not telling you to go out and buy it just yet, but I did start using it. It was sent to me in PR and so far the thing I can tell you the most is that it feels nice. [...] I got an instant glow, that in itself is a nice benefit."
"This is very, very hydrating to your skin. I also just really like this brand. They have some cool products. You can see it's very, very liquidy, so almost like an essence. It feels good. This is my style. This serum feels really nice on the skin and it's glowing."
"For example, dark spots is one of our bestselling products. I would tell you, oh you got to buy this this and this. And I thought to myself, why can't we just put these all in one product? It's not as simple as it seems, trying to put all these ingredients in one formula, stabilizing and putting them at the right pH, it's not an easy task. Somebody who doesn't want to layer multiple products could find our products and still see the good results that they wanted to see."
"We have Remedy for healthy aging, which is the product that I use. It's like retinol, exfoliating acids, peptides. It's the product I love. This product, everybody I know has a super high repurchase rate, people love this product, and it's just super moisturizing for people that are in their late 20s, early 30s and beyond that want that moisturizing effect. It's a beautiful product."
"This has human platelets in it, so think PRP. They're using human platelets in this with the exosomes. It's a much smaller bottle as well, it's only 15 ml whereas the other one is 30 ml. The Plated one is a much better experience but you're not getting those additional antioxidants and copper peptides that you get in the other product. I do find that this does not have a disgusting smell to it. It has some kind of a smell but it's not disgusting and I find that it dries down nicer. You can use it morning or night. They're also instead of just touting wound healing, which they do tout, they're also promoting that it helps with wrinkles and also helps with any kinds of dark spots or redness. So they're promoting more of like it helps with any kind of skin issue that you're dealing with, whether it comes to redness, dark spots, or aging or wound healing. I think that this is a much better experience that you're getting half of the product for about the same price. This one is a little bit newer to my routine, I've only been using it for about a week, but I would say that my skin looks good but I wouldn't say it's any better so far."
"It feels like it's truly nourishing and hydrating my skin, and I'm getting a good layer of it without it feeling heavy, without it feeling sticky, none of that. It's just a really beautiful texture and I like the feeling of it, which is so surprising to me because sometimes I'm just like, oh, a hydrating serum, what do I want with that for, I can get that out of my other serums. But this truly makes the difference. I have noticed my skin just looks smoother, it looks and feels more hydrated. I really like this stuff."
"The hyaluronic serum, I think sometimes people in the skincare community really poo poo hyaluronic acid serums a little too much when in reality you can get some great serums that are hydrating and plumping and nourishing for the skin and feels super light where they call out the main ingredient as hyaluronic acid but it turns out there are so many other ingredients like this."
"I love their niacinamide and zinc serum. I think it's just good for all over balancing, toning, and a lot of really good properties, and I also just love the way it feels on my skin. "It's from Theramid, it is their copper peptide serum. It has 3% copper peptides and a blend of peptides at 13%. I went back and forth on this one. I love copper peptides, I love a peptide serum, I love a peptide product, so I was really curious about this one. At first I was really into it. It has this really rich blue tone to it, it has a gel cream texture to it, but over time I just felt like that texture was weird to incorporate into my skincare routine. Like it wasn't a typical serum step but it also wasn't a moisturizer. It just didn't fit into my skincare routine well, but I enjoyed it enough to finish it."
"It uses a technology called electroporation, which essentially means it's sending electric currents into your skin in a safe way that create passageways for your skincare products to penetrate deeper. The tests on it show this worked on drugs, so you can kind of make some guesses that it can transfer over to skincare products, but it's not always that simple, it's more of a good concept. There's nowhere on their website that says the technology is any different from other devices, so in my opinion it's just more marketing, [...] it seems like it's the same technology just different devices so they can sell you more devices. I used it and I did feel like my skincare products were penetrating my skin more, but what I didn't like is there isn't a lot of information on what it's really doing for your skin besides that. Is it actually stimulating any collagen? Is it too strong? The pamphlet suggests [...] you don't go higher than a one or a two, but it goes up to like five speeds, and if you go higher and get close to your eye you can feel it kind of tweak your eye out a little bit, which gets me a little weirded out about how safe it is for your skin. [...] I used the device for about 30 days. I felt like it did help my skincare products penetrate a little bit deeper, but it felt like a chore to use, mostly because it says you have to use it five times a week to see the best results, the more you use it the better the results, and it just started to feel like a chore and I wasn't seeing enough of a difference. At some point I did feel like my skin felt irritated."
"I'm going to start with the Sarah Ford Biocell Oxygen Serum. Sarah's been doing my skin for a couple of years now and she really transformed the texture of my skin. It's so soft and smooth, and I still have breakouts all the time when I'm using a lot of makeup on sets, but it keeps my skin as clear as possible and non-reactive as possible. So I'm very obsessed."
"The main thing it's got is like that melit of perment LIF state, that's a cool ingredient for like regenerative benefits, but it's in a lot of K beauty stuff at high concentrations. I think this is a good product, I don't think I would spend $95 on it. What intrigued me is a little bit of their marketing on their website. They say they've got this proprietary technology to deliver a trillion multi-layer liposomes per drop, that's a big promise. If they were doing that, I would pay more than $95. If we could prove that quality outweighs quality, I mean if you've got a trillion liposomes, is there anything that has ever indicated that that's going to be more beneficial? Potentially they're thinking that you're breaking down the ingredients into such tiny, more digestible pieces for your skin. I think it's interesting because as a chemist I'm reading that and I'm so intrigued, but would that even make it better? I would love to hear more because I think there's room here for there to be some things I don't fully understand."
"I'm just trying to support my skin barrier and I want to add in all the moisture and hydration. I'm going to go in with this from The Ordinary, it is the Soothing and Barrier Support Serum. I bought this probably like a month and a half ago and I just started using it. You can see it has B12 in it that gives it this really beautiful pink tone to it, which I also just think is really fun, but it has other really nice soothing ingredients like Centella asiatica. So again, I'm trying to just make sure that my skin barrier feels really nice and strong and supported."
"This is their foray into skincare. [...] It has 12 actives including hyaluronic acid, peptides, niacinamide, noni fruit to flood the skin with hydration. There's a lot of really nice hydrating ingredients. There's even beta glucan, which I personally really like in skincare products. They even have ceramides. I mean, it's a really nice product. But if it's $150 for a beautiful serum, you don't want to waste it after your moisturizer because [...] you're just not getting that full quick benefit, especially when it comes to hydrating products. [...] When it goes in that proper order, lightest to heaviest, then you're getting that better absorption. [...] You don't want to waste that potential for absorption."
"A vitamin C serum is efficacious, but this one has a very short ingredient list which doesn't always translate to efficacy because ascorbic acid is very unstable. That said, there are other vitamin C derivatives in this product that will stabilize the vitamin C, the ascorbic acid, but also offer you more benefits as well. It's got a lot of antioxidants going for it no matter what in this serum."

