RNR Sun Serum SPF 50
Undefined Beauty RNR Sun Serum SPF 50

Another favorite is my Undefined Beauty RNR sunscreen, this is an SPF 50, it's water resistant to 40 minutes. This one is very oil forward and it's really great for people with super dry skin. Some people, if you have more combo skin, you may find it to be just a little bit too oily feeling on your skin, but if you have really dry skin this is amazing, especially in the winter. And I love this one so much. This one is tinted, it does come in three different shades so you can find the shade match for you. It comes in a light, a medium, and a dark, and I wear the medium tint in this. And I love this sunscreen, it's so good.

I'm wearing my Undefined Beauty RNR sunscreen which is why my skin is a little bit dewy, but this is a really hydrating mineral sunscreen. It works really well under my makeup.

The other makeup fail was the E.L.F. Soft Glam Concealer. If you have dry skin, please don't try this, it made my under eyes look like the desert by the end of the day and gave me extra wrinkles that I usually don't see using my normal concealer. Epic fail on this. Maybe if you have super oily skin, super oily under eyes, this would work for you, because the coverage was there and the coverage did stay, but it just accentuated every wrinkle and really dried out my skin.
HotandFlashy: Nay vs gurus 72% Yay
I put on the NYX Wonder Snatch Concealer, shade 12 natural, underneath each eye and blended it out. It blended out really nicely, nice and smooth, a little bit brightening, definitely covered up my bluey pinky under eyes. But the under eye concealer I'm not in love with either. For most of the day I thought it looked okay, it was still in place, but I did feel like the skin under my eyes looked extra dry and extra wrinkly, and now it is very worn off at the inner corners. It does look very dry, very crepey. Can save your money on that one as well.
HotandFlashy: Nay vs gurus 66% Yay
This foundation, it's not funny, because I'm sure they were trying to make a good product, but this looks terrible already, terrible. It settled in every wrinkle on my face, and it just looks heavy, waxy, makeupy. Today is almost a complete fail, just save your money on this. I was really, really disappointed in this foundation. It just felt like foundation sitting on the surface of my skin all day, and I didn't really think it did anything for me. It really seemed to accentuate pores and texture throughout the day. The wear is pretty good on it though, I'm not really seeing a ton of wearing off.
HotandFlashy: Nay vs gurus 82% Yay
I used a chemical sunscreen one day, my Haru Haru Wonder, and my foundation looked even worse at five hours over that sunscreen. That one I don't love under makeup, I feel like it makes my foundation settle into my wrinkles more and makes my makeup wear off a little bit faster.

"This one from CeraVe is going to be the least expensive. This is a drugstore product. It comes in a couple of different shades. I think it comes in three shades. On me, it tends to stay a little bit damp feeling, a little bit oily feeling. It doesn't absorb in as well as it will for people with drier skin, but I have a friend with super dry skin who uses this every day as her everyday like go-to no makeup makeup look, and it looks beautiful on her skin. It doesn't feel wet or oily. This is going to be the most hydrating because it does have the CeraVe ceramides in there, which I love about it."

"This sunscreen is perfect for all my different skin types. It doesn't make me feel dry, it doesn't make me get super oily. It's just perfection in a sunscreen. It gives you a beautiful skin-like look that is very sheer. It won't settle in your wrinkles. It's just gorgeous."

"I discovered an amazing new sunscreen that I'm absolutely in love with, the Geek and Gorgeous Zero Feel SPF 50. It has a PA++++ rating, which means it's the highest UVA protection. This is the first sunscreen I've ever tried that I could put on my face and not have to do anything else, just go about my day without looking weird. With every other sunscreen I've tried it's either a white cast, the tint doesn't match me, it's super shiny, it makes my pores look huge, it feels super greasy, I need to powder it or put makeup over it. It comes out of the tube basically white, rubs in quickly and easily, and dries down to the most beautiful finish that just looks like your skin. It's an amazing sunscreen, I absolutely love it, and it plays really well with makeup."

I keep this next to my front door and sunscreen up my hands every time I'm going out to walk my dog. It's so convenient because you always forget to do your hands, and I can just do my chest, my neck, my face. Great little sunscreen, very lightweight, fragrance-free, really terrific."

"This is their Invisible Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50. This uses a new type of zinc oxide that is more sheer on the skin. So this isn't tinted on me. It gives the tiniest white cast that really I don't have to put any makeup on over it. Of course if you have darker skin tone than me it's going to give you a little bit of white cast but is the best as far as not giving a white cast of any mineral sunscreen that's white that I've tried so far. And I really like this one because like all CeraVe products it's got the ceramides in it and the ceramide helper. It's got hyaluronic acid."

"This is a zinc oxide sunscreen. It doesn't have any chemical sunscreen boosters in it. The price point is reasonable for a 2 oz tube. And I do have a 20% off code with dermatology, which is Angie 20. You can use that at checkout any day of the year on any dermatology product, which makes this very, very affordable. I recommend this for people with drier skin. It's super moisturizing. It is tinted, so you can put it on and that can be like your makeup for the day if you're going for a really casual day. It looks beautiful on the skin. It's a great sunscreen and super hydrating. I love it."

"Merit's the Uniform Sunscreen is an SPF 45, and it comes in a bunch of different shades. It has 15% zinc oxide. I'm wearing the shade 22. If you're looking for a great mineral sunscreen and you like to use one just as a standalone, you don't want to put makeup on top of it, this is awesome."

"At the 8-hour check-in, I thought it was very worn off on my nose, my chin, my cheeks, above my eyebrows, was shiny in my T-zone. It was giving me speckly polka dot pores on my cheeks and on my chin. So, this definitely shortens the wear of foundation, but it didn't feel drying to wear throughout the day. So, as a standalone sunscreen, I would give this one a four out of five. As a sunscreen to wear under makeup, I'm going to give it a three out of five."

"As a standalone sunscreen, I'm giving this a three out of five because it was so drying throughout the day. The foundation was very worn off everywhere and it felt so drying throughout the day. "The pigments used in the Uniform are much more elegant, much more sophisticated pigments. They're just not as heavy as the ones used in the E.L.F. Putting this on at an eighth of a teaspoon, I really thought it looked great. There weren't any problems with rubbing it in anywhere. It covered my entire face. And it feels really, really nice. It doesn't feel heavy. It doesn't feel greasy. The pigments don't look heavy. It doesn't look like a mask of makeup, and it looks still very sheer, but yet it evens out my skin tone, covers up my redness, makes my skin look better than it is, and I like the finish on it as well. It's not super shiny. After about 15 minutes, this does dry back and set, and so my face doesn't feel oily and greasy all day long. It just feels like I have on one of my favorite sunscreens that has dry and set and feels really nice. I'm using it in shade 22, Oak Bisque. And this is a perfect shade match for me. This feels lightweight. It doesn't feel greasy at all. It feels beautiful going on the skin. It is just gorgeous. The skin tint is lightweight and lovely. It color corrects a little bit, but you can still see your skin through it. It definitely isn't makeupy at all. This one just blew me away with how good it is as a standalone sunscreen."

