What the gurus are saying

Most gurus who tested it found it smooths texture and hydrates dry under-eye skin overnight, with one expert praising the gentler form of vitamin C and caffeine for addressing dark circles and puffiness. However, one reviewer saw no visible difference despite long-term use and felt the price didn't match the results. Those with dry or dehydrated under-eyes may find it most helpful; anyone seeking dramatic changes to fine lines or dark circles should manage expectations.

"I had heard a lot of good things about it and I do like Summer Fridays as a brand, so I decided to invest in this as a more luxury eye cream to see if it actually makes a difference. It is an elegant formula and feels very nice applying it on the under eye area, so it delivers luxury on that front. But besides that, I really didn't notice any difference on my under eye areas. I used this one for a long time and finally just gave up after a while because I was like, 'Okay, I don't think this is doing literally anything.' Is it a bad eye cream? No. But contrasting the price point with the actual results, absolute zilch results."

"You put it on like an eye cream overnight. Again, you sleep. You just sleep and let it do its stuff. These kind of things are so great around nighttime because when you're sleeping, that's when your skin is healing and repairing. So I use this a lot. I do remember that time I had like dry eyes here. I don't know where it came from, but I was just crossing off the inside corner of my eyes. This was a lifesaver because it smoothed it out. And listen, I had to get that stuff fixed within a week, within a few days because I need to wear makeup to film, right? With that night mask, with having that kind of skin smoothed and evened out in texture, the next morning when you wash your face, when you go to apply your makeup, you're going to have a really beautiful texture. And then you don't have to worry too much about using a thicker eye cream to sort out that dehydration or that drier skin."

"I honestly love this eye cream. I feel like it really has made a difference. Honestly, this is like one of the only products that has actually helped my under eyes. This eye cream has vitamin C, it has THD ascorbate vitamin C, which I am a fan of, and it's great for people who have sensitive skin. Ascorbic acid can be a little irritating for some people, so it's a nice form of vitamin C. It also has a peptide that can help with collagen production, so theoretically it can help with fine lines and wrinkles. It has caffeine, and I am a fan of caffeine in eye creams because the issues around the eyes are different from the rest of the face. We want to work on hiding dark circles, helping to kind of depuff any kind of swelling that we might have, and I think caffeine is something to look for in eye creams."

"They just sent this in like a little PR box not that long ago, this is the jet lag overnight eye serum, and I was like that's going in my little travel bag."