"When it comes to lactic acid, I really love this Biossance Squalane + Lactic Acid Resurfacing Night Serum. This feels kind of like a milky type of serum that you put onto your skin. It's not so strong that you feel like a tingle or anything like that. It just feels like you're getting this smooth, steady exfoliation on a regular basis. So I like to wear this right before I put on my moisturizer as like the last serum step of my routine. I think it's a really nice way to get lactic acid into your skincare routine."
"It has a little bit of this like luminescent tone to it, there's a little bit of a like a light shimmer in this formula that makes your skin look really pretty. It has hyaluronic acid in it and it's just very hydrating and brightening for the skin. So if you want to wear it with or without makeup, I find that I've been using this under my makeup like even today it's like this dewy look to your skin but it's natural looking. I don't know how to explain it but it is so pretty when you put it on and it's very light so it just gives you this nice sheen, this healthy glow to your skin."
"I love the Naturium Multi-Peptide Advanced Serum. It's one of my all-time favorite products I've ever made. If you have dry skin and want to hydrate a little bit, it's anything that's going to give you that hydration before you put on your moisturizer."
"We now sell the Naturium Azelaic Acid 10% at Target. This is a glycinated azelaic acid, so it's an azelaic acid derivative, which means it's not as strong as pure azelaic acid. If you're dealing with really bad perioral dermatitis, you should probably use pure azelaic acid if you can handle it. But I like this one because it has that really light texture to it. It's going to help also balance out my oil production. And I can use it morning and night and get like a really pretty glow on my skin and everything. It has great ingredients to help with that redness."
"They go in with this ultrasound machine called Softwave and they do it on your face. They do it on your neck. They can do it on other parts of your body too. But I've only done my face and neck area and it feels kind of like it's a little bit painful in bony areas because it does heat up for like a split second. But it feels like they're shrink wrapping your skin and I'm like, 'Yes, please please shrink wrap it to my face again.' You do it like once a year unless your skin's like really really saggy. Then you have to do it maybe like two times a year. But I only do it once a year. Honestly, it's not that bad. [...] The pain is like a fast pain. It's like heating, heating, heating. And just when it's like unbearable, it stops. [...] I didn't find it that unbearable. You don't really see the results until 3 months."
"I like to let that dry down just because it can deactivate some of your other skincare products. This is the hydroquinone 6% from Apostrophe. I mean, every three or four months I pick up another bottle of hydroquinone from them just because I think it's such a great ingredient. It's the gold standard when it comes to dark spots. I deal with melasma and I decided this was really important. I usually use it right before I'm going to do a treatment and then afterwards, especially if it's going to be a laser treatment. I went on a beach vacation over New Year's Eve and then I went skiing and I actually think it was the skiing that got me because I wore sunscreen the whole time but the reflection off of the snow it gets to your skin. So I'm putting on my hydroquinone 6%."
"I've recently I'm fully converted to the Naturium Mandelic Acid body wash. This is the one we recently launched and I've run out of it the other day and realized how much I love this one and that like cooling sensation. That's kind of like a skincare powered body wash for sure, is kind of where I start the whole body routine."
"It uses this ingredient because it helps with barrier support, it helps even with some hyperpigmentation, but it also helps with soothing. It says that's an active molecule in licorice known to soothe and brighten the skin, so they're taking [...] the active molecule in licorice rather than just the extract, which I love. I also [...] really love the texture of this, it's kind of like a heavy gel texture with some body to it that's still lightweight, so you can still layer other products with it. And actually, of all the Prequel products, I think this feels like a Korean beauty skincare product. It doesn't smell like anything, which I love."
"If it's a morning skincare routine, I'm always going to recommend a vitamin C serum. My favorite vitamin C serum to recommend for people with dry skin is from my own brand, Naturium, it's our Vitamin C Complex Serum. The reason why I think this is great for people with dry skin is, one, it's very gentle, and that's because we use a vitamin C that is conjugated with glutathione, which is another antioxidant, and also with gold, and it just helps create this stabilization of it. It's kind of like a form of encapsulation, it keeps the vitamin C stable, which we know vitamin C is notoriously unstable, so you don't have to worry about that. But it also means it helps to penetrate your skin a little bit better, it gets it to the place where you want it to go. On top of that, because it's in this type of encapsulation method, you don't have to worry about having a really low pH, which is usually what you have to do with a vitamin C serum to get it to work properly. We actually don't have to make this at a low pH, so it's not acidic. So if you have dry skin, it's very unlikely that you'll experience any kind of irritation with this vitamin C. If you're one of those people that's like, I've used vitamin C before, it always irritates my skin, my skin doesn't react well, I always say to try this one out. It could still not be the one for you, but I always suggest trying this one out. It's a really good price, but also it's just very hydrating because of the way that we formulate this. It has a lot of glycerin in it, there's hyaluronic acid in it, so you'll notice that your skin just looks and feels plumper and more hydrated."
"This is from Goodall, it's their Green Tangerine Vitamin C Dark Spot Serum. This is more of like a vitamin C derivative, so I really use this because it's just really nourishing for my skin. It makes it look glowy and bouncy. I love this product. I go through bottles of this. I've done sponsorships with them, love it, love this product. I think it's just a really enjoyable experience when you use it."
"Five percent tranexamic acid is a clinically effective percentage of tranexamic acid so you'll really see a big difference in your hyperpigmentation and your melasma. It goes really well with all of your other skincare ingredients, it doesn't cause any irritation for my skin, and I can use it actually morning and night. It's a really really light serum, it almost feels like it's an essence, so it's just very hydrating for the skin. There are other ingredients in here as well: there's kojic acid which is another one of those ingredients for hyperpigmentation, niacinamide, and then licorice root as well in this one product."
"At the pharmacies that I went to, I picked up Biafine. You know that was a French girl secret, French girl pharmacy secret, Biafine. So it's really cute too because they have these mini Biafines, because typically the Biafines are like huge and massive. And so they have these little ones in Korea. Which I feel like really is going to blow up because it's about all of these like tiny tubes that are like eight bucks that are so efficacious and so strong and what they're giving you as far as results. They're in these tiny tubes and everything is so affordable, so accessible. So you really load up at the pharmacy over there."
"Following that up with the Avène Tolerance Control Cream. This is their soothing skin recovery cream. [...] It's a nice rich cream that feels really soothing on the skin and I want to just lock everything down because I know that this dermatitis is being caused from irritation. So, this is going to help a lot."
"The Magic Cream from Charlotte Tilbury. I used to love this. I still do. I just haven't used it in a long time. I quite like the Charlotte Tilbury range because it's made especially to go under foundations and things like that. So, I find it works better."
"We have our thick Moisture Recovery Cream. I would put an oil underneath that, but then we have a really lightweight performance cream. I would put an oil over that, too."
"Next up, going in with this moisturizer from my brand Naterium. This is our Multipeptide Moisturizer. This is actually a more medium-weight moisturizer. Usually I'd use something very thick, but I told you it's humid here and I don't want my skin to break out more because I feel like this humidity is causing my skin to freak out a little bit. So going in with just a lighter moisturizer."
"I just started using this and I really like it, especially if I'm using something like the retinol complex cream that's a little bit richer. This is just a light moisturizer, but it feels very moisturizing actually. It's just a lighter texture. And I've been liking it, especially in Miami where it's humid and you don't want to put on a super super thick moisturizer. This does a really good job for my dry skin, but in the humidity. It has very similar ingredients as the original, but I feel like it gives you a little bit more of a sheen, like a glow to your skin. The retinol complex cream is moisturizing, but it doesn't really give you that glossy skin glow. This does. That's what I've been liking about it. It's nice and it smells pretty. If you don't mind fragrance, I don't mind it."