"This comes in 12 shades. So inclusive. This is 20.90% zinc oxide. It does contain octal salicyate. And it also contains SD alcohol. I mentioned that because this really hurt my soul and my skin. It really burned my face, which I wasn't happy about because I was so psyched about it. And it's also not water resistant. So this is a runny tinted liquid. It feels lovely going on like a lightweight oil or serum. It has a wet yet powdery feel to it. It blends well around hair and eyebrows. The finish is softly dewy but not shiny. The tint is a good match for me and it evens out my skin tone and looks really natural. I did put makeup on over this one. With makeup, I don't love how this foundation looks over this sunscreen. It looks more dry and cakey than normal, and it's more settled into wrinkles than it normally is. At the 4-hour check-in, the makeup was still wearing well. It looks fine from a distance, but it's really not blowing my socks off. I've seen this makeup look better. After 8 hours, this was kind of a mixed bag. The good was that the makeup still looked in place and hardly worn off at all. So, it's almost primer-like under makeup in that it really helps your makeup to adhere to your skin. But the bad news was that up close, it looked very dry and very crusty. It made my skin look drier."

"This retails for $18.99 for 5 oz. So it's only $3.79 an ounce. It contains 10% zinc oxide, 8% titanium dioxide. It does contain sunscreen booster salicylate. This is fragrance-free and it's 80 minutes water resistance. This is a white thick lotion. It goes on feeling super heavy, super greasy, and it has a really strong white cast that doesn't dissipate even after 20 to 30 minutes of dryback. And I'm putting dryback in air quotes because this never dries back. It stays greasy feeling. I gave it a zero out of five as a sunscreen."

"It feels pretty thick going on, but not wet or greasy. It feels more dryish, and it spreads easily. Even though it's thick, it feels lightweight on the skin, and the tint hides any white cast, but doesn't color the skin or even out the skin tone. The finish is velvety, but not a flat matte. It looked okay, but it settled into wrinkles right away everywhere, including neck wrinkles. So, as a standalone sunscreen, I gave it a two out of five."

"There are a couple sunscreens of theirs that I really like a lot. The one that I'm loving right now is their DRMTLGY Matte Universal Tinted Moisturizer, an SPF 46. This is a hybrid chemical mineral sunscreen, it's tinted, and this one when I rub it in it goes matte and I don't really have to powder it, I can just put it on and go. "It is slightly green, so I wonder if it's going to be a little bit color correcting. That is definitely a difference between this and my Hada Labo Wonder Black Rice Airy Fit, in that that one doesn't have any kind of a tint or a cast to it, it's just white, but it rubs in perfectly clear. What I like about this one is that it's not shiny. It goes on feeling really, really nice. It just feels like a lightweight skin lotion. It doesn't feel greasy, and look at that nice finish. It does have a little bit of a soft luminosity, but nothing like super duper shiny. It blends in really, really nicely. I'm not sure that the green tint really did anything as far as reducing the redness like I feel like you still see the redness here."

I've worn it over three or four different sunscreens and it's worked perfectly with each of them. The shade match is dead on for me. It does have a fairly luminous finish to it but it's not a super hard shine, it's a very forgiving shine."

"This is a fantastic all-around sunscreen, one of the very few that you can wear to the beach, to the pool, doing your sports, and also every day with your makeup on over the top. It is a beautiful sunscreen that acts primer-like under makeup. If you have enlarged pores and or oily skin, combo skin, normal skin, this is going to be the sunscreen for you because it smooths your pores, it smooths your skin, it looks so beautiful under makeup because it does have that primer-like smoothing going on. It's incredible. But the one caveat I would say is that it can be a little bit drying to the skin for me. I don't tend to wear it in the winter; I'll usually just wear it in the hotter, more humid months. But I do take it with me on vacation every time I go. This is like my beach sunscreen. Or I'll mix it with another sunscreen or I'll layer it with another sunscreen because this is so tenacious. You put this on and it's so hard to get it off, so for water sports, swimming, laying on the beach, sweating."

"I absolutely love how it looks, I love how it feels, I love everything about it, but I can't wear it. It's so heavily fragranced that I just can't stand the perfumey smell on my face all day. As a standalone sunscreen it is beautiful. It's lightweight, it's fluid, it blends easily into your skin, it's got a matte finish, it dries down, it's not greasy, it's not shiny. It's everything that you want a mineral sunscreen to be. It is tinted and only comes in one shade, so obviously the shade isn't going to work for everyone. The only other problem I have with it is that it does contain SD alcohol fairly high on the ingredient list, like at number five. So if you have super dry skin I would not recommend this for you. But if you're someone with combo to oilier skin and you need something that's going to control the oils, this is a beautiful sunscreen. It's also water resistant to 40 minutes, so not only does it make a great sunscreen under makeup but you can also wear it to the beach, you can wear it for sports."

It is a hybrid chemical mineral sunscreen so it's got zinc oxide and titanium dioxide in it but it also has a couple of the chemical filters Octan oxide and octos salate. "I really appreciate the packaging that it comes in two pieces so when you're finished with this you slide this out and you keep this and then you just buy like a new one of these and pop it in. I tried this one twice and I didn't 100 love it either time but I don't think it's terrible either, it would have been kind of in the middle for me. First time I tried it I was in Charleston South Carolina and it was humid and this didn't dry or set, it stayed really really wet feeling, it had a really super strong shine and a little bit of a white cast. I did put makeup on over it but it made my makeup like slide around, made my mascara smudge under my eyes and I didn't love that. Once I got back home to New England where it's not as humid I tried it again and it was much much better so it's one of those ones that's going to depend on where you live how greasy it feels. It still wasn't 100 a favorite, it still didn't live up to their claims which is that it's really primer-like and really fantastic under makeup. I didn't find it to be that. It does leave a little bit of white cast."

"Good Molecules Sheer Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 is a white lotion sunscreen that feels like skin care, is non-greasy, spreads easily, and leaves a very minimal white cast with no smell. The finish is nice, mildly glowy but not shiny, and my face didn't feel greasy or oily. However, I did have some pilling on my eyelids and to the sides of my eyes, and it peels up a little bit in the eyebrows. Under makeup it wasn't wearing great after four hours, and after eight hours it was very worn off. It also started feeling drying after about six and a half hours. As a sunscreen that's wearable on its own, I give it a four out of five, though you would not have that pilling around the eyes."

