So for people that want to come in get a snatched jawline, that's not going to work if I have a device that only goes 2 mm. For the body handpiece they have that goes 7 mm. They have a burst mode where it's like 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 to create that column of heat. RF with microneedling can offer benefits for most people. It's generally considered safe for all skin types."

"It's a machine that does all this fun stuff, tightens your skin, makes you look amazing. You have to get it three times. It is hands down the most painful thing I've ever done. I literally bawled my eyes out, hated the whole experience. My other friends that have gotten it, they look stunning, amazing, their skin looks so tight. When you overdose on something it causes diarrhea, it causes nausea, it causes headaches, dehydration. But when you micro dose it, it's not enough to take your hunger."

"I tried it and I liked it because I was getting a lot of migraines. It stayed about four months or so. For me with peroral dermatitis, and because of my melasma, I have noticed that anytime I get really red, like if I'm irritated, I have redness, or if I spent too much time at the gym, or if I was out in the sun, if I got really hot, I will keep a bottle of this. I also like spraying it on my back so I don't get breakouts. If you're going to use any antioxidants like retinoids or AHA, then you want to let it dry down before you go in with some of your other products. It's essentially like spraying bleach on your skin, so just keep that in mind. But I think this is just such a great type of product to have in your routine and in your bag, and it's like a catchall for so many different skin issues. If you're dealing with any redness like I do, that redness can lead to more melasma."

"I'm going to go in with the Prequel Universal Skin Solution Dermal Spray. This is hypochlorous acid. This is, I guess, kind of to rewet it. This isn't really a toner but you guys have heard me talk about how much I love this stuff. It's great for any redness. For me, I was dealing with my perioral dermatitis under here, which you can see is getting better. I like to let that dry down just because it can deactivate some of your other skincare products."

Both of them have an ingredient called polypodium leucotomos, which is an antioxidant ingredient that comes from a fern and it's been proven to help protect your skin from the sun, and I think that's amazing."

I tend to only use like one pump of this because I'm really only focusing it on the areas where I need it the most, and that's my cheeks and my nose. I also just really like the way theirs feels. There's a difference because if you're getting prescription treatments from your derm's office, sometimes they use compounding facilities and they give you these thick creams that feel like paste, and it's terrible."

It's the gold standard when it comes to dark spots. I deal with melasma and I decided this was really important. "Hydroquinone is the gold standard when it comes specifically to hyperpigmentation treatment. Hydroquinone works in a completely different way than tretinoin because this is a tyrosinase inhibitor. Tyrosinase is an enzyme you need to produce melanin in your skin, so you want to slow down that tyrosinase production so that you don't get the excess melanin production. Hydroquinone also decreases the amount of melanocytes present in your skin. Melanocytes are important because melanocytes produce melanin and if you remember what I said at the beginning melanin is what produces that pigment in your skin. This one is from Apostrophe, this is their hydroquinone 6% because this is prescription I tend to use it right before I'm going to get a treatment done like some kind of a laser or a chemical peel and also right after I've had that treatment done. It's very gentle and the best thing is when you're using these tyrosinase inhibiting ingredients like hydroquinone you can use it in conjunction with ingredients like your retinoids so then you get like this one two punch."

"Hydroquinone is just one of those ingredients that is unmatched if you want a tyrosinase inhibitor. This is the mama ingredient, this is the queen of all the tyrosinase inhibitors, this is the one that has the most studies behind it and that really shows the most impact when it comes to your hyperpigmentation. So if you really want to see results, hydroquinone is the ingredient that you have to go for. I use my hydroquinone on my skin to make sure I don't get any hyperpigmentation any PIH after my treatment was done on my skin. You do still need supervision from a professional from a Dermatology team because hydroquinone is not an ingredient that you want to just use continuously. Sometimes people experience an issue called ochronosis where their skin gets worse. But it's just so convenient that you can get online and get this prescription through Apostrophe."

"This is 6% hydroquinone and I make sure to focus it on the areas where my melasma really stands out. I have had hydroquinone prescribed to me before from a compounding pharmacy and it's usually this really terrible cream that's hard to use and incorporate into your skincare routine. This one from Apostrophe is very nice. The formula is light and hydrating. I can use other products after this and it won't feel too heavy. The reason I've been using hydroquinone is I've been in between getting clear and Brilliant treatments done. Whenever you've got something like melasma you're prone to getting hyperpigmentation, so it's really great to use a tyrosinase inhibitor to prevent those dark spots from forming, especially as you're getting these treatments done. It's kind of reinforcing the treatment because it's helping to get rid of your dark spots but it's also helping to prevent in case your skin gets too irritated from those treatments. I can't be on it indefinitely, but I'll probably stay on it while I'm in this cycle of getting these treatments done and it's been really wonderful for my skin. I've seen a lot of people say your melasma is looking so much better. Hydroquinone is the gold standard ingredient when it comes to preventing and getting rid of dark spots."