"That's the anti-redness one. It's created by a UK dermatologist. It's got a sort of soft focus primer effect to it as well. If you suffer from redness, it's green and you're probably not going to have any redness in your face. It's for rosacea prone skin."
"I'm all about the juicy dewy skin, like this is the Bong Bong Bounce Cream. I really wanted to create a barrier cream because barrier creams are also a cream beauty trend that translated over here. I wanted to find something that was not so heavy in texture because everything was so thick and medical feeling, so that's why this Bong Bong Bounce Cream it is more lightweight but then it has that swelling of the occlusives and the humectants that are going to really protect your skin and cocoon you."
"I'm a dry skin girly so I like a nice rich moisturizer. This one is from Skin Rocks, it is the Rich Moisturizer Face Cream. There is a fragrance-free version and a fragranced version. I'm going to use a dollop here, put it all over my skin because I really just want to lock everything in. I wish you guys could feel my skin because it is so nice and smooth. It is really really nice."
"If you need something that's a little bit richer but can still be nice underneath your makeup and underneath your sunscreen, the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream is a really nice one. It's going to be a little bit thicker because it has ingredients like shea butter in it, but it's super nourishing for your skin. If you do have super dry skin, you might want something that's a little bit thicker."
"The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA moisturizer is a really nice midweight moisturizer. It has super nourishing ingredients in there, has a ton of different amino acids that help to strengthen and support your skin barrier, and it just feels nice and creamy but not too heavy. It doesn't leave your skin looking greasy, so I find that it's just a really nice moisturizer for most skin types but especially for someone with dry skin."
"This is a $48 moisturizer and it has 7% lifting peptides, there's a 2% Biore retinol, they have ceramides in here to strengthen your skin barrier, it's fragrance free. What really sold this brand to me and this specific moisturizer to me is that I have seen so many people like my colleagues in this industry just rave about this brand and also the founder. I saw Alex the Cosmetic Chemist, the founder of Educated Mess, raving about this specific moisturizer. The more I talk to people in this industry, it turns out even people who work for me on my team at Narium really love the founder of iNNBEAUTY PROJECT. A lot of their products actually are really interesting to me, so I'm going to pick up this moisturizer because it piques my interest."
"This is the Faded Topicals Brightening and Clearing Gel. It has a lot of really good ingredients that I feel like they're subtle so they won't make your skin freak out because they're too powerful for what's going on at the time. They work slow and steady, so I really like this for spot treating. For example, if I have dark spots I would just tap it on my dark spots and not my entire face and just let them do what they do. Topicals Faded is iconic at this point, it's a wonderful product for hyperpigmentation. It has ingredients like azelaic acid in it, which gently exfoliates your skin, evens your skin tone, and if you deal with any kind of redness in your skin, which is a form of inflammation, then it helps to calm that, so it ends up almost preventing your hyperpigmentation. It's also been known to help brighten and even your skin tone. There's also tranexamic acid in here, which is a really great tyrosinase inhibitor, meaning that it helps to stop that overproduction of melanin in your skin that causes hyperpigmentation. And another main ingredient in here is niacinamide."
"I have been a stan of this La Roche-Posay cream for so long. This also travels with me. The reason why I love this so much, especially when I travel, is because it doesn't have any preservatives in it. There are times when my skin is so super sensitive I want the most basic, basic, basic, and sometimes preservatives can be a little bit irritating to the skin. When you're traveling and your skin is just so dry or something, this ends up being the perfect moisturizer to put on. The reason why they don't have to add preservatives to this is because they have a built-in preservative system with a little airbag in there so nothing can get in. It's perfect for anyone who has hyper-sensitive skin. It's moisturizing. It's that like perfect in-between kind of moisturizer for every skin type. I go through bottles of this, or tubes, or whatever we would call this. Love it."
"Sam Ellis's brand they had sent me this Urea repair lotion sample before it launched and I did not get a chance to really use it and then I threw it into my bag when I was traveling and I was like oh this stuff is so good like I went through the whole entire thing on that trip and I was like when I get back I got to pop open a bottle of it but it's like always sold out and back and then sold out so I haven't really had a chance to get another bottle of it but this bottle was great until that last drop of it."
"If you don't like vitamin C serums there are other treatments out there that have antioxidants like this one from Jordan Samuel Skin, this is their Antioxidant Treatment Emulsion. [...] It has different antioxidant ingredients that are not ascorbic acid so for people who have sensitive skin you might find this one to be a little bit better. It is a thicker texture, it's an emulsion so it's going to be a little bit more nourishing for the skin too. It just feels really nice and very very light so I feel like all skin types can use it. You can use this morning and night but I prefer to use it in the morning time to just really help boost that radiance in my skin and also boost the protection that you get from your sunscreen."
"I love this cream because it's rich, it's thick, it's super moisturizing, and my skin is historically just so dry and from travel, like it does dry you out. My facialist recommended this cream and I just am addicted to it. Is it overpriced? Absolutely, 100%. The patent that they have is very interesting to me. It's a delivery system and they have it patented, and you can as a consumer go look up this patent. It was created by a doctor, Augustine Bader, who did research and created this patent for medical use, and they basically translated it to an inclusive that can help ingredients penetrate your skin."
"The Acne Expert Skincare Calming Moisture Gel allows skin to breathe, which is great for those who prefer a light hydrator. It has a very simple ingredient list with calming ingredients like allantoin, glycerin, panthenol, and aloe vera. It's a very straightforward hydrating gel moisturizer. The cooling feeling is nice, but there aren't that many ingredients in here that are going to make it feel occlusive. If you're going to be sweating and you're already prone to being a little bit more oily, a gel moisturizer would be the way to go to keep your skin care light. "If you have really dry parched skin right now, especially during the winter time, I have been loving this. It's one of those creams where you open it up and it is just so nice and rich, but it also feels like it has this hydrating aspect to it, which you don't always get when you find like really thick rich creams. Sometimes they feel like they can almost be pasty on the skin, but this doesn't feel like that at all. My first impressions are that it just feels nice and rich and moisturizing, and it really could be great and beneficial for anybody with dry skin, but it also has this hydrating aspect to it."

"I have a brand new bottle of Naturium Barrier Balance because I think it's great to hydrate your skin. It has squalane in it. It has 2% urea in it and it has a ceramide complex in it which are all really great ingredients for any kind of sensitive skin, dry skin issues. It's going to be really helpful. Sometimes I like to use this as a product to top off my moisturizer, but I'm going to use this actually underneath my moisturizer because the actual moisturizer I'm using is pretty thick. So I'm putting this on and it gives a beautiful glow. Urea is a wonderful ingredient for your skin, especially when you want to hydrate because at low percentages, like 2%, it's truly just a hydrator. It's a humectant and it's already found in our skin naturally because it's part of our natural moisturizing factor. So look how pretty. Makes your skin just super super glowy."
"This is when I apply the Alloy M4 Estriol Cream. I really have been enjoying this. I've been using it for over a month. You only need about two pumps. What I like about it is that it's a really nice moisturizer. I had ordered estriol cream from another service and that one came so chalky and thick and I was like I'm not going to use this. I like this one because it feels like I'm topping it off like my skincare routine with a really nice moisturizer. It's not too heavy. It's not too thick and it just feels really good. It's called estriol cream, so it contains estrogen in it and what it's supposed to do is help with collagen production elasticity. So it helps with your fine lines and your wrinkles. I just think because it's a nice formula it also helps to plump everything out as well. And it has a good texture, which is important to me because not all prescription skincare products come with beautiful textures. My biggest complaint when it comes to prescription skincare is sometimes these products can just feel so unusable. Like, who wants to use something that's chalky and hard to rub onto your skin? I want to use something that looks elegant and feels good on my skin. So this one I've been really enjoying it."
"Remember it was like Embryolisse and like La Mer used to be like the go-to moisturizers you would use under makeup back in the day. I have a theory about that. The kit comes with this melon recovery, it actually feels really nice on the skin, [...] but it has a really strong fragrance which I think is odd for post-recovery for your skin. "I look at it more as like a foundation stick personally. If you're using a stick or a cream like a heavy cream concealer in the eyes it's just gonna look really heavy on your eyes. It's a heavier product, it's like a thicker inconsistency, and you're just not going to benefit as much as you would using a liquid concealer that has a chance to dry down. They're easier to manipulate and to really blend out into a perfect finish. When you think about how much movement we have under our eyes and how much expression we have throughout the day, our eyes are always moving constantly. So unless you're really setting that concealer into place, which is going to require probably a lot more powder than you'd want, I would always opt for a liquid concealer for under the eyes. It just looks better, looks more skin like, looks more fresh, you're gonna have less of a chance of it creasing if you properly set it."
"You guys have heard me talk about this because Nikki, my friend and makeup artist, has said that this product is a dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter. I had a hard time believing it because I really like that product. Now, will I say it's a dupe? I don't know. It feels like it's a little bit different. I don't know if I feel like it's easier to use. Like, it feels like it's maybe not as radiant or as luminescent as the Charlotte Tilbury one, but it's a really great product. "I'm just gonna come out the gate with probably the most expensive item on this entire list just because I love it so much and that is the Dyson Airstrait. It is a $500 device, so I do not take it lightly telling you that I think that this is one of my favorite hair tools that I have ever used. The Airstrait is a game changer for someone like me with care frizzy hair, kind of wavy. For me specifically this hair tool is a complete game changer like it has changed my life. It is such a chore for me to blow dry my hair especially if I want my hair to be really smooth. I get out of the shower I prep my hair I have to blow dry it then I have to work really hard to then smooth it with a round brush and then I still have to curl it and by the end of that I've spent like an hour hour and a half doing my hair and I'm sweating. This is cut my blow dry time to 20 minutes. For me that is very quick. The fact that I can just blow dry my hair really quick and I end up with sleek hair, this has never happened to me never in my entire life so this is a complete game changer for me. I also use it on my daughter and I blow dry her hair in like 5 to 10 minutes."

