The 2% niacinamide and 1% ceramides hit ideal amounts for sebum control and barrier support, while peptides and beta glucan add soothing power. "It's a facial moisturizer with that whipped texture to it that just feels so silky. It's got beta glucan, shea butter, niacinamide. It also has the fence biome peptide, which is a peptide that's supposed to help heal and repair your skin's microbiome, which is related to some people with acne, some people with rosacea, fungal acne, things like that. The microbiome is very interesting. But this stuff's wonderful. I really enjoy it. It feels really nice on your skin and silky."

"This one doesn't do that, which is nice. But it feels really nice on my skin. It does feel silky soft. I imagine I could mix in my bronzing drops with this just fine. We've got ceramides, we've got some fatty acids, which are great for dry skin, shea butter. We've got peptide in here, which is great to see. I love peptides, you can tell. Peptides for me have been a game-changing ingredient in my skin care. They really have helped with fine lines and wrinkles in a huge, huge way. We've got beta glucan, which is great for your skin, willow bark, and lots of ceramides, fatty acids, and good stuff. It is super light texture. I love it. I could see how this would work well for most skin types."

"This one's got a really light whipped texture. I love that in a moisturizer. It's got ceramides, fatty acids, shea butter. It's got some peptides in there, and beta glucan for soothing. It looks pretty wonderful. This one has an even more whipped texture. It looks like it might be great for super dry skin, or all skin types."

"This is a lighter texture, so great for those that don't like more nourishing cream textures. It's lightweight but still really barrier supportive. Lovely, spreads really nicely, improves hydration again without the heaviness. It's got 1% ceramide complex, 2% niacinamide, which is the ideal concentration to help with sebum control, offer some skin barrier support benefits, and some antioxidant benefits as well. Heptapeptide-7 that helps to support your skin barrier along with hyaluronic acid and yeast extract. So a lovely texture, more of that moisturizer that supports your skin, fragrance-free. If you're oily, sensitive, or just want something lighter for the summertime, this is the one to use."

"I really do like that they disclosed the percentage of niacinamide, it's two percent, which is a nice lower level and yet a level where we see research. Oh, this is a really nice moisturizer. I see why my partner keeps taking it for her own collection. I really do like the texture of this too, I think it's something like a six percent complex of hydrating ingredients."

    What the evidence says.

Independent of what the gurus think, this is what the published research supports about the main active ingredients here.

    Niacinamide

Niacinamide has evidence behind it for redness, uneven tone and supporting the skin barrier, and it is usually well tolerated even by skin that reacts to most things.

    Ceramides

Ceramides are part of the skin's own barrier, and moisturisers built around them have evidence for holding water in and settling the tightness and flaking that come with a damaged barrier.
