"This is the acid by Theramid. So Theramid, one of my favorite skincare brands and they do a range of amazing products, but the acid is their azelaic acid. It's the best azelaic acid I've ever used. Now azelaic acid traditionally can be a little bit gritty and grainy. It's quite hard to formulate with in order to create a smooth emulsion. They've managed it. Also you need to be careful with your azelaic acids because the percentages, the concentrations don't always translate because azelaic acid is quite difficult to make bioavailable. So basically your skin can take it up and actually use it in terms of delivering benefits. A lot of the really cheap azelaic acids out there aren't particularly bioavailable in terms of their formulation. So a 10% you might only actually be getting 5% of that 10% if that makes sense. The way that Theramid have formulated this, you're getting every last drop of that azelaic acid that's in here and it's super smooth. I absolutely love it. It's 15% which I think works universally. Some prefer 20%. That's a bit prickly and for a lot of people. So I think 15% is a nice safe azelaic acid. Maximum results, minimum risk of side effects and irritation. And this is just fantastic. You've also got oatmeal in here which calms and soothes. So will offset any of the prickling you can get from azelaic acid. And you've got carnosine in here."

"The acid by Theramid is hands down the smoothest azelaic acid I have ever tried. Not one bit of graininess to it at all. A lot of people who tried it after it was recommended said they couldn't believe how smooth it is, with no chalkiness and no gritty or grainy feeling, because the azelaic acid is worked into the formula as an emulsion rather than sitting in suspension without delivering full results. "Really a nice formula. Comes out white. It's hydrating, but at the same time, maybe slightly a little bit more gritty. I wouldn't say gritty, but it stings a little bit. "Works great without any dryness, very hydrating but feels calming at the same time and not greasy. It definitely does what it promises so it promises to help with redness, prevent breakouts, help with hyperpigmentation, and help rejuvenate skin. In my opinion I think this helps on all four accounts. It does everything, it hits every note that it promises. Most brands make a lot of promises and a lot of times they deliver in one of them or none of them and this delivers on everything. I like the inclusion of the peptides and then I see this potentially is also helping with anti-aging with the inclusion of some of those peptides. It's friendly for all skin types and then for acne prone skin there's only two ingredients of note, glycerol stearate and triethanolamine, which are two slightly acneic ingredients but then figure in the rest of the ingredients in here fight breakouts and things like that so unless you're super sensitive to one of the two I wouldn't be terribly concerned. This is a full size 1 oz, 30 ml, and it retails for about $40. I will say Google before you pick it up, search because I think sometimes they have promo codes so it might be worth it. I think sometimes they have like 10% off or something like that or maybe they'll have another sale."