It's just been approved in Australia, but I'm very excited because I have been using it and I love it. "This is from One Skin. It's their OS1 face SPF. This is the tinted mineral version. I tend to not love mineral sunscreens, but I really love this one. It is SPF 30 plus. You know, I love an SPF 50 plus mostly, but I find this one to be really comfortable and I'm going to be inside most of the day, so I'm okay with the SPF 30. Plus, it's so wearable. It has a peptide in it that fights senescent cells and I just really like that concept a lot. Look at how beautiful this goes on. They have three different tints. This one is my favorite. Look at how pretty. Sunscreen is so important. Having really beautiful looking skin is also important. And it's just so nice. I hope they make a SPF 50 version of this because it is great. And I don't know too many sunscreens that have peptides in them. Not like anti-aging peptides."
"I've been loving this one, it's from Iris and Romeo, it's their Weekend Skin SPF50+ with Vitamin C and Glow. This is their Warm Glow shade and I've been liking it a lot. I do tend to use a tinted sunscreen when I go to the gym just because I feel like I just want to look a little bit refreshed when I go to the gym. What I do before the gym is splash my face with some water, I throw my sunscreen on and then I'll curl my lashes and do my brows, like put a little brow gel into my brows and then I'll put on a lip balm. That's it. This warmth that you're seeing to my skin, it's so pretty."
"I really like the texture of this, like the finish of this. Originally I kind of didn't want to use it because it says that it's like a more of a matte finish and I thought oh I'm not going to like that, I don't like a matte finish, I like to look glowy, and it just, it's so easy to use. It has this like natural finish instead. I feel like matte wasn't the right word to describe this. It glides on so easily, it's so easy to use and it looks good. When I'm actually applying it I blend it with like a brush after I swipe it, it's just so easy, it makes putting on your foundation really fast and really easy. I like the texture of it and it blends easily. I don't think it settles into my pores, it doesn't settle into my lines and it looks natural. I actually don't feel like I have to wear much powder after I use it too, so again that natural finish that it gives. I just like this a lot, it is so so so nice. If you like a natural looking foundation and you want it to be easy and you like a foundation stick, I think you'll like this because it's really straightforward. It gives enough coverage but it can also look really natural or more coverage."
"I like this one on days where I don't want to feel too greasy. I do live in Miami so sometimes it's so humid that I do skip the moisturizer step and this one is a perfect one for me because even though it feels like a nice rich lotion because it has ingredients like ceramides in it to restore and replenish your skin and support your skin barrier, it does dry down to a more natural finish on your skin so I don't feel like I look really greasy or that I've layered on too much when I use this one."
"This is the second bottle of this that I've gone through. This is the Garnier Anti-Dark Spots and Anti-Pollution Super UV SPF50 Fluid, another European sunscreen. The other two that I talked about were Korean sunscreens, so you can get the Korean sunscreens pretty easily online, but this one is limited to Europe, UK. That's usually where I pick up these kinds of sunscreens. I enjoyed this one, don't enjoy it as much as the ISDIN, not as much, but I like this. It's nice and light and fluid and great to wear on top of your skincare routine if you want something that's light."
"It's my favorite sunscreen. It's very oil-based which I love, and it's nice getting it on your neck and your chest. It's a mineral sunscreen, SPF 40, it has a slight tint to it, it has some vitamin C in it. It's really nice, like an all-in-one, encapsulating kind of thing, a serum and sunscreen combo. Even though it's water-free so you'd imagine it has a heavy texture, it's actually lighter. They've got shea butter in there that gives it a very light texture, and one of the first ingredients is a blurring, almost oil-absorbing polymer, so I'm imagining that's why it feels light."

It is more pigmented than I like to use on a regular basis though. It's full-on pigmented, medium coverage, it's in the foundation category. "This is a very interesting sunscreen because I wish that brands would make them so that they seamlessly incorporate into your skincare routine. Of course people don't want to wear their sunscreen regularly if it doesn't feel comfortable and doesn't feel like a normal part of their routine. There's just such nice skincare ingredients in here in general. It can be really confusing when you hear the name serum, I think a lot of people think that it should go on as a serum step, a reminder, sunscreen goes on as the last step in your skincare routine. They call it a serum because of the texture of it, you can see it's this really nice liquidy texture. It does not leave a white cast, it's very nice and soothing on your skin. Even though it feels nice and thin and light, it has ceramides in it, niacinamide in it, colloidal oatmeal, peptides, there are just so many nice ingredients in here. ZitSticka to me is also a brand that really focuses on people that deal with acne issues, so I feel like they really took that into account as well when they were formulating this product. Again, it's got that serum feel and it's also very soothing for the skin, even for sensitive skin, so they're really taking into account all the people who are on all these strong prescriptions and products and stuff that can really make your skin feel sensitive. So this one is really nice on the skin. I find that I still need a separate moisturizer underneath it, but I have dry skin, but for some people you might feel like this is also moisturizing enough."
"This is the EltaMD UV Clear Broad Spectrum SPF 46 facial sunscreen. This one has chemical filters in it but I love it because it has a really beautiful light tint to it. If I need to reapply my sunscreen while I'm out I like to go for this one because I'm essentially putting like more makeup on my face. It's one of those things where if I'm wearing blush or something like that it's gonna pretty much cover it up but I don't really care because it gives me a little bit of color, it gives me a glow and it looks really pretty. So this is what I use to reapply a lot of the time."