"The Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun Rice and Probiotic Sunscreen is an SPF 50 plus with a PA plus plus plus rating. This is a standard white sunscreen. This is a really lightweight sunscreen. It rubs in beautifully. It only takes like a couple of seconds to put it on and get your whole face done. It doesn't get tangled up in your hair or anything. It does have a pretty luminous finish for me, so I would have to put on something to kind of take down the shine. I wore this for a few days just to test it and see if it would irritate my skin. I didn't have a ton of irritation from it. I can't say if that would be the case if I used it long term, but I put it on for like three or four days straight and I thought that it was fine. It's a really nice sunscreen. It works really well under makeup."

"The CeraVe AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion is an SPF 30. This isn't like a dedicated sunscreen, but it's a moisturizer with sunscreen in it, and this is a really great way to save steps in your morning skincare routine. If you're already using a bunch of serums and stuff and you just want to mash two steps together, which would be your moisturizer and your sunscreen, you can do that with this. This is a mix of chemical sunscreen agents and mineral sunscreen so it has zinc oxide and then it has a bunch of your standard U.S. approved chemical sunscreens. But this also has all the same great skincare ingredients that the CeraVe PM does, and CeraVe PM is one of my all-time favorite moisturizing lotions for day. It's a nice lightweight lotion, and so is this. It contains ceramides, niacinamide, and hyaluronic acid, so it's a really great moisturizer and also a really great sunscreen. This goes on without leaving any white cast. It's really beautiful on the skin. It definitely leaves like a dewy lit-from-within kind of glow and luminescence on the skin, which people are really into these days. It is an SPF 30. The minimum sunscreen you should use every day is a 30, so this is a great option."

"This is another tinted sunscreen that I had tried a couple of years ago. I kind of like this one but not for my face. This one is also kind of shiny and oily, but I use it on my chest and my neck more because I was liking to save the elements for my face. I probably won't repurchase this one, but if you have dry your skin and you're using Elta MD UV elements and you find that one drying, this one is a lot more hydrating, so you might want to give the restore a try."

"This is a very runny, watery liquid sunscreen with a light peach tint. It's so lightweight and fluid, it glides over the skin and rubs in easily with no problems around hair or eyebrows. It has a tacky feel, not necessarily a greasy feel on application. It gives a slightly light cast when first applied. After 20 minutes of drying back, it's got a very shiny finish and only the slightest white cast. With makeup on over it, the shine from the sunscreen comes right through, making the finish more luminous and accentuating my pores. The sunscreen caused my makeup to settle into my wrinkles right away. The makeup wore off much more quickly than usual, wearing off on my nose at the four-hour check-in. The shine had come back through the powder pretty quickly, making my skin look more textured and making my foundation look shinier than it should after just a couple of hours. It looked patchy by the end of the day and crusty by the sides of my nose. It's extremely shiny, and for 60 bucks, it really needs to make my makeup look perfect. The hype I heard was, oh my God, it's like a primer for your makeup, it'll make your makeup go on so perfectly, and for me it just didn't do any of that. It wasn't really wearable on its own; it was too shiny and it didn't do anything for my makeup."

"This is a tinted, thicker cream texture sunscreen with a strong fragrance that smells strongly of lavender. I don't like a lot of fragrance and I don't like to smell things on my face, and the fragrance I felt with this was very, very strong. It took a little effort to rub this in, especially around my hair and eyebrows, but it did eventually rub in well. The tint matched my skin tone pretty well. Bliss Block Star didn't feel greasy and wasn't overly shiny. It does feel a little heavier on the skin than the thinner, runnier liquid sunscreens. After 20 minutes of drying back, it had set and it felt dry with a matte finish and is smoothing on the pores. However, with makeup on over it, it looked thick and cakey and settled into every wrinkle right away, especially on my forehead and around my eyes. It was majorly worn off on my nose after just four hours, looked patchy on the rest of my face, and was still settled in all my wrinkles. Unfortunately, this was so not good under makeup that I can't really recommend it wholeheartedly for people who wear makeup and want just one sunscreen that's going to work on its own as well as under makeup, but it could be very wearable on its own."

"This is a tinted runny liquid that glides over the skin and is very easy to apply. It feels wet when going on like a lightweight oil. The tint matches my skin tone very well and has a luminous finish. It made my eyelids start itching right away with little itchy pin pricks all over my face and neck. By the end of 20 minutes, my eyelids were burning and red. It still felt wet and oily after 20 minutes and was really, really shiny. Because of the itching and stinging, I had to wash this one off. This one was just too shiny and too itchy for me to even wear for more than 20 minutes. Other people may not have that itching, tingling, burning sensation with their skin. This might work fine for some people; it just didn't work for my skin."

"The Australian Gold Botanical Tinted SPF 50 is another sunscreen that I finished up this month. This one was the winner of my sunscreen testing, I don't even know how many years ago, was it five or seven years? A lot of you guys are using this and you love it. This sunscreen is going to be much better for people with normal to combo skin. People with dry skin tend to find it a little bit drying. This is another tinted all mineral sunscreen. This one is eighty minutes water resistant. It has that SPF 50. This one is like a thicker, more cream texture so it does sit a little bit heavier on the skin, but it does rub in beautifully. It comes in three different shades. This is the medium to tan, which is the one that I buy. It's a little bit too dark for me, but I love mixing this one in with like my white sunscreens that leave me a little bit of a white cast. This is a really great one to mix in because it has more of a matte finish, and a lot of the other sunscreens have more of a shiny, dewy, greasy-looking finish, so this kind of mattifies them down a little bit. This is a great one for mixing in with a lot of other sunscreens, or you can use it on its own. I have purchased another one of those."

I tried it as my sunscreen, so using a lot of it over my skin care didn't work. Looked weird on my skin, broken up on the surface, just not good. "This is one of my favorite sunscreens of all time. It's an SPF 50 plus and it's a plain white sunscreen, not tinted. It does leave the slightest paler cast on me but it pretty much rubs in and is almost invisible. The things that really make me love this sunscreen so much is that it dries down, it's really lightweight, it doesn't feel greasy, it sets and it's not super shiny. It actually has a nice matte finish so it doesn't accentuate my pores and texture. The other thing about it is that it's very primer-like, so if you're someone who uses a primer to disguise your pores and texture I'd recommend just this because it really does smooth my pores, smooth out my skin and just make my makeup go on so beautifully over it. It actually helps my makeup to wear a little bit longer."

