"The patented peptide in this neck cream has much smaller studies that were done by the brand rather than independent studies, so those to me do not hold equal weights. I would rather go with a peptide cream for my neck that has Matrixyl 3000 or the Syn-Ake form or copper in it rather than swapping those very well-known peptides out for an unknown peptide with less evidence behind it and that is costing me way more. So I am not willing to take that risk. Possibly this will give you results that you were happy with, but so will other creams that cost less money. In my opinion, I recommend starting there instead."

It's really meant for not only the neck area but for the upper chest and the décolletage. They make that claim with the assumption that they've actually tested it clinically with the cream applied on the upper chest area. "I like this one, of course I'm going to, it is thick, it is heavy, which I guess does make for a good cream for the neck area since that skin is more thin, so something thicker and more occlusive makes sense there. It does feel really nice and it does deeply moisturize. "There's a neck cream that I like using from Strivectin, their TL Advanced Tightening Neck Cream Plus. I'm pretty picky about this area because it can get really uncomfortable, but this one really works for me. This is already an upgraded version of another really popular neck cream they had, which I hadn't tried, but this has a more advanced technology called the NIA 144 technology which works to further strengthen the skin here but also firm and effectively the contours around the neck and firm the skin. But if you're someone who can see creases appear when you're turning your neck and they all kind of form, this is actually substantially moisturizing enough. It works to improve the elasticity of the skin around here but also just to smooth out the appearance and make it more moisturized so it doesn't have that sort of dry effect that a neck cream can honestly have. All the technology doesn't matter if the texture isn't right, because this area is prone to milia. I also don't like it when it's overly moisturizing where I can really feel something sitting on top of my skin, because it becomes very sensitive and sometimes itchy. I feel like they nailed the texture—this is substantially moisturizing, which is something we need particularly during the colder drier months. It gets in there so your skin doesn't have all those visible crepiness and lines, but at the same time it is not clammy. You don't feel it sitting on top of your skin—it sinks in. I apply it from the bottom all the way to the end of my chin and around my jawline as well because you want to firm this whole area up."