"What it does is it gives you a little bit more UV protection to your skin but it's more from the inside out, which is very interesting. It doesn't mean that you don't have to wear sunscreen, but if you're like me and you have melasma or if you're somebody who has something like lupus or autoimmune diseases that can really make your skin sensitive to the sun, this is a really interesting ingredient and product to add into your life as a supplement because you're just getting that added protection. It's like UV protection from the inside out and then you obviously have your sunscreen that you put on top of your skin and also any of the other products like hats and stuff that you're using to protect your skin. "This one from EltaMD, their UV Restore Broad Spectrum SPF 40. The reason why I like this is because it's tinted. The tint is the perfect color for me, though I know for some people it might be too orangey or too dark, and for others it's too light. [...] They also have it not tinted though, so if you want to try it out, it also comes in an untinted version. The other reason why I like this one is because it has squalane in it, so you get this moisturizing feel to it as well. It's very nourishing for the skin and it gives you a very dewy look. [...] The other reason I like it is because it has THD ascorbic in it, which is a vitamin C derivative. Having that in there really helps it become a better sunscreen because vitamin C is a strong antioxidant, and together with the sunscreen filters it just really helps protect your skin. They work well together, they work better together."
"The Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protector Lotion SPF 50 feels really nice and mattifying on your skin. It's actually gorgeous to put on. I take that with me on vacations, I put that in my bag like that is my go-to for outdoor water resistant, if I'm sweating sunscreen. I love that one."
"It has this green tone to it and it has SPF, and we can never get too much SPF. [...] I put it around my nose where I naturally get redness, and it tones that down, [...] that color changes, and then you put your makeup on top of it and you end up looking so much better, it's really nice. "This is the Naturium Dew Glow Tinted Moisturizer SPF 50 and I love that you have the mini, yes I love the minis I keep them in my purse I keep them in my kit they're just the best. I love this for skin prep, it just goes on the skin so nicely. It's right in between rich and light which I like, it's right in between so it really hydrates the skin and gives such a beautiful slip to anything that I put over it. People ask me does it have flashback, no it doesn't have flashback because it has SPF, it's the moisturizer so you're not really going to see that through the makeup."
"I want to purchase the Kosas DreamBeam sunscreen. It's basically like a more golden iridescent luminescent sunscreen shade, still SPF 40, and it has peptides and ceramides in it. It just looks really pretty, it looks like it's right up my alley. I don't know if it's good at all. I personally like the original formula, I thought it made my skin look really glowy underneath makeup and I feel like it set really well for me. But I've also heard from people that they do not enjoy this sunscreen. I think sunscreen is a very personal choice, very dependent on your own skin type and everything that you're kind of going for, the kind of finish that you want with a sunscreen. I have not tried it yet, and if I'm being honest, I probably have this one coming to me in PR. I have not personally tried it yet, but if I don't get it, I will go purchase this one. It just looks interesting to me."
"This one from Apostrophe is a hybrid sunscreen with a moisturizing texture. [...] It will moisturize your skin and it will protect your skin with an SPF 43. This is fragrance free, it's safe for sensitive skin and acne prone skin, it's hydrating. [...] It has zinc oxide in it, which is mineral, and then it has octanoate and octisalate in it. It's a really beautiful sunscreen that you can use for most skin types, but I like to show this one because it is super moisturizing as well, so you can put it onto your face and skip the moisturizer altogether."
"There are biofermented powders in it that give it that nice soft focus semi-matte kind of natural look to your skin. It also just kind of gives you this filtered look to your skin. There's always a possibility of pilling whenever you're dealing with powders in a sunscreen, but we really try to get ahead of that as much as we possibly could while using powders in a sunscreen, so I think we achieved that really nicely. The thing I'm most proud of is the texture of this sunscreen. I feel like this is a sunscreen that everybody could really love. If you do have oily skin or combination skin you can use it on its own, maybe over a hydrating serum or a vitamin C serum. If you have dry skin like me, just do your full skincare routine, finish with your moisturizer, then apply this on top and it just feels super light on your skin. It has this really nice plush serum texture to it that I just think is very unique. You can't even imagine when you're applying it that it will dry down to a soft matte finish, but it does. You have to give it a few seconds, maybe a minute, which I let my sunscreens dry down that much anyway before I apply anything else, and then you realize it just gives you this beautiful natural look to your skin and it feels like you're not wearing anything."
"Bondi Sands has this SPF 50 sunscreen lotion for the body. I've seen a lot of people say that they just buy this because they love it so much. What I have found is that this is really moisturizing as well and it feels really great. I do find it to be a little bit richer, so if you have dry skin you might love just using the body one for your face and your body, but if you have oily skin you might want to stick with the face one and use the body one strictly for the body, but it feels really nice and light too. It's very moisturizing. I do like to let it set for a little bit before I go in with my makeup just so it forms that nice perfect layer. Really give this a try if you like a dewy finish for your sunscreen, if you like to have a moisturizing sunscreen, this is it. It's only like ten dollars and you can get it at Walgreens."
"I'm going in with Ntorium Cleansing Gel 3%. This is a travel size. You can get it at Target. It's really great to have with you because it lasts a long time in my opinion."
"I love a good pore strip. I think that people have demonized them for so long just because they don't have a good understanding of what they are. The ones that I particularly like are from Biore. I think until recently they had the OG and they've had a patent on the technology until the last few years. When you wet it, it polarizes and it actually attracts the pore contents as opposed to some other methods like those old peel off masks that are just acting like an adhesive and can be a little bit more damaging to the skin. I don't think that they're the be all end all of having nice refined pores, but I do think that they can be helpful, especially if somebody's at the beginning of their skincare journey and they want a quick fix that's going to improve the appearance of their pores quickly. I still use them."
"This is the Yam Root Vegan Milk Cleanser. This is a really easy to use cream cleanser. I like cream cleansers. I feel like sometimes we think we need to strip our skin when we get clogged pores, but sometimes I feel like it's the opposite. We need to nourish our skin. It's really nice and gentle. One of the main ingredients in here is actually sunflower seed oil. So linoleic acid rich oil helps to unclog the pores, nourishes your skin at the same time. It's just a really good one. So highly recommend it. You could actually use this as your first and your second cleanse, like put it on to dry skin first and then go in a second time on wet skin. And I bet you it would take off a decent amount of glam. Like if you had full-blown glam, maybe not, but light sunscreen, tinted sunscreen, that kind of a stitch, better do the job."
"I've been really liking this cleansing oil because it has a ceramide, ceramide NP, but it also has primrose oil in it. And I think primrose oil is underrated. It's not used too much in skincare and it's one of those kinds of oils that I just really like because it's not super heavy. I think this is a really great cleanser for a morning skincare routine because of this really interesting property that it has. It has a high percentage of squalane in it. Squalane is one of those oils that all skin types can benefit from. "My first suggestion is from Dr. Sam Ellis's line, Prequel. It's called Gentle Cleanser, meaning that it's a cleanser with lots of glycerin in it. I think it's a super cute name. This is a really great cleanser for most skin types, but what makes it especially great for people with dry skin is that it has this 50% glycerin in it. When you use high percentages of glycerin, not only is it really hydrating for your skin, but it's been shown to actually help improve your skin barrier. "A 2% Salicylic Acid Cleanser is a really great way to get exfoliation if you have any clogged pores. Salicylic acid is a wonderful ingredient for that because it actually breaks down pores and it even helps to balance out your oil production. In a cleanser form like this it's really gentle on your skin because you are rinsing it off. It's doing its job and then it's being rinsed off, so it's not going to have this long-term effect of continuously exfoliating your skin. "I've heard that Mario Badescu did update some of their old formulas so they might be pretty good and this Cleansing Oil doesn't look bad. I think it's interesting because on the website it's like this is a cleanser makeup remover all-in-one but I'm looking at these ingredients and I'm like these emulsifiers they're using I don't think they're going to, it's going to leave a film on your skin. I would still recommend a second cleanse. Almost all oil-based cleansers I would say you're better off using it as a first cleanse with a water-based cleanser second cleanse. Makeup, most of the waterproof ingredients that make makeup stay on long are very easily dissolved in oil not water. Surfactants in a water-based cleanser are going to help pull off some oil but I think it's nice to help dissolve it first to make it easier to pull off with your second cleanser. It's only $16 so I think it's a good one. With the polyglycerol 10 diolate and all of the surfactants they're using are polyglycerol I find that PEGs in my experience with cleansing make the product like leave less of that film. I would almost expect looking at this again I definitely think you need a second cleanse."

"This is actually a really good way to help unclog your pores. One of the other things I like about this is that it feels really nice and luxurious when you pump it into your hand, you can feel it's like a really nice thick kind of texture to it. Some cleansing oils are really thin, they don't feel very luxurious and they don't really melt down well on your skin when you apply them and start to massage them. This is like a massage oil, it feels so luxurious when you put it onto your skin. Everything starts to melt down immediately and it emulsifies really beautifully and it rinses beautifully. Another test for me is how it feels around my eyes, there is no stinging around the eyes, it did not make my eyes feel blurry. Of course that's very personal for a lot of people, but for me it was perfect. It really does a great job as a first cleanse."
"I have my niacinamide cleansing gel three percent which is actually my favorite one to keep in the shower. I know that I'm gonna be able to get all of my makeup off if I need to with this cleanser. "This is the L'Oreal skin tint. I do love this formula, but unfortunately L'Oreal didn't invest in a wiper. Usually when you have a dropper like this you will have a wiper, and the wiper's purpose is to actually wipe down the excess formula from around the applicator so you don't get this mess. L'Oreal did not invest in a wiper, and as such there's a huge amount of product collecting on the applicator itself and therefore spilling out around the bottle neck. I get so frustrated with this type of packaging. Either invest in a wiper, they literally cost a couple cents, or perhaps consider a pump. I know a lot of consumers love this product, but they say a dropper is just such a hindrance to using it on a daily basis."