It's mailed to your house and it just helps you stay consistent. If you are consistent with your skincare routine and especially your prescription treatments, that's when you're going to see the best results because you have to stick with it. If you can have access to your prescription treatments, it is a game changer. I've been a big fan of Apostrophe. They make it really cool, the products look really cute, and they streamlined everything for you."

It has 15% ascorbic acid in it, it also has ferulic acid, so you get a little bit of that smell, but it's nowhere near as intense as the Skinceuticals one. It's very faint and it dissipates pretty quickly. Instead of vitamin E there's a different antioxidant that helps to not only keep the ascorbic acid more stable but it also helps your skin by providing more antioxidant benefits to it. There's niacinamide in here, there are so many other really nice ingredients in this serum. I just think it's great if you're looking for a traditional vitamin C serum. That said, it is at that lower pH level, so if you've experienced other classic traditional vitamin C serums and they irritated your skin, there's a chance that this one will, but it's such a good price, it's so affordable that it's always worth trying out."

You can use it morning or night. They're promoting that it helps with wrinkles and also helps with any kinds of dark spots or redness, so it seemed like they were promoting more of a product that helps with any kind of skin issue whether it comes to redness, dark spots, aging or wound healing. This is a much better experience that you're getting half of the product for about the same price. I've only been using it for about a week but my skin looks good."

"This is like a little tiny travel size of the Plated Intense Serum. I got this from my esthetician Amy Peterson in Miami. I've just been using it because last time I went through an entire bottle of this and I wasn't sure if I saw any results. The claim is that you see results from these exosomes. That's what this is. It's a little pricey. You're supposed to see results from the exosomes when you use it right after some kind of a treatment. So I did the cosmetic peel a week ago, and it's supposed to help calm the redness and help heal your skin a little bit faster and you're supposed to get more results."

"Hypochlorous acid is great for people who have reactive skin, it's antibacterial, antimicrobial, it's also just really soothing for the skin. This one's from Prequel, it's my favorite one out there, it's really affordable. I really just love the way it sprays, it's nice and soothing. I love using hypochlorous acid especially after I work out, like right after the gym when I'm not going directly into the shower, I spray this on and it helps you to just not break out. It is so nice, but I especially think it's great for post shave and when you cut yourself."

"There's nowhere on their website that says the technology is any different. In my opinion it's just more marketing. It seems like it's the same technology just different devices so that they can sell different devices to you. I did feel like my skincare products were penetrating my skin more, but what I didn't like about it is there isn't a lot of information on what it's really doing for your skin besides penetrating your skin more. Is it actually stimulating any collagen? The pamplet suggests you don't go up higher than a one or a two, but it goes up to like five speeds. If you go up higher and get close to your eye you can feel it kind of tweaks your eye out a little bit, so that gets me a little bit weirded out. How safe is it for your skin? The tests on it show that this worked on drugs so you can kind of make some guesses that this can transfer over to skincare products, but it's not always that simple. It's like more of a good concept. I used the device for about 30 days and felt like it did help my skincare products penetrate a little bit deeper, but it felt like a chore to use it mostly because it says you have to use it like five times a week to see the best results. The more you use it the better the results, and it just started to feel like a chore and I wasn't seeing enough of a difference. At some point I did feel like my skin felt irritated."

I used the device for about 30 days and I felt like it did help my skincare products penetrate a little bit deeper, but it felt like a chore to use it mostly because it says you have to use it like five times a week to see the best results. The more you use it, the better the results, and it just started to feel like a chore and I wasn't seeing enough of a difference. At some point I did feel like my skin felt irritated. I can't tell you if that was because maybe it was helping my skincare products absorb more and some of those products were things like retinoids, or if the device was actually irritating my skin. Once I removed the device from my skincare routine, my skin went back to normal after a few days. I don't really know how I feel about the device. I'll probably use it occasionally because it did feel nice, you're kind of massaging your skin with it, but if you want to invest in a skincare device, I think there are better ones that have so many more studies behind them and are easier to use."

You scoop out your cleansing balm, warm it into your hand to turn it into an oil, then rub it onto your face. You're going to use even less than you would think while you're massaging it onto your skin."

"I've been using this for a long time. This is great if you have heavy makeup. This gets off waterproof mascara and it should be the first step in your double cleansing routine. Take the Day Off from Clinique is one of the OGs of the cleansing balms. It's fragrance free, it does the job, and honestly I think it's one of the most affordable even compared to some of the ones that seemed cheaper in drugstores."

