What the gurus are saying

Gurus consistently praise this eye cream for its plumping, hydrating effect and smooth gel texture that works well under makeup. The snail mucin is highlighted as healing and nutrient-rich, with potential collagen-stimulating benefits. Caffeine and volumizing actives like volupalene earn approval for tightening and smoothing fine lines. The ceramic applicator is noted as cooling and pleasant but not particularly functional for product application. Overall sentiment is strong positive, with reviewers reporting it as a repeat-grab favorite.

"I love this eye cream for the plumping. The snail mucin is very healing. There are actually some really great antioxidant content, a lot of nutrients in snail mucin that are very good for healthy skin. There are some studies that suggest snail mucin may stimulate collagen, but there's also volume fill line in here which is also very good for kind of plumping the skin and giving it a smooth appearance."

"I really enjoy this eye cream. I do like to put some eye cream on before I put on any type of retinoid, just a little bit of a reverse order for your traditional skincare routine, but it's kind of nice if you get any dryness or irritation in that delicate eye area. It just kind of offers a little extra moisture and buffer if you accidentally get the product up a little bit too high. The texture is almost like a stiff medium cream gel texture with a lot of oclusivity, a good amount of moisturization, and a lot of skin plumping, hydration. There's some volume in here, about 5 to 30% of snail mucin in here. There's some caffeine."

"I feel like snail not only has that right texture to go smooth, plump, but it also has all those beneficial ingredients in it that help protect that delicate skin. All the beneficial ingredients in there that may help to contribute to some collagen stimulation along with the other beneficial ingredients overall in the formula. It's just a really nice gentle eye cream honestly. I love the texture and it is moisturizing for having more of a gel-like feel. It is actually quite moisturizing. My skin feels very smooth to the touch, very hydrated, not dry, definitely not dehydrated. It works really well underneath makeup. I remember trying this out when I first got it and I was like, I kind of like this. And then I just haven't stopped using it. I think that is sometimes one of the best indicators of something that is really a favorite for me, just constantly grabbing for it because it's just so good. There is a ceramic applicator on this. I don't really use it. It's quite cooling and does feel nice on the skin, but I don't think it's very good at pulling the product in. It kind of just pushes the product around. I don't really love that for me, but sometimes just putting the cool applicator under my eyes in the morning does feel very refreshing."

"This uses 30% of snail mucin complex. Now, we know snail good old K beauty staple, right? It's hydrating. It's plumping, but it also has all of those great micronutrients in it that particularly good for the under eye area. Great for well-aging concerns. Very preventative. You know, it is anti-inflammatory. It's very healing. It may help contribute to collagen stimulation. But it's also very protective for the skin and like I said, very hydrating, plumping. It might address fine lines and wrinkles with long-term use. I've used lots of snail products around the eye area with pretty good success. They are using azelene in this, which is a biologically active compound that comes from the chamomile plant. It's particularly good for reducing inflammation. It is actually what is contributing to the slight blue tint to this cream as well. They're using 5% of volume. I like this a lot more than I thought I was going to. I actually really enjoy this."

"This is their snail mucin eye cream. First off, it's this really pretty blue color, but I love that it feels nice and soothing and cooling because of this tip that it has on there. And it also has these really great plumping ingredients. One of those ingredients is volupalene, which is one of those ingredients that you see floating around a lot online because it's supposed to mimic a filler. No topical will ever mimic something that can be injected, but it just means that it's very plumping and hydrating to the skin, and it's supposed to be a great ingredient for this. And this also has caffeine in it, which I think is always an incredible ingredient for under the eyes. And it has some brightening ingredients, too. But caffeine's great because it helps to just tighten up that area underneath your eyes."