"This has been probably our top foundation for so long, so many years. I've used this on everyone because I know exactly what I'm getting with this foundation. I know what it's going to look like on camera, I know how it's going to wear, I know how it's going to interact with most skin types. "I used to use this concealer all the time long ago and I was always mixed on it. I [...] love full coverage so you'd think that would have aligned with what my aesthetic was, but it just didn't do it for me. I didn't like the applicator, that thick dop. [...] What I really hate about that product is they're so messy. The dop foot has a wiper inside that never really wiped off enough product, so you'd end up with a massive amount of concealer on the dop foot. It would also get and start to run along the side of the container and leak, and then when you'd put the cap back on and twist it, it would squeeze out and create such a mess. "I hate this concealer. It's so thick and gelatinous and tacky, like clay goop on your under eyes. And forget about trying to set it, it doesn't set. It's like trying to set wet Play-Doh. When I first tried this I was obsessed, so much coverage, so moisturizing, and then you start to try other concealers and you realize like this is a mess. It's messy to use, it's messy to blend, and I'm willing to bet half the people using it don't even realize it's causing creasing and accentuating their fine lines and wrinkles because it's so thick. The one technique that actually did help it look better was to warm it up between your fingers, really warm up a thin small amount and then tap it in. You would have to use so little but it would last you years. I rate it a 2.5. If I can't set something it's miserable."
"I love it. I am a concealer freak, if there's one thing I will shop for and like load my kit up with, it's concealers. I love concealers. This one is stunning. It literally is the title, like it does not disappoint. It is a faux filter for under your eyes, beautiful coverage, lays beautifully under your eyes. It actually feels really lightweight too for being more of a full coverage concealer. It feels like nothing, really feels really nice and like hydrating and just like creamy on your skin. It doesn't feel like cakey, doesn't look cakey. It's nearly impossible to mess up the application of it in my opinion, unless you like really overdo it and apply way too much. I recommend this because I think it's just stunning. I don't know why more people aren't like running to pick it up."
"I don't love stick concealers at all under the eyes because nine times out of ten they're gonna look really heavy and they're gonna look really cakey. I like a liquid formula because you just have more control. You can manipulate it way more, you can shear it out, you can really buff it out, you can make it disappear basically, whereas creams, it's just a thick cream formula, and in that delicate area they just tend to look way way more obvious and they can also settle into fine lines so much quicker, even if you set it. My experience with stick concealers under the eyes is that they're chalky, patchy, cakey. We have so much constant movement under eyes, we have so much expression, this part of our face moves constantly throughout the day, so if you put something too thick there, the chances of it creasing and just looking really bad is so likely. I avoid it under the eye. Those are great for spot concealing, like a pimple or a scar that someone wants covered, but under the eyes I would skip it."

"I'm first gonna go in with the Nars color corrector, the red counteracts the blue. And I wish she would have pulled it out and instead of putting all that foundation under her eye, she should have just ignored the under eye completely, just put the color corrector down properly, and then she could go on with a very thin layer just to smooth out any edges and then go in with the concealer. Instead she's putting that color corrector on top of a foundation color and that's just not going to work well, you're going to end up with a muddy effect."

"This is the Hollywood Flawless Filter. There's been so many dupes of this one, [...] but it's just great on those high points, just in small high points. Not everywhere, but just a little bit because it not only gives glow, which we love, but it actually blurs and smooths the skin a little bit. So I use it on these little areas and you don't have to put it on the whole face, just the high points. I like to use quite minimal of it. When you're going to a big glam event, there's flash photography, there might be heaps of people in the room, meaning you might get a bit flustered. You know, warm environment. Sometimes you don't want to overglow your skin. So just very minimal, really small concentrated dots of glow is actually enough. Don't overglow your face."
"Charlotte Tilbury again. It's matte, blurring, smoothie. My three words I love in complexion. You really have to kind of drench it. [...] You really have to set set and then fan. It'll absorb into the skin and it will keep it fresh for 16 hours."
"My Fenty Beauty Invisimatte. You can say I love it because it's so finely milled probably. It's such a fine powder, it doesn't cake up. But the minute you do that under the eye and the minute you do under the cheekbone to kind of sculpt, and the minute you do just here, that side of the face just seems a little bit more polished now than that side because you can see shine and glow. We love shine and glow, but camera flashes and everything, too glowy. And now it's all just perfected. I also love getting a smaller little brush and using the same powder right under where your eyeshadow or your eyeliner finishes. It's a bit of a brightener so it kind of gives a contrast, like how crazy snatched you are, but also any residue from the eyeliner, shadow, bit of moisture, nothing will transfer down to your under-eye area. So it's like a little bit of a protector and also a snatcher."

"I especially love this contour stick. It's not super dewy when you put it on, which I like because it is easy to blend and then it just sets perfectly. What I found is if you blend it too much with a brush it seems like it almost disappears, but if you just kind of tap it and especially tap the edges of it then it just looks really perfect and seamless on your skin and it gives you this kind of satin finish. So it's a really nice product to use for contouring and it's the right kind of brown tone. Also it's got that cool tone to it instead of that orangey brown bronzer tone. There's a really big difference in my opinion between wearing like a contour stick that has that cool tone versus that bronzer color that feels a little bit warm."
"I have completely switched over from all the other eye drops like Visine to Lumify, completely. Lumify is a little bit better because it uses a completely different chemical to take the redness out of your eyes. I like it, it lasts up to eight hours. I don't use it daily, usually just when I'm going to be recording all day and I wake up with bloodshot eyes. I've been really into it, I've completely switched over."
"This is their Snail Mucin Eye Cream. [...] First off, it's this really pretty blue color, but I love that it feels nice and soothing and cooling because of this tip that it has on there. And it also has these really great plumping ingredients. One of those ingredients is volupalene, which is one of those ingredients that you see floating around a lot online because it's supposed to mimic a filler. No topical will ever mimic something that can be injected, but it just means that it's very plumping and hydrating to the skin, and it's supposed to be a great ingredient for this. And [...] this also has caffeine in it, which I think is always an incredible ingredient for under the eyes. And it has some brightening ingredients, too. But caffeine's great because it helps to just tighten up that area underneath your eyes."
"This is estriol 1%. It's an estrogen cream basically from Alloy and it's a prescription eye cream. I have been using this on my under eye area and I like it. It's very moisturizing. It's a nice formula. It feels good. It's a really nice moisturizer that's been formulated for your eye area with your eye area in mind. But sometimes these ingredients can be helpful in other places."