"This one from Clinique is a great one. Lots of people use this cleansing balm, it's a really good one. Warm that up, don't put it directly onto your eyelashes and onto your eye makeup. Warm it up, turn it into an oil and you're going to get so much more out of that. I like products that don't dry me out while they're removing whatever makeup I had on during the day, and I find that this cleansing balm really does the job there. Work that into a beautiful oil, massage it onto your face and you won't even need to use a washcloth."

"I wouldn't say I'd love this cleansing balm but it's a really fine cleansing balm. It doesn't have any fragrance. It comes with a little disc in the cap that makes it really easy to scoop out. It's a really nice fine cleansing balm, it's a little bit boring, it doesn't rinse beautifully but if you go in with your second cleanse it doesn't matter. I found that this container was easy to travel with, that was probably the biggest reason why I continued to use it is I could throw it into my travel bag and it was really just easy to take around."

"Tower 28 MakeWaves lengthening mascara is a wonderful daytime mascara. It lengthens my lashes, it doesn't necessarily make them look really full but it lengthens them, it makes them stand out, it doesn't get everywhere, and because it's water resistant and not waterproof it's not hard to get off so it's not damaging your lashes. It holds my curl. The one note if I have to give it a little critique is that when it gets to the end and it's a little bit drier it does get a little clumpy, but for me it's amazing. Living in Miami with the humidity and all that, it does really well in that."

The theory is there was we weren't in tune to all the other magical formulas that can work just as well, so it was like you know it took like a couple makeup artists on set to probably talk about it in a news article or magazine, and then it just started to spread and then no one wanted to take that next step to find the next best thing so we all just kind of followed suit. This is boring. It's so thick, not everybody needs a thicker. A really oily skinned client is not going to benefit from having La Mer under their makeup period. Skin prep is going to be different for everyone. The idea that La Mer is King for skin prep, no it's not."

"I'm going to take this balm from Prequel, it's their Skin Utility Ointment, a multi-purpose skin protectant that has a lot of petrolatum in it, which is what I'm using it for. I got perioral dermatitis last year, and the minute I see any of that start up, I'm going to prevent that from happening again. Usually it's my retinoids, especially when I go really strong, that can cause that in this specific area, so I'm just going to protect it before I go in with my retinoid."

"I am a little sensitive right here, I got perioral dermatitis last year, so I'm going to go in with this from Prequel. It is their Skin Utility Ointment. It's petroleum-based so it's going to protect that little area. The main ingredient in this is azelaic acid, but it's a high amount of it. It spreads much easier than I thought it was going to. You want a fairly thick layer apparently because it's going to dry like a clay mask. Azelaic acid, there's phytic acid, there's retinol palmitate in here and other ingredients, and I didn't see hydroquinone or besides the retinol palmitate I didn't see like a stronger vitamin A ingredient or retinoid, which is interesting to me. So it's really the azelaic acid that's doing the heavy lifting. Apparently there's niacinamide in here too, which I think niacinamide is actually a really great ingredient for discoloration. People don't give it enough credit for that."

"I love the foundation that Niolet used on me so much that I went and bought it while I was at Space NK. It is the Lisa Eldridge Foundation. It is so so pretty. It's the perfect shade match for my skin. I'm shade 16 and I love it."

I'm wearing it right now because I raved about it. It has a very skin-like finish. It's almost like a soft matte satin matte finish. Luminous but still matte. That's exactly right, luminous silk from Armani, but maybe like more coverage."

Like, you know, Mac forever had like the lightest, whitest foundation you could find, like the deepest foundation you could find, and I really like that they did that. I think that's a really cool thing. They probably sell like two SKUs a year of it, but it doesn't matter. Like, they have it and it's thoughtful from a makeup artist standpoint. It's actually a really cool tool to have in your makeup kit. You should have like the lightest of something in terms of foundation and the deepest of something, and if you are good with mixing and you understand color theory and undertones and all those things, you can utilize those as a mixing medium to either lighten foundations or deepen them if you're a professional makeup artist."

"NARS Light Reflecting Foundation is one of two foundations that I've ever put on my face and just posted to Instagram without even talking about the foundation, and people were just asking what I was wearing. It's so luminous and so glowy. I'm actually surprised how much I love it on my skin. It's the first foundation to me that truly gives you that skin tint glow finish but you also get the staying power and coverage of a foundation. Sometimes it's a little too glowy, like if it's really hot outside or you're in a humid climate. It definitely reflects light, which it does, and like it's called Light Reflecting Foundation. You have to be very strategic about how you set this one. I'm mindful of what situation you're wearing it in, because if you're just out and about casually going about your day, amazing, but you need to think about the context."

"If you want something that's glowy, I would prefer to use this than the nude glow from IT Cosmetics, it's just way better, it's so far superior to that formula. Lightweight, gives you glow, it looks beautiful, it's not going to crease, it just sits on your skin beautifully. I absolutely love the light serum texture with light to medium coverage."