"The ISNTREE Hyaluronic Acid Watery Sun Gel is an SPF 50 plus with PA plus plus plus. This has eight types of hyaluronic acid in it. This is one that I have really enjoyed for years. This is another Korean sunscreen that uses a mix of sunscreen ingredients that we have approved here in the U.S. as well as some that are not approved here in the U.S. that are approved on the rest of the planet. This is another one that's so lightweight. It just rubs into the skin so beautifully. When you give it 20 minutes to set up, it's not greasy on the skin. It's not heavy. It's not going to make you feel hot. This is also really hydrating because it does have eight types of hyaluronic acid in there, but it also is formulated to be cooling on the skin. If you're the kind of person who always felt like sunscreen made you super hot, you could give this one a try because it's not going to feel like your skin can't breathe. "I've got a new eyeshadow palette that I just tried and I love this palette. I can't get enough of it. I've been using it constantly. It's from Urban Decay. I haven't bought an Urban Decay palette in so so long. But this brand as far as eyeshadows is an OG because they're so good. They blend beautifully. You never get any fallout with them and the shades are really, really wearable. This palette is called the Naked Shaped Multitasking Palette. It comes in two colorways. This is the cool, which of course is more of my alley. It also comes in a warm. So, if you prefer warm shades, then there is a separate version of this palette. The lid slides open like this. And what you get in this palette are both creams and powder eyeshadows, but the creams are multitaskers. So, all the creams are here in the middle. And these are awesome. And this makes a great travel palette because you can use the creams as eyelid primer or you can use them as eyeshadows. You can also use them as contour or as bronzer. And this nice rich black here. If you have a really skinny angled brush, you can use that as eyeliner or you can use it to smoke out your look. But then it also contains 10 pans of eyeshadow. It's easy to fill in your brows, draw in those tiny little brow hairs, and really just beef up your brows if you're a little bit brow challenged, as we tend to be as we get older."

"These are the Sephora House brand and so everyone can get these at 30% off during the sale. They're not expensive to start with. There are two different versions of it that I like: one is a mechanical pencil, one is a sharpenable pencil. The mechanical pencils are $14 normally, the sharpenable pencils are $12 normally, so 30% off you're getting these under $10. They are the best eyeliners hands down. They're waterproof and so when you put them on in your waterline they stay put, and if you're a contact lens wearer like I am it doesn't get all over your contact lenses. You can see perfectly with these eyeliners. So many other high-end eyeliners just aren't as good. I put them on, they're all over my face, smudged by the end of the day, they're all over my contacts. These never do any of that, and that's why they're my favorites. They come in a huge array of colors that are so much fun. You can get your standard black, your standard brown, whatever you're looking for, but they also have really fun colors like greens. They have this beautiful olive green in the retractable, they have this beautiful mint green that I'm wearing on my lower lid in the sharpenable. I love them all. These are creamy, they're easy to draw a line with, never tugging on your eyelids. They're like the perfect eyeliners."

This is their Lash Without Limits mascara and this one is brown. It lasted all day, it was really really good, it gave me nice looking lashes, didn't flake, didn't chip, didn't smudge, and was easy to remove."

"This is their Glossier Monochromes palette in the shade Jute. This only has three pans in it and it's almost a perfect palette. These are really pretty eyeshadows, very unusual colors just because they are so neutral, and it's a great palette for like an everyday look. So if you just want to disguise your hoods you just pop this neutral matte color in the crease and you're good to go. You want to add a nice shimmer, it's got these two really pretty like taupey shimmer colors, a lighter one for the center or the inner corner and a darker one for the outer corner of the eye, and it makes a beautiful simple everyday eye look."

"I noticed the Huda Icy Nudes palette and I threw this in my shopping cart. Since then I've kind of been using it non-stop. Between the two, I am kind of leaning more towards the Huda palette than the Mario. They're both gorgeous, it's just that with the Icy Nudes I feel like I can get more use out of this, more wear out of this, and I actually like using these a little bit better. This is definitely a cool icy palette. This one has 18 pans of eyeshadow with seven shimmers, so that leaves 11 matts, and the variety in the mattes I think is what makes this just a slightly better palette for me. I'm wearing this one today, I did more of a lavender kind of icy look with it. I also put it on in the video where I was thinking about retiring from YouTube and I did much more of a pink look that day. It doesn't really go super dark, which is what I really like about it. In this one, if I ignore the shimmers, I can do a beautiful everyday matte look with it."

"The first Mario palette I bought was the Master Mattes The Neutrals. I bought this in the previous Sephora Insider event and I am a complete convert to the Mario eyeshadows. They are some of the best eyeshadows I've ever used as far as the blendability. You cannot make a mistake with these eyeshadows, they blend out so beautifully. This is like my everyday go-to palette, this is the one I reach for, and it has just such a nice variety of colors but it doesn't go too dark too fast. You know, it's my age-old problem with palettes, is they just get too dark too fast, and this one has so many shades that are really wearable. So your eyeshadow won't come out looking too heavy-handed, too overdone, too theatrical. The everyday palette would definitely be worth the money because you will reach for this every day and it will up your eyeshadow game exponentially in the blend and everything. It's really, really good. This is the one I would recommend for the vast majority of people."

I put this one on this morning when I did this tutorial and then I took my dogs for a walk outside it was about 38° out today so pretty cold and my eyes were watering and look at that no running no smudging. I've heard from people that it's very difficult to get a shade match, the first one I tried was sixteen beige or neutral and it wasn't neutral, it was much more warm and orangey, so I switched to fifteen buff and that's a much better shade match for me, so you might have to play around with the shades a little bit to find a match. "I thought this looked really nice for most of the 4 hours and it looks pretty good. It's mainly still in place like from here down. It all looks really, really good except for right by both sides of my nose where it's a little bit shinier and a little bit gathering up in there, but I'm not getting a huge amount of settling into wrinkles or wearing off. As a skin tint that you wear over a different sunscreen, it works pretty well and it looks pretty nice. It isn't getting really super shiny, although I did use my most mattifying setting powder on it. At the 8 hour check-in, it looks pretty worn off. This is the third time I've had this on. This was showing a lot of signs of wear. It definitely is not a longwearing skin tint or foundation for me. There are definitely foundations that stay on my nose longer than this. It was looking really thin on the rest of my face, so it wasn't really giving me any coverage. It didn't really fade away in a bad way. It wasn't like sliding around or looking weird anywhere or gathering in pores or gathering in wrinkles too much. But considering that I had to buy two of these and mix them together and it's not something that I would ever be able to use as a standalone sunscreen, I just don't feel like this is something that I'm going to be reaching for."

