What the gurus are saying

Gurus overwhelmingly praise this serum for its affordability, lightweight texture, and effectiveness as a layering peptide product. The recurring strength is its versatility and value at the price point. Some reviewers note peptides pair well with hyaluronic acid for anti-aging benefits. The main split centers on results: most see clear value, while a few experienced minimal visible difference or found it too heavy for their specific routine or scalp sensitivity. A minority feel competing peptide serums edge it out slightly.

"This is a multi peptide hyaluronic acid by The Ordinary, very inexpensive. It's a great layering peptide. It's cheap. It's six peptides. It comes out like water, so it's very easy to spray it on your whole body or your face or to layer it on your skin. For me, this is a good eight out of 10."

"This is a peptide that's telling your skin to soften those dynamic wrinkles a little bit. Soften those surprised eyes or soften the angry forehead. That's what this peptide does. The Ordinary version of this is $10. What it does is it softens the signals between your brain telling you to smile big and your muscles smiling as big as they can. It softens that a little bit. That's what that peptide does. It's quite incredible."

"This is the Multi-Peptide plus Hyaluronic Acid Serum. So you don't necessarily have to add the copper peptide. If your skin becomes too sensitive and the cell turnover is too much, you could do a multi-peptide that is just a hyaluronic acid. We learned earlier that hyaluronic acid plays really well with peptides, right? So you could put on a layer of this."

Anti Aging Skincare Products You Need to Try Now! 🥰 Best Ingredients For Youthful Skin
"I absolutely love this one from The Ordinary. Their Multi-Peptide Serum plus copper peptides used to be the Buffet. This one is full of peptides and amino acids as well as one percent copper peptides. It's got the blue color, so you know that the copper peptides are in there because there's a lot of copper peptide serums that aren't blue. Copper peptides have been shown to have a reservoir effect in our skin, so you can apply it in your evening routine and then you rinse it off in the morning and it still stays working in your skin to firm it up. You can't use it with strong acids, but you can use it with retinol and vitamin C. It's very high maintenance if you're going to use any routine, you really want a minimal routine, but it's worth it."
Neutrogena's 🆕 Best Selling Products Get A Reboot - New Hydro Boost Gel Cream Formula Upgrade
"This one's $31.99, which in my opinion is a little pricey, especially when you can get the original The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Serum with copper peptides for less. Although copper peptides are fussy, I mean to be honest if these two are the same price I'm buying this one every time. They added some nice ingredients and you get it on sale it's even better. The packaging is now glass, which is kind of exciting, whereas it used to be plastic. The new version has more of a serum lotion texture, while the older version has more of a gel runny texture."
My Favorite Peptides - Peptides You Want in Your Skincare Routine & Product Favorites
"The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Serum with copper peptides is lovely, 32 bucks, really nice serum, easy to fit into your routine. Well, it's a little high maintenance to fit into your routine to be honest, but it's worth it. If you ever do micro needling or office treatments, it's a nice followup and helps your skin heal quickly."

"The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Serum with copper peptides amazing, love it. I actually add a little bit of copper peptide powder to it to make it a little bit stronger and copper peptides are one of my favorite ingredients. Copper peptides and lactic acid are two of my top five, top top in the top five favorites."
Minimalist Skincare Multi-Peptides 10% Facial Anti-Aging Serum Review, How to Use, and Dupes
"It's great for dry, sensitive, oily and acne prone skin type, so very friendly for everybody. The price is really affordable, 1 oz for about 12 bucks, so it's really pretty affordable which is nice. It's a nice budget friendly serum. I still come back to the ones from The Ordinary that I love. Overall with a 10 being a perfect score I gave this one an eight. It's very nice, very affordable, and I've been enjoying using it. If you're on a budget it's certainly worth a try."
Best Ingredients to Build an Anti-Aging Skincare Routine - Ingredients to Boost Collagen in Skin
"The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Serum with copper peptides, copper peptide is another ingredient that for me it's amazing. When I use it just even the next day or two the benefits for it are it's amazing. So copper peptides I'm totally sold on it and there's lots of research on it. It's kind of still a relatively new skincare ingredient and it was founded I think in 1976 but it really hasn't been talked about much until the last few years. So this one's really nice."

"It does feel really nice and silky and it has no scent at all, which is nice. The ingredients in here are quite extensive, with a lot of antioxidants like argan oil, centella extract, copper peptide, Chinese skull cap root, and superoxide dismutase, which is a really good antioxidant, especially for daytime use. I would call this a daytime type serum because of those antioxidants. Then you've got peptides in here as well."

"This one comes with I believe 1% copper peptides. Sometimes I'll order these and then mix a little bit in so you can create kind of your own percentage of it. So I typically go up to 2% I'll mix a little bit in and it really is beneficial. Love this stuff, really wonderful. It's got a really nice moisture gel texture. I've repurchased them multiple times. This one's 1.7 oz and it will go a long long way."

