What the gurus are saying

This peptide and oil-based cream divides reviewers on firming: some found it produced visible results over three to four months of consistent use, while others felt it was too light and lacked strong firming ingredients. It's affordable and works as a simple swap for your existing moisturizer, though the firming power may not satisfy if you're looking for serious lifting results.

"This is the [Torriden] Cellmazing Firming Cream. It has firming in the title and it actually delivers that. It uses a beautiful blend of peptides alongside some rich oils to help achieve that. And I would say if you use this consistently as your moisturizer, you'll see results in around 3 to four months. This definitely worked for me. It's a great all over treatment and it's super inexpensive. You don't need an extra product. You can just swap out your existing moisturizer for this one and you'll see some really great results. It's the price point that attracted me to this product and the results that kept me going back time and time again."

"This is not my favorite product from the [Torriden] family of lines. I'm not super impressed with this. I was excited about it because it was a product I wasn't super familiar with from [Torriden], but I was a little let down. It's just a nice lotiony type cream. It's not quite enough for my skin. It's a nice pleasant cream, but it didn't really blow me away like the other lines from [Torriden] have. I looked at the ingredients a little side-eyed because maybe they could have thrown in a few more compelling firming ingredients."

What the evidence says.

Independent of what the gurus think, this is what the published research supports about the main active ingredients here.

Niacinamide

Niacinamide has evidence behind it for redness, uneven tone and supporting the skin barrier, and it is usually well tolerated even by skin that reacts to most things.

Humectants and emollients

Ingredients like these draw water into the surface layers and slow how fast it leaves. The evidence is for comfort, softness and hydration rather than for changing the structure of the skin.