This is another like minimalist brand and I got to say like between this and the Merit I would go with the Merit stick over this but if you're a powder foundation girl this wasn't bad. I think the reason I didn't like it as much as I might have is because I used all of the Jane Iredale helpers with it which I'm not sure that I needed there's a primer and there's a setting spray and I used it all but I did use the primer only on one side of my face and I got to say the side of my face that I didn't use the primer I liked how this looked a lot better. "The drugstore foundation I'm talking about is L'Oreal True Match. This one has been a favorite of mine for many, many years. This is longer wearing, gives you better coverage, looks better on your skin, and is more hydrating, so it's a great foundation for mature skin because it doesn't settle into your wrinkles and it doesn't dry out your skin. It sits so beautifully on the skin, it covers what you want to cover but it looks natural and skin-like. It has a nice amount of light reflectiveness but it's not super shiny, it's also not matte, so it just walks that fine line of being the perfect foundation. The only snafu in the reformulation was that they changed the colors, so if you had been, like I was, N3 in the previous formula, you weren't N3 in the new one. W4 is my new shade in this, and I'm so happy with this foundation, and it is definitely a Holy Grail."

It's not really my favorite though, it's gotten pretty shiny through my T-zone and I feel like it's accentuating pores and texture. It didn't settle in my wrinkles per se but it is kind of cracking to the sides of my nose and in my nasal labial folds, it's definitely like cracked and weird looking there. I've got some skin flakes popped up above my eyebrows. From a distance it is still giving me some nice coverage, but from up close you can see that it is getting a little bit thin at the inner corners, though it doesn't look terrible. "This foundation just looked fine when I first applied it, nothing blew my doors off. It gave solid medium coverage with a pretty luminous finish, maybe a little more luminous than I like, and it did accentuate pores and texture. Throughout the day it wore off really heavily on my nose, was very broken up on the surface, looked speckly and weird, and kind of settled into wrinkles. It didn't look like natural skin sitting on my skin, it definitely looked like makeup sitting on my skin. At the five hour check-in it was majorly worn off on my nose, very worn off on the side of my face, and on my forehead it was basically gone. The side I set with powder wore better than the unset side, which slid around and melted off my face getting really patchy within about three hours. I had trouble blending my bronzer over it, and it balled and pilled a little bit. "I like this better than the IT CC cream which was a favorite of mine for a long time. People were comparing it directly to the IT CC cream and when I tried this I was like I like this better. It's not as heavy looking on the skin as that CC cream. This retails for about fourteen dollars and offers medium to full coverage. This has an SPF 30, it's a hybrid mineral chemical SPF, and having sunscreen in here is fine. This also does contain some skin care with collagen peptides and niacinamide. It's very hydrating so this would be really great for people with drier skin. Like the L'Oreal foundations this was easy to apply. This did settle in my wrinkles a tiny bit but the things that don't crack and make my wrinkles look bigger and make me look cakey, I really don't like. This is really beautiful and natural looking on the skin, it doesn't look like makeup sitting on your skin. "I love this is their new Lip Silk SPF 40 lip gloss. They sent it to me in two colors. So, it comes in more of like a hot poppy pink color and also a really nice nude. I have the nude on today. I think it's mineral. It doesn't taste like anything. It doesn't smell like anything and it gives you SPF coverage while also looking like a really pretty lip gloss in a great color."

This is such a pretty blush, and it blends in so easily and so nicely. You can apply it with a brush or you can apply it with your fingers. Just very natural looking, very easy to work with. It gives you the most beautiful flush of color and it's got a little bit of sheen to it. So it really makes your cheeks pop."

"This is my favorite of all the tinted lip oils that came out this year. A lot of them are just like too oily, too shiny, too everything, but this one is more like a gloss. The ones that are just an oil, I find when you put them on they're too shiny, they get up into my wrinkles really quickly, they don't stay where they're supposed to stay, the colors worn off in three and a half seconds. I really like the Summer Fridays one. I thought this one was the best of the bunch."

"The non-Aquaphor side just looks so much better overall, less heavy, less cakey, less settled in wrinkles. So for me the Aquaphor lip balm experiment today was an epic fail. I don't like anything going on on this side of my face. I have combo skin so I am oily through the T-Zone but not super oily, just a little bit through the T-Zone. I have some dry patches around my mouth and my temples and the rest of my face is fairly normal. I tried the Aquaphor concealer hack three days in a row just wanting to make this work, but for me I could just never get it to work no matter what I tried. I don't love it by itself with my regular stuff. I don't love it with this. I just don't love the whole thing. My normal concealer setup is much, much better, looks nicer and smoother."

"I grabbed the Charlotte Tilbury lipstick balm hybrid in Pillow Talk, but I should have looked more carefully at the colors because I thought Pillow Talk was a nude but it's more of a raspberry color. Aside from that not being the color I wanted, when I went to apply this like a regular lipstick, oh my gosh it's so loose and not formed that it just smears all over the place and you end up with big chunks of color unevenly blended on your lips. When I complained to my friend about it, she told me you can't put it on like that—you have to basically tap it onto your lip. Maybe I'll try it that way, but in the meantime I haven't tried it because it's just not how I love to put on lipstick. If you don't like things that are super greasy and you can't just smear it right on your lips and have it come out right, then these are definitely not going to be for you, and I'm not sure it's for me either."

"This is really pretty, it's a really pretty nude. I thought I would really like this. I liked how it went on, the color is really like baby nude, very pretty lip gloss. It's supposed to be non-sticky lip gloss, so it's not supposed to have your hair stick to it, it's not supposed to stick together. Well, oh my gosh, I wore it in the I'm retiring from YouTube video, and by the end of the video I was talking and it had all these little strings connecting my upper lip to my lower lip, which is one of my pet peeves. When I saw it in the mirror finally after talking with the strings for ten minutes or so, I was like, ah, oh God. So this was definitely a fail. It was just so gross. And it's not too dark, not too light. What I love about this is how easy it blends. You can't make a mistake with this. It's not like most things where you can put on too much and then you're like, "Oh, where am I blending this to?" This just blends out so beautifully and it looks so great on the skin and it's very subtle. So you can do your contouring but it doesn't look like you're contoured. "BK Beauty launched an extension to their original brush line with new Precision brushes, including five face brushes and four eyeshadow brushes. My favorite is the 112 brush, which is a small angled brush and a mini version of my A507 blush brush. While the A507 is perfect for doing your blush and getting that nice big rosy cheek, the 112 is perfect for doing your contour or your highlighting. I used it for contour today and I could really just place my bronzer right there at the bottom of my cheekbone where I want it, and I'm not using a big fluffy brush so it's not going all over the place. I can just really carve out that cheekbone and put a little bit on the saggy gel leaves and do a little nose contouring. I've got it on my neck today because I always feel like my neck is looking really crepey and really crinkly, especially when I look down like this. Like, there they are. But compared to what my neck normally looks like without this on, that is a far improvement. The reason I didn't put it with makeup is because it doesn't work well with makeup. I go in the bathroom to look at it and it's this. It really takes nine months to a year before you start seeing any major anti-aging differences using Retin-A. The most important anti-aging skincare that we have is Retin-A, and it's the one that is proven to work with like 40 years of research that shows that it works so well for reducing wrinkles, for firming up your skin, for reducing discolorations, and for building new collagen in your skin."