"This is the most sensitive part of the face, so I know my eye cream needs to be really good. There are a couple ingredients in here that I really like. They're using a very hydrating complex. The Met Rian gum is like a really unique natural polymer that in a product can help with hydration slowly, and I really like that for an eye cream. They also have this energizing complex that has been shown in testing to have really good wrinkle filling, just like a plumping benefit. I saw that it's also used for the Vermillion line, and that's one of the only ingredients I've seen that has activity for vertical lines and stuff, so I think it's good. One of the best products being used, and I think if you're going to go and buy an Augustinus Bader skincare product, this might be the one I would do."
"The other one that I like as well is a little bit thicker so I'll use this for like my really dry under eye clients, it's the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Eye Cream. Little goes a long way just like with all eye creams you don't want to go crazy with it, just tap it in. You want to push it and press it in and depending on the client that I'm working with or the situation, if they still need some extra deep puffing that I can see, applying that extra bit of pressure to push that eye cream in is a really soothing and it really does help to actually depuff even more."
"The Dr. Dennis Gross Advanced Retinol Plus Ferulic Triple Correction Eye Serum is one that I've personally used for years. It has an encapsulated retinol in it, so this makes it a little bit better tolerated for the sensitive under eye area because this retinol is released over time rather than all at once. This formulation also has antioxidants like ferulic acid and ubiquinone, which is actually present in our skin but is degraded by environmental factors. It also has licorice root, which is known for its ability to target hyperpigmentation, plus some gentle exfoliation to brighten the under eye area."
"I love that he went in with those. I do eye masks before I get on camera because it really does help to soothe and de-puff your face. If you're dealing with anything like any fine lines or wrinkles or anything you will benefit so much from locking that hydration in because it'll just temporarily lock everything in and then plump it in turn so then you just look like you've got fuller skin, like your skin looks like it's fuller."
"It's a little bit like a very light concealer, it's not a full-blown concealer. It gives you just enough coverage that it can hide some dark circles. If you have just some very light dark circles, it brightens your under eye area. It just makes your skin look really nice and flawless looking in the areas that you use it. I personally like to use it on days where I'm going for a no makeup makeup look because I don't even have to set it. "This is the Resurrection Radiance Eye Cream from True Botanicals and this stuff is amazing. It has turmeric in it so it has this like yellowish kind of tint to it and I love the way it makes my under eyes look. I use this almost every single day now underneath my makeup and it just gives me this beautiful kind of look to my under eyes. This is one of those products where you see like an immediate difference with your under eye area just because it has that pigment to it. I have so many different eye creams that are supposed to be like brightening for the under eye area and stuff and I feel like this one really actually does that. It gives you that immediate brightness to your eyes. It also just happens to have some really great ingredients like coffee seed extract in here which is great for your under eye area to help de-puff at least temporarily. It also has camellia sinensis in here which is just really soothing for the skin and great for the under eye area. There's licorice root extract, again really great for the under eye area, it's very soothing for the skin, it helps with that like hyperpigmentation and stuff that you might have under your eyes, and then there's apparently this tree bark extract in here that is also just really great for de-puffing your eye area. I have been using this so much more than I expected. At this point, even though it's newer to me, I could actually confidently say that this has become a regular part of my skincare routine."
"I'm really following in love with is the Naturium Vitamin K Brightening Eye Cream and I really encourage guys to look at this product because I think the pigments would scare you at first, you know, am I wearing concealer like it, and it's not the case at all. It really just adds like a slight brightness that really helps with dark circles and I just think it's like such, I've seen such a difference even in the days I'm not using it because I've consistently used it, and that's like years of using eye creams but never really having that visible results, and so I'm obsessed with this product right now."
"I love peel pads like the Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Peel. I've been using that for a long time, over a decade at this point. I always kind of go back to that. [...] If you want that manual exfoliation, I'm all about a peel pad. I would just try it out like once or twice a week to start and then move into as many times a week as you can."
"I love these so so much. They make a really great gift. [...] Anytime I want my skin to just look and feel more hydrated, especially if it feels like it's dull and dry, I'll use one of these. "For some really mild exfoliation, I'm going to use this Ground Rice and Honey Glow Mask from Beauty of Joseon. I've only used it once. It has a little bit of that physical exfoliation because it has that rice powder in it, but it's not strong at all. Like, it feels very very gentle and because of the honey, it's super soothing and moisturizing to the skin. It's nourishing to the skin. It kind of smells good, too. The main ingredient in here is like a byproduct of rice water. So, it's supposed to be really good for your skin just in general. You can see there's little granules in it, but they don't feel strong at all. This is not a scrub. After I rinsed three times, I do not feel like I stripped my skin. Face is really clean, but it still feels nice and nourished. That is the key."
"I do love the ordinary that peeling solution which is 2% BHA 30% AHA but it scares me. I don't think it would suit your skin if you're sensitive. I mean, I don't put any, I get my perioral dermatitis here so I just can't put it there."
"I did eventually buy the BioDance one because I was so impressed with the Sun Boon one and it's just not as good. It's a little bit thinner. It almost feels like you have to wear a lot of product underneath it whereas the Sun Boon one is already really juicy when you put it on and then it stays kind of juicy as you wear it versus the BioDance one that just kind of, I don't know. I thought I was going to like it more because it has like the galactomyces in it and everything that brightens your skin. I just didn't. I didn't have that same effect after I wore it overnight. Not as into this."
"I love the texture of it, it's super light. It has these little encapsulated bubbles in it that release the hydration onto your skin as you apply it. It feels nice on your skin. I put this on as the last step in my skincare routine at night time and then I wake up with really nice hydrated plump skin. It smells pretty. I think it feels a little bit thicker than the OG sleeping mask because that one's more like a gel and this one is gel-like but it has a slightly thicker texture, just slightly, but it's nice. "Before I dry my face I actually need to do a double cleanse so I use the special gel thing and what I like to do is I'll get the gel and then also get the microfoliant and then I'll pop it in, I'll make like a little thing and then I'll make sure I have wet hands and wet skin and then mix it together. You just have to get used to the sensation of having wet colors, it's kind of gross but it works. I actually do want to mix my microfoliant with just any cleanser, a gel cleanser. I think I'm gonna mix it with a gel cleanser and see what happens."
"The Tatcha Rice Polish is one of the best products that Tatcha has out on the market. It is super foamy and creamy. The enzymes that are in the powder are gently exfoliating your skin. You're not going to get as strong of exfoliation as you get with typical AHAs or salicylic acid or anything like that, it's very gentle. Most skin types can tolerate that. The Tatcha Rice Polish is very gentle."
"They have salicylic acid, glycolic acid, and niacinamide, which is a really great combination of effective ingredients. It's a very necessary product that I'm surprised we don't see a lot more of on the market. These pads are great because they're nice and large, they feel really good on the skin, and they don't feel like they're stripping on the skin either. If you have smudge sunless tanner with that streaky look, you can just take the pad and rub it over that area, and the more you use it you can really quickly get rid of that smudge look. They're really key for people that use a lot of sunless tanner like I do, but they're also great if you have KP on the back of your arms or if you want to reduce any kinds of ingrown hairs, because you can really target those areas that you want to focus on."
"Another Kate Somerville product that is kind of like the OG for me when it comes to exfoliating is this Kate Somerville ExfoliKate. This uses different fruit enzymes to exfoliate your skin, but it mainly uses lactic acid as one of the main ingredients to exfoliate your skin, and it really, I mean you see a difference in your skin the minute you use it. It also has a physical exfoliation as well. If you have melasma and hyperpigmentation, just be very aware that you don't want to overdo it with your skin because if you're causing irritation, you're then causing melasma and hyperpigmentation. It can trigger all of that, so just be very careful when you're using any of these exfoliating types of products. But this is one of the originals for me and one of the first products that I really started to love lactic acid in."
"It's thick but as you put it onto your skin that glow that you first get starts to kind of mattify a little bit and it just starts to feel really silky on your skin and you wake up with hydrated plumper skin that's really calm. It really helps to soothe that redness in your skin too but it doesn't feel goopy. You just feel hydrated, you feel like your skin is like tighter or something. I don't know how to explain it, it's a really nice sleep mask."
"I like Altreno. Do you know about Altreno? You know all my derm friends tell me to do it and then I never get on it cuz I'm scared. It's a brand name tretinoin. It's a lotion instead of a cream and it's formulated with collagen, glycerin, hyaluronic acid, I think some really great ingredients. So it's just a little bit more gentle."
"I got it from SkinFix, it's their Barrier+ EXO+ Ectoin Intensive Repair Balm, and it has this really interesting pump. It's like a lighter balm than a petrolatum balm and I think it feels really nice, especially here in Miami where it's been so humid. The weather's been so weird, it's been humid and yet slightly cold, so this is a nice balm to apply. It doesn't feel too heavy, it's like a thick moisturizer. I like this product a lot."