"Another product that I use is by The Ordinary. I found this difficult to use because it has peptides, it has humectants, I just found it didn't go with my hair care routine because it made my scalp a little bit too greasy. I tried using less product and it really didn't help that much. So, I've kind of only gone through maybe a fourth of this bottle. I don't think that I'm going to finish it."

"The Ordinary Multi-Peptide serum pairs beautifully with growth factors. You don't have to use a separate peptide alongside it if you don't want, but I feel like you get extra results and I'm all about that when it comes to anti-aging. The Geek and Gorgeous one is just slightly better, which is why I tend to prefer that, but it's up to you if you want to shop The Ordinary. Their multipeptide pairs beautifully with that."

"The Ordinary is a great option. The Ordinary has a little more peptides than other alternatives, so it's what you can opt in for. Apply a nice peptide serum. Your multipeptide serums can be applied on damp skin or on dry skin. The Ordinary multipeptide use it is formulated in hyaluronic acid as you're going to apply it on damp skin. "If you don't have the alkaline solution and you have a multipeptide like The Ordinary Multi-Peptide, you can use that also. You can use it 3 days together or you can alternate it, but initially since you're starting it you're going to do it just once a week, after two weeks twice a week, and then after that you're going to wait for this to completely completely dry out."
Best Serum for Daily Use | Nipun Kapur
"One serum that you can use easily morning and evening is a multi-peptide serum. Of the multi-peptide serums available in the market right now, I have only two recommendations. One is The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Serum, which is my number one recommendation. The difference between The Ordinary and Minimalist multi-peptide is that The Ordinary's multi-peptide has more peptides. You get about 15 to 20 different types of peptides and amino acids. It's a better serum. Minimalist is also very good, but you get fewer peptides in it. There's also a price difference. For anti-aging, you can use multi-peptide serum morning and evening comfortably. If you have to use just one serum, I would recommend this, especially if you are pregnant or nursing."
The best serums for glow & anti aging | Ordinary vs Minimalist | Nipun Kapur
"The Ordinary Multi-Peptide has more peptides than the Minimalist Multi-Peptide. It has about 21 solid ingredients including 10 to 11 peptides, which are fabulous. If you're comparing just multi-peptide serums, The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Serum is a clear winner. The pure ingredients-wise, The Ordinary is a clear winner. With Minimalist you're spending only 699, whereas The Ordinary one is way more expensive, I think it's double or more than double the cost, so obviously there's a cost-benefit advantage. But purely in terms of ingredients, The Ordinary is a clear winner."

Comparing Anti-aging Strategies For 20-somethings Vs. 30-somethings
"The Ordinary one has almost 20 peptides, so they are truly multi-peptide serums. You can use it in the morning. You can use it with niacinamide 7 days a week, and you can definitely use it with your retinol. You can use it on your hydrated night with an exfoliant."

"The Multi-Peptide + Hyaluronic Acid Serum has quite a few different peptides in it, but they're using the famous peptide duo known as Matrixyl 3000. It's a great collagen-stimulating duo that addresses multiple signs of aging on the skin and can be a great alternative or addition to copper peptide. Matrixyl 3000 does help to stimulate collagen, and what's interesting about the cell communication process is that palmitoyl tripeptide 1 actually tricks your body into thinking that collagen was lost or that there was a collagen breakdown, and that's how it signals to your body to make more of your own collagen, which can really help to address fine lines and wrinkles. Matrixyl 3000 is well known for helping with prevention but also treating the look of fine lines and wrinkles, the depth and appearance of them. It can really help soften them over time."

"The Ordinary has two products that I think are good for peptides on the skin: the Multi-Peptide + Hyaluronic Acid Serum and then the Matrix Peptide 10% + Hyaluronic Acid. This one is just a thin serum, very lightweight and smooth. It's supposed to be put on your fresh cleansed skin and then absorb in, which is exactly what it does. It does not finish heavy on the skin or sticky or tacky or anything like that. It is just a very lightweight smooth serum, very simple."

30-Day Botox Hack Results! | $20 Anti-aging Hack | The Budget Dermatologist
"The Ordinary Multi-Peptide + Hyaluronic Acid Serum is a budget option that contains argireline, which is a peptide said to target the appearance of static and dynamic wrinkles. It works by inhibiting the movement of facial muscles similar to how Botox works, but in a more non-invasive way. This ingredient is often used in anti-aging products because of its potential to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. But it's important to note that while it may offer some of the benefits of Botox, the results are not going to be identical to the strength and longevity of the results you can get with Botox."

"The multi-peptide ha serum is really good for skin hydration for fine lines for wrinkles. It's the exact same thing as the buffet, just rebranded. It works just as well because I had to test it for quality, and it's the same thing so if you're confused no more being confused. It's not better, it's not worse, it's just the same with a new name."