"This is the Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate. It's got 14% citric acid, sort of a wash-out intense conditioning thing that is supposed to sleekify and de-frizz your hair. It comes with a whole system of shampoo and conditioner, but this guy alone was $30 and then the shampoo and conditioner were each another $30, so it's like $90 for the whole outlay which I didn't want to do. So I thought I'd just try it by itself. It actually worked. It did make my hair less frizzy, but it only lasted for like a day. The way you use this is you first wet your hair, then you put it on, then you leave it on for 10 minutes, then you wash your hair after. So it just added this extra time where you had to get in the shower, wet your hair, then either stand in the shower for a full 10 minutes with this on there, which is a lot of wasted water and a lot of standing around shivering for me. So I didn't like that. I wet my hair in the sink instead, but I didn't enjoy how you use it. It did seem to work though, so I didn't mind it. But if you have super frizzy hair and you're looking to fight that, this line could be something you might want to give a try."

"This goes on really nicely with both the fingers and the brush. The coverage is medium. This is probably the least natural looking of the products that I have to show you here today. It definitely gives the fullest coverage and definitely looks the most like makeup sitting on the surface of the skin. I wouldn't consider the finish on this to be a semi matte either - on me it seemed to be a little bit more like a satin to a luminous finish. I did feel like it accentuated all my pores, all of my texture. When I added the setting powder I felt like it made this look heavier, the bottom portion of my face was really like dry looking and it was making it look older because of the settling in the wrinkles. It did settle in my wrinkles pretty quickly and it also had skipped over some of my wrinkles on my chin - those wrinkles were accentuated, my texture was accentuated. At the 4-hour check-in the powdery dry look had worn off on my lower face. At the 8-hour check-in it looked fine from a distance, it was mainly still in place, and this is definitely a long-wearing tinted moisturizer. But it's making my lip wrinkles look bigger, all my little wrinkles down here look worse, settled in my wrinkles on my forehead. I can see why people do love this, it's definitely the most coverage and probably one of the longer wearing ones, but because it did settle in my wrinkles and it did look a little drier with the setting powder, it's not ideal for mature skin."

"I finished up a tube of Grande Lash. This was sent in PR from Amazon, so I thought I'd give it a try. This does have a prostaglandin analog in it, but I gotta say this didn't work for me as well as my RevitaLash does. I've probably been using this for about six months, that's how long it takes to go through one of these. I use it on my brows and my lashes. It did really well on my brows. My brows seem to be holding in more, but they didn't lose any ground. But I feel like using this for the last six months, my lashes are so stumpy now and I'm kind of bummed about it, so I'm back to using my RevitaLash."

"I found a couple of really beautiful cream eyeshadows this year, the one that I'm most excited about is the one from Danessa Myricks. I talked to you guys about this one a lot this year. I used it so much in so many tutorials. This is just a fantastic product. It's the Color Fix eye, lip, cheek colors and you can use these on all those places. So they come in so many colors. It comes in like 10 or 15 different matte shades, there are shimmer shades. The first one I bought was in the shade Nude 3 and it is so beautiful. It's just the perfect color that goes with my skin tone, and that's the thing about these is you can find a shade that'll go with your skin tone. You can use this as an eyelid primer or you can use it as primer and shadow combined because these are waterproof and once you put it in place on your eyelid it is not going anywhere. And it's so smoothing. Like I put it on my eyelids and it just smooths everything out so beautifully and I love this so much. I bought this shimmer called Ballerina that is also beautiful, and just using these two, Nude 3 and Ballerina, that could be a quick and easy eyeshadow look. It's just so pretty and it goes so well with Nude 3."

The difference between the original ZIIP and the ZIIP Halo is that with the original ZIIP you had to download the app in order to use it. The first time I used it, I felt like my teeth hadn't been brushed in like five years and then suddenly I went to the dentist, and it felt like a dentist clean with this toothbrush. This is normally $99, so it's going to be discounted way lower than that. It comes with a travel case, some extra heads. It takes up very little room on your counter. I had a Sonicare toothbrush before, the older model, and this one doesn't get as cruddy as the older model did, which is something I hated about it. This one is so much neater to use. Then it's also got a peptide in there that I hadn't heard of before, but it's called Tego Pep 417. They use 4% and then they also have an encapsulated copper peptide in there as well. It's a really nice serum but the consistency of it is more like a toner, so I just put it on like a toner to rewet my skin. I put it all over my face, my eyelids, my neck, my chest, and the backs of my hands. Some of these ingredients can be irritating to the skin, so you should really ease in with them slowly. You shouldn't start slapping them on in large quantities every day. The research shows that skin will generally acclimate as long as you introduce things slowly enough so that it has time to adjust."

Maëlove is a really great company I've been working with them for years and I love their products and formulations. This one contains 15 percent ascorbic acid, so if the 20 percent of the Timeless is just a little bit too much for you, you could drop down to 15 percent like this one. It also contains vitamin E and ferulic acid and it's formulated at the correct pH. It contains grape seed extract, aloe juice, hyaluronic acid, and citrus extract. This is a slightly thicker formula than the Timeless, a little bit less watery, but it absorbs really quickly. "This is The Ordinary's Vitamin C Suspension 23 percent plus HA Spheres 2 percent at $7 for one ounce. It's fragrance free, cruelty free, vegan, and silicone free. The ascorbic acid is suspended in squalane, which is a dry oil, and it has thickeners to keep the oil evenly suspended. It's a pretty sophisticated formula and contains hyaluronic acid. This is more like a thicker white lotion that feels dry and gives a matte finish on the skin. I didn't find any white crystals on my skin with this so I hope that much more of it was dissolved, and with 23 percent that gives you a chance of getting an effective level even if some doesn't dissolve. But I didn't love this one. The rubbing on this one I felt like it was very gritty and very scratchy. The primer itself feels dry and set after 30 seconds, but it's not doing anything for my pores although I don't think that it says it's pore minimizing. "This is made for oily or combination skin and it's supposed to leave more of a matte finish. It does contain some of the same ingredients as CeraVe PM lotion, which is what I like about it—it has niacinamide, glycerin, hyaluronic acid, and it also has one ceramide, though it doesn't have all three ceramides that CeraVe has. It does have a little bit more of a matte finish. While this doesn't completely mattify, it does leave a little bit less of a hard shine and my skin looks a little bit less texturey with this. I can't say that I was like blown away by how matte my skin looked or anything. The finish of my face that day is going to be the finish of my sunscreen, not my moisturizer. For me, it was a little bit more of a fail than a fave."