"I think this is innovative because I haven't seen 0.2% right now on the market yet. [...] I do think this is really innovative because it is not irritating at all and I really like how gentle it is even though it is very strong in terms of efficacy but it doesn't feel irritating on the skin and it's a nice milky formula. [...] What I like about this is some retinal serums that I've tried don't feel hydrating, it just kind of feels very [...] waxy sometimes, [...] and then this one doesn't feel super waxy it feels hydrating and moisturizing at the same time. This one would be good to add into your skincare routine. This is what I go to when I feel like I want to use a retinoid but I'm scared."
"This is the Verso Super Facial Serum with Retinol 8. I have loved this since the first time I ever tried it. This is the retinoid that convinced me to be consistent with using retinoids. I love this stuff. When I want to go back to very gentle retinoids, I come back to this. It's a go-to for me."
"Going up a little bit in price but I still think is a really great value is the one percent Retinol in Squalane. This one's really cool to me because it has a combination of retinaldehyde and also an encapsulated retinol so you've got the A retinol and the O retinol combined together. It also just feels like a nice light serum and it has some really nice light soothing ingredients in it. I just feel like if you are trying to get more bang for your buck you might want to try something like that that combines the two different types of retinoids."
"Stradia Skin just in general does a really good job with their skincare products and they also have a really nice retinol cream called Night Shift. It has 0.15 encapsulated retinol in it. It's super creamy and has a really nice texture to it. It also has a couple of ingredients that are really nice to soothe and nourish your skin, which is especially great when you're using a retinoid. They have a ceramide in it that helps to just keep your skin barrier intact, and then there's also centella asiatica which has just really great studies in helping to soothe your skin."
"I've tried everything to get my skin used to tretinoin and I just cannot tolerate too much of it, it's just too strong for me. I used the Crystal Retinol 3 from this brand and I loved it, I was able to use it like three, four times a week without any issues. Now I've graduated to the sixth version and I can tell you already I tried to bump it to more than two times a week and my skin got really sensitive to it, but it's still less sensitive than I get with tretinoin. So I'm gonna still try to really make my way through this because I want retinaldehyde to work so badly for my skin because it is such an awesome ingredient."
"This is the retinaldehyde cream serum 0.5%. I stick with 0.5% because it's the one I can use on a regular basis like every single night without irritation. To me it's better to be on a lower percentage and then be able to use it more consistently than to try to amp it up and then only use it every other day or every two days. So if you're newer to retinol and retinoids in general, then this might be a good way to introduce retinol into your life."
"It's probably one of my most purchased skincare products. It gives me such a beautiful natural glow, like a tone, like a warm tone to my skin. It's so easy to use. When it comes to sunless tanner, I love sunless tanner, but I feel like I have to work my way up to doing my sunless tanner. I have to be in the mood, I have to have that time set aside, I have to go through my whole routine where in the shower I do my everything shower, I'm super exfoliated, I get out, I'm super moisturized. But when it comes to the Tan Luxe serum, so easy to use. It's in my skincare routine at all times, and this is probably why I go through so many bottles of it. It travels with me. It's just so good, it's so so good. But it's $49. It's actually one of the most painful purchases that I make because I love it so much but I also think it's really expensive, and so I have such a hard time parting with that money buying this product."
"It's a really great ingredient because you're getting that benefit of the hydration but also the exfoliation, but on top of that it has salicylic acid in it, it has malic acid which is an AHA that's also really great for hydrating your skin, and it has petrolatum in it so it's nice and thick and really helps to lock in any kind of hydration and moisture on your skin. It is a fantastic foot cream. It has all the ingredients that you really should be using to tackle dry spots and patchiness and rough spots basically when it comes to your feet."

"This is the Naturium Biolipid Restoring Body Lotion. My husband and my kids go through this so much more than I do, but I do go through [...] a good amount of this as well. I love this stuff. It's nourishing for your skin, it's buttery, and it does not leave your skin feeling greasy. When I travel, the travel size tubes are so good. "First up is one of my holy grails. I've been using this for years and recommending it for years, it's the Dr.G R.E.D Blemish Kombucha Tea Essence. This has really nice antioxidants in it, it has that kombucha tea extract, it also has green tea in it, but because it has this fermentation it also has probiotics for your skin. And while I'm still not completely convinced that probiotics in your topical products can actually balance out your microbiome, we do know that probiotics are really great to help with dry skin, and that's especially what I like about this product. It's also just a fun product to use, it's a base essence meaning that you'll see two different layers in the bottle and you shake it up and then you pour it onto your hands and you pat it onto your skin, and it just makes your skin feel so juicy and hydrated. It's a wonderful product, I love it so much and I talk about it all the time."
"I really like using the Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater. It's a really good way of just keeping me feel refreshed throughout the day, especially if I'm somewhere really hot. It's nice, calming, hydrating for your skin. Put that on before you're going in with your other steps, it's so nice to hydrate your skin, and then you go and lock it in by using a little bit more moisturizer too."
"This is like holy grail status for me. [...] It's the Dr. Ceuracle Vegan Kombucha Tea Essence. It's a bi-phase formula, meaning it has two different phases in the formula. [...] It has soothing ingredients like chamomile and anise in it. [...] The texture is really nice and soothing. It is a toner for your skin or like an essence, but it also slightly just very slightly moisturizes your skin. I like to put this on right before I do an LED mask because I can't just go from cleansing my skin and letting it dry out to using an LED mask, but I do like to use my toners first."
"SK-II is so expensive, it's so amazing, but it's so expensive. The SK-II essence is a nice product. It is expensive, but there's no doubt that it definitely makes your skin look clearer and it feels more nourished. It's one of the OG's and it really has helped a lot of people with their skin. Can you get something a little bit cheaper for sure? Something that's just as effective? Absolutely. An SK-II bottle lasts me forever, so yes it's expensive, but I think it's more worth it than some other products."

There's also even caffeine, so it helps to just make your skin look like it's de-puffed and smoother and beautiful. "I love the current body ones because they fit. They actually did like a redo of the mask. So, the mask fits a lot better and closer to your face. And then they have a neck one that I really love. It's like more of a matte and I think that it's great. I can confirm that I love that one and that's what I use the most. I use the face and the neck and chest one."
"The device that I use the absolute most of all of them is my CurrentBody face and neck LED mask, the red LED mask. I use both of those so much throughout the week, like I'm very very consistent. If you are looking for an LED device, I think using a face mask is by far the easiest and most convenient to use and you're going to see really great results from it. I'd much rather use a mask that is going to completely cover my face as a whole and I don't have to move it so it's getting the same amount of time of the LED lights on my skin all at one time. The other reason why I like a mask is because it sits close to your face, because that's really important. You want to get as close to your skin as possible so you can actually get that penetration from the LED lights. LED light therapy is really beneficial if you want to stimulate collagen production. For me, what I especially love is the fact that it helps to calm inflammation in your skin. If you are prone to inflammation that can eventually lead to melasma, for instance, then you'll really enjoy using LED lights as well. It's also been said that LED therapy can help reduce the size of broken capillaries, for instance, and it also just increases blood circulation."
"I've got such a small neck that it actually wraps around. It's got the LED panels here, LED panels across my chest. The reason why I keep going back to the CurrentBody LED neck and décolletage one is they fit all the wavelengths and everything that you want when it comes to an LED mask. CurrentBody has done a really good job of getting me a lot of information besides meeting the standard of what you want for your LED mask. They also have something called pillow technology that ensures that you're getting this distribution of the wavelengths and everything, the LED light. "I'm going to go in with this from First Aid Beauty. It's actually their Ingrown Hair Pads, but these are just exfoliating pads. [...] They have a mix of BHA and AHAs in it. So, it's great. [...] It's like a little bit of a bumpy side and then there's like a smooth side. So, you can kind of use the bumpy side if you're gentle. "Crown Affair for hair, I don't think there a day goes by that I don't use a Crown Affair product. The Leave-in Conditioner is like a moisturizer for my hair. I use it every day. "I've been using this for the last like 2 and a half, 3 months and I have seen such a huge difference when it comes to hair thinning. I have really thick hair, but up here in the front, ever since I had babies, my hair started getting a little bit more sparse. I started getting a lot of these baby hairs. You can use your essence slash toner right after you've cleansed. "I actually really like Vital Proteins. I love collagen and I love that there's more studies coming out that show that it does actually help to improve your skin. There's this interesting study where they found that when you drink hydrolyzed collagen, it kind of acts as a messenger molecule. It's not going straight to your skin and depositing it and it's not replacing collagen, it's just triggering potentially the synthesis of more collagen. I take the Vital Proteins collagen powder too and what I've noticed is it's not like I feel like it makes my skin look more plump, but I have issues with my shoulder and cartilage and that's actually why I started it. I was working out and I felt like I was just constantly sore, and I noticed the difference with the collagen powder. Maybe it's placebo but I noticed the difference."
"Acne Gel, throughout the day sometimes you know certain little pimples pop up and I want to make sure I take care of it, so it's important to do it at night. We only need a little drop of this, and so I normally have little areas of concern around my beard or maybe on my forehead, and so I make sure that the night before that I put a little Acne Gel on it. It's very, very important for me. [...] It's something that's very important before bed. [...] I would [...] assume that salicylic acid might be a little too harsh to use on a regular basis, so it makes a lot of sense to use this Acne Gel more as a spot treatment.