"This has been probably our top foundation for so long, so many years. I've used this on everyone because I know exactly what I'm getting with this foundation. Don't let the fact that it has luminous in the title deter you if you have more oily skin. I think this is like just one of the best foundations it's ever been formulated and put on the market. It gives you that actual coverage but it's so sheer in some ways, it's so light."

But something that has changed with my concealer because I have crows feet is that I don't bring it over here really anymore. I used to all the time. I do not want it sinking into my crows feet. That's truly the issue is I feel like my crows feet, the more product I put there, the worse it's going to look."

"I love that concealer, I'm a huge fan of it. It's like the equivalent of a full coverage, flawless foundation it's like that in a concealer form and it looks so beautiful under your eyes. You need it, I need it. You have full-on coverage, it looks so smooth. It's one of my favorites. It's a solid concealer. I recommend this formula all the time. If you're looking for a flawless, full coverage concealer, I like it under the eye. It's like a miracle on your eye, it's like smoothing, flawless perfection. I think it's worth every penny. Professionals rave about this one as well. There are a lot of concealers that are really popular that have really crappy undertones, but this one just has beautiful undertones. It works so well. They're easy to mix, they're easy to apply, they blend on like skin."

Concealers are in smaller tubes because they're highly pigmented, very full coverage products. I would suggest going in with foundation first and then doing some additional spot concealing with that concealer. That's just the order that is the best recommended for makeup."

"I love to use a hypochlorous acid spray. I've been using hypochlorous acid on my skin for years. If I have breakouts, if I have any redness, if I have any kind of perioral dermatitis, I always have the Tower 28 SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray mini on me just because it's great to travel with. I spray it on my skin, and before I put anything else on, especially actives, I let this dry down, because you're essentially putting bleach on your skin and it can make any of your other actives inactive. You just want to let this dry down. It is not a hydrating spray toner."

"This is just a hypochlorous acid spray, and there's a reason for it, it is great for anybody who has skin irritation. For me with my perioral dermatitis, but also because of my melasma, I have noticed that anytime I get really red, if I'm irritated, if I've spent too much time at the gym, if I was out in the sun, if I got really hot, I will keep a bottle of this. I also have the Tower 28 one that's like a travel size that I throw in my bag too. I especially love it because I don't get breakouts, and if you're going to use any antioxidants or a retinoid and some AHA and stuff, then you want to let it dry down before you go in with some of your other products just because it could cancel it out. It's essentially like spraying bleach on your skin, so just keep that in mind. But I think this is just such a great type of product to have in your routine and in your bag, it's like a catchall for so many different skin issues. If you're dealing with any redness like I do, that redness can lead to more melasma or hyperpigmentation, so it's just so nice to have because then you don't have to deal with that."

"It's from Tower 28, it's the SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray. This is hypochlorous acid spray. I love it. I talk about it all the time. I do love that this one's travel size and I just want it specifically on that area. Hypochlorous acid when you spray it onto your skin it's essentially like spraying bleach on your skin but skin safe bleach, and so you don't want to put any of your other ingredients on it."

What I like about this is some retinal serums that I've tried don't feel hydrating, it just kind of feels very waxy sometimes, and then this one doesn't feel super waxy it feels hydrating and moisturizing at the same time. I'm really excited that one, they made it affordable, it's a high percentage retinal, it's hydrating feeling and even for me with my sensitive skin because I'm just sensitive to really high percentage retinoids, I'm not going to use it every night but I felt like I could use it once or twice a week and it really did not irritate my skin at all which is impressive because some retinoids can actually irritate my skin after one use and this one didn't do that. I've also gotten retinoid irritation before and this one doesn't do that so that's nice. My only thing is it's so tiny, but I think it's like $14 which I love that The Ordinary makes it super affordable."

"I find that I can use this a couple times a week and my skin is fine and then the rest of the days I supplement with something a little less strong. It has been really easy to add into my skincare routine. My only note, if there's any critique, is that it's kind of small, it's only 0.5 fluid ounces, but you're not going to use a lot. It's a mineral sunscreen with SPF 40, it has a slight tint to it, and it has some vitamin C in it. It's really nice, like an all-in-one, encapsulating kind of serum and sunscreen combo. It's water-free, so I was imagining it would have a heavy texture, but it's actually lighter and pretty watery."

It's a mineral sunscreen, SPF 40, it has a slight tint to it, it has some vitamin C in it. It's really nice, like an all-in-one, encapsulating kind of thing, a serum and sunscreen combo. Even though it's water-free so you'd imagine it has a heavy texture, it's actually lighter. They've got shea butter in there that gives it a very light texture, and one of the first ingredients is a blurring, almost oil-absorbing polymer, so I'm imagining that's why it feels light."