"To me this is very comparable to the Olay cream. They have like the same feel and the same texture. They're both extra, extra, extra thick. And again, if you're looking for something for your super dry winter skin, give this a try as well as the other one. I like this one a little bit better. This one has niacinamide, it's got peptides, hyaluronic acid, and glycerin. This one has plant ceramides, but that's the same thing that's found in these, so these are both about ceramides in your skin, which is the most abundant fat in your skin, so really good for you. I really did enjoy this. It's a really good product. The price point on the Naturium products is great. It's like 18 dollars, so you can go either way with these."

"I'm gonna say I actually did enjoy using it. It's a nice feeling moisturizer. I looked up the ingredients, it's got a nice ingredient list. There are a couple of peptides but they're way at the bottom end of the list. It has basically a lot of oils in it. It's got shea butter, it's got avocado oil, it's got primrose oil, so it is gonna be hydrating. My skin wasn't any different using this, but it also wasn't any worse. I'm not really tempted to buy the full size of it. I much prefer my Olay Regenerist night creams or even CeraVe better than this, it's so much more in it that's good for your skin."

"I tried the Niacinamide Maracuja Daily Barrier Support Moisturizer from Selfless by Hiram. What I like about this is that niacinamide is the second ingredient on the label. It's got a gel lotion consistency, kind of white, and it's a very lightweight feeling to rub in, so if you don't like a heavyweight cream at night, this definitely has kind of a lighter-weight feel. As far as other helpful ingredients, it doesn't really have anything except a couple of oils, which if you're someone who likes a skincare oil but doesn't like that oily feeling, this is a nice way to get oils into your skincare. I have used this a couple of nights and I feel like it definitely gives that kind of hydrated feeling and it definitely feels a little bit occlusive on the skin. However, I do like my Olay Regenerist Night Recovery Cream, which is my favorite night cream because it has niacinamide as well and it also has peptides, hyaluronic acid, and glycerin and green tea. That one for me packs much more into the cream than this does as far as active ingredients. It's not going to replace my Olay Regenerist Night Recovery Cream because I think that brings so much more to the table in the jar for about the same price and about the same amount."

Unfortunately, you don't get to know how much of each thing is in there, but the niacinamide is listed fairly high on the ingredient list. This also contains ceramides, which are fatty lipids that are great for your skin. They really help to protect the skin barrier. They help to make your skin look bouncy and more full."

This is retinaldehyde it's so much better than using retinol because retinol is two steps removed from your skin being able to use it. So, your skin only has to do one conversion with this, so it's much more likely that you'll be getting more retinoid to your skin cells that need it and can use it by using this than by using a standard over-the-counter retinol."

"The other makeup fail was the E.L.F. Soft Glam Concealer. If you have dry skin, please don't try this, it made my under eyes look like the desert by the end of the day and gave me extra wrinkles that I usually don't see using my normal concealer. Epic fail on this. Maybe if you have super oily skin, super oily under eyes, this would work for you, because the coverage was there and the coverage did stay, but it just accentuated every wrinkle and really dried out my skin."

It went on so smoothly, but by the time I came back for the 5-hour check-in, it was super creased at the inner corner and also in all the smaller wrinkles below my eyes. The coverage is still in place. It hasn't worn off at all, but it definitely settles in wrinkles. So if you have wrinkling under your eyes, this is going to accentuate it. I can do my whole face with it in 10 minutes and it really has given me good results on my face. The way the NIRA lasers work is they heat the skin but they heat it just below the level of heat shock, and that is where collagen production happens, which helps to plump out and smooth out those wrinkles on the surface. You'll feel this treatment more because it is a heat treatment. When the laser fires, you do feel it on your skin, you feel like a hot sensation, but it's only for a second, then you move on to the next area and then it's over. And they each have five different temperature settings, so if the highest setting is too hot for you, you can turn it down. "If a retinaldehyde isn't going to be for you, my second choice from the drugstore is going to be Differin Gel. This is a third generation retinoid called adapalene. Adapalene at a stronger strength is actually a prescription acne medicine, and they released it over the counter in this lower strength. This does hit two retinoid receptors and it binds to them, and so it works sort of like tretinoin in that it's already in its active form. So when you put it on your skin, it doesn't have to convert it at all. There are a couple of very small studies that show that it could have some anti-aging effects like increasing collagen production and reducing fine lines and wrinkles and thickening the deeper layers of the skin. It's also especially been shown to be able to remove hyperpigmentation marks, especially from acne or pimples, so it's really good at that. You can just walk into any CVS or Walgreens or whatever drugstore you have and pick this up off the shelf. It's about $30 for a 1.6 ounce tube. You should use this just like you would tretinoin, just a pea-size amount at night. It can actually be irritating, even though it is much less irritating than tretinoin. Ease in slowly with it because it can still be irritating, even though it's less irritating."

"My third choice at the drugstore is going to be the Neutrogena Retinol Pro Plus. Neutrogena is owned by Johnson and Johnson, the company that did all of the original research on tretinoin and retinol, so Neutrogena knows how to formulate retinol correctly. Retinol is equally unstable as vitamin C, so it really needs to be handled right in the formula. Most of the retinols on the market don't tell you how much is in there. It's always really important for me to know how much of the active ingredient is in the product. 99% of the retinols at the drugstore do not tell you how much is in there, or if they put a number on the label, it's a complex, so it's like a mixture of retinol with some other stuff, but it's not the pure retinol. For those reasons, I feel like Neutrogena is definitely the best bet for retinol, and particularly this product because this product has 5% pure retinol. Even though it sounds like a small amount, it still is the clinically effective amount. It costs about $45, but you're actually getting the real thing and you know how much is in there. This is a really nice lightweight serum, and it does have a couple of other ingredients to help it to stay stable in the bottle. It is fragranced."

"Another company I really love is CeraVe, their Resurfacing Retinol Serum. This is a really good one and contains encapsulated retinol. If you're really concerned about irritation, I would go with this one because it's encapsulated, so it's going to do more of a timed release and release the retinol slower so you would have less of a reaction to it."

"For about the past 5 years I had been getting my tretinoin from Agency in their Future Formula and I love this product. The tretinoin is the key ingredient to use if you have a ton of sun damage. If you can keep that layer thin while thickening the deeper layers, then your skin looks plumper, it looks firmer, your wrinkles look reduced, and as an added bonus, it also helps a little bit with discoloration. Agency is more of a customized cream that's made with your skin in mind. So they'll put in three other active ingredients besides your tretinoin. If you've been using Agency for a long time and you love Agency and you don't want to switch, then there is absolutely no reason for you to switch from Agency."

"They came out with this eye cream this year and it's so nice. If you have never been able to use your full strength tretinoin around your eyes because your eye skin can be just a little bit more sensitive, it uses a very, very, very small amount of tretinoin and you can use this to use tretinoin around your eyes, which can be so helpful. The percent of tretinoin in here is 0.002%, so very mild, very gentle. It's really thick and it's really emollient, and that's really the feel of something that I love for around my eyes."

"If you have a lifetime of accumulated sun damage and you want to go for the big guns, the heavy hitters, I definitely recommend that you go for a prescription tretinoin. The way I get my tretinoin is from a service called Agency. I love this service. It is an online service that you can get your prescription tretinoin without having to go see a doctor in person and then have it filled at a pharmacy. The way this works is that you upload a few pictures to their website, then you're set up one-on-one with a consultation with a skincare provider who recommends the mix of ingredients that go into your custom formula. They actually offer two different formulas with the service. You can get the custom formula which would contain your tretinoin plus three other active ingredients. They also offer a dark spot formula which, if you're noticing increased dark spots after the summertime, is a great product to add on because this will contain four more active ingredients that are specifically targeting dark spots in your skin. My custom formula contains tretinoin at 0.14%, azelaic acid at 5%, tranexamic acid at 5%, and niacinamide at 4%."

It's not quite half the price of the Clinique, but substantially less, and I got to say this works just as well. This is really nice, it's a really pretty purple color, it's a really thick oil based cleansing balm, and it really does break up all of your makeup, all of your sunscreen, all of your waterproof mascara and eyeliner and everything else. "Another cleanser that I tried and have really been enjoying and has worked itself into my regular skincare routine is this one from Round Lab, it's their 1025 Dokdo Cleanser and this is just really soothing, really calming, really hydrating, great little cleanser. It does foam up a little bit, which I normally don't like cleansers that foam at all, but this uses the mildest surfactant. It's actually got the same surfactant in it that my Orb shampoo uses. And look at the size of this tube, this is roughly 5 oz and I think it's like under $20, so this is a really good value. I always do the opening my eyes test with any cleanser and I can open my eyes with this while I'm using it and there's no stinging, there's no burning in the eyes."

I was kind of psyched about this but I was also a little bit nervous about it because it does contain coconut derived surfactants and all the cleansers that have like the coconut derived surfactants don't agree with my skin they make my skin feel dry and tight. My eyes stung which I wasn't happy with. I do like it that it is fragrance-free but then afterwards my skin felt so dry and tight. You know that dry and tight feeling, I hate that feeling. It just was a little bit too stiff in here for my older under eyes. But I do love it for blending and contour, especially like on the side of my nose where I want a really sharp line. "This is my concealer brush. I designed this with nose contour in mind. It's great for sculpting and shading the nose. I like to take the longer fibers of the brush and just sculpt into where the beginning of the brow is to connect it so it's not so disconnected. You can do a little scoop underneath on the very tip of the nose, which gives a little subtle lift. Less is more with contour as well, you do not want to see visible contour on your nose. "Of the eyeshadow brushes I really like the 210 Brush. This is like the tiny tiniest little smudger slash eyeshadow brush. It's kind of similar to my 504 brush which is my tiny crease brush, but it's a lot stiffer and a lot shorter. My 504 is great for really smoking out the outer corner and blending eyeshadow while you apply it. The 210 is great for doing the tiniest little detail work at the outer corner, like if you just want to add the tiniest little bit of a dark color like black or really dark brown out there. And the added bonus with it is that the back of this folds down so when you get to your destination it just sits upright so you can use this to hold your brushes at home, you can travel with it, and there's enough room in here that you can fit in like a mascara, a blush, a couple other things of makeup if you're really doing minimal makeup. "My favorite current self-tanner is the Beauty by Earth Self-Tanner Tanning Lotion. This one's really nice because it is a lotion. It's not a foam. I find that I get better coverage with a lotion. I can rub it in better. I don't get streaks and hard edges like I do with some of the foams where you can't really see where you're putting them. With the lotion, you really have to spend a little bit more time rubbing it and that just gives me a better, smoother application. I wear the medium to deep shade and it gives me the most beautiful tan and I find that this lasts a little bit longer than the foams because it is in a moisturizing base and so it's moisturizing your skin which is what does make your self-tanner last longer whereas most of the foams are in like an alcohol and water base and so they can dry your skin a little bit. This one just lasts on my skin longer. It transfers to my clothes less. That's why it's my favorite. I've been loving this for a few years now."

"With other products, I've been saying for 13 years, there's no reason to get a dedicated eye cream because there's nothing special in it that isn't already in face cream. But this one, where the percentage is so much higher, it's really going to help the eye area so much more. This is so creamy and emollient, you only need the tiniest, tiniest little dab of this. I've been using this for about 3 months now and I really love it. So I take a tiny dab of this and I just work it underneath my eyes and onto my eyelids. And the one thing that I love about this is that it's so nonsensitizing. With tret, the gold standard, absolutely love my tret, will never stop using it, but it took a long time to work up to using it and it still can be a little irritating sometimes if I go in a little too hard with it. You can really use these also as a shadow shield, so it eliminates that fallout that way we don't have to go in and irritate the skin under the eyes and clean it up with a Q-tip. "This has the right color of red light for me but for me it doesn't have the right color of near infrared. It's got 880 which is 50 nanometers off from the 830 that I'm looking for and 50 is too big of a swing. It's never going to get close to being 830. This one does contain three other colors of light in it. It's got the 415 blue light which is for acne, it's got 605 amber light which is one of those shallower ones with much less study on it, and it also has 660 deep red light. This has 160 bulbs total but of course it's not 160 of each color. So when companies give you a high number of bulbs they're usually adding all the bulbs together, they're not telling you how many of each individual bulb you get. This mask contains 160 bulbs total but there's only 30 of the 415 blue wavelength, 55 of the 630 red light nanometer wavelength, and 25 each of the 605, 660, and 880 wavelengths.
