What the gurus are saying

This water cream sinks in fast and leaves skin feeling hydrated, plump, and soft without any weight or greasy finish, making it especially suited to normal skin, summer use, or humid climates. The gel-like texture bursts into hydration as you spread it on, and ingredients like niacinamide and green tea work to soothe redness and calm inflammation. It's unscented, absorbs quickly enough that you can apply sunscreen right after, and works well for anyone who finds their usual moisturiser too heavy or rich for warmer months.

"Barrier Balancing Water Cream has [squalane], niacinamide, acetyl hexapeptide, heptapeptide 4, and zinc PCA for oilier or acne prone skin. Really nice gel cream texture to it. Soaks in really nice. No scent to it. Really nice packaging. They knocked it out of the park with this product because I didn't really think they could include a new moisturizer in their lineup without changing the lineup too much and they included this and it seemingly fits in perfect with all their other stuff."

"This stuff's nice. It's new. It's a really nice option from SkinFix for normal or summer skin or if you don't have dry skin. It's really nice."

"This one's nice and lightweight. I could see how this would be a nice one for summer but it feels really nice. I mean I definitely have dry skin, their dry skin moisturizer definitely suits me best, but for summer this is really nice. It has no scent to it which is wonderful. Feels really nice on the skin. Doesn't look too greasy or shiny. I like it."

"This definitely does have a creamy element to it, but it's definitely much looser, more gel-like, maybe even a bit runny. It definitely bursts into hydration as you spread this on your skin. It feels incredibly hydrating. This is diving in a little bit deeper and I think it can help to soothe some symptoms of dehydration. But it's very, very light. Sinks in deep. And then right at the top of your skin, you're going to feel a skin softening effect. Your skin's going to feel very smooth. And there's just a kiss of really light moisture. Just that little bit of creaminess in the texture just very gently hugs everything in without weighing your skin down. So you get hydrated, slightly plump, and very soft skin at the surface, but your skin is still very much able to breathe. It's not feeling suffocated or weighed down. It feels really great, especially if you have a humid climate. I don't find this to be sticky or tacky at the surface. This sinks in very fast. You can move in with your sunscreen right away. The ingredients like the green tea and the niacinamide and even the zinc PCA have a soothing, calming, anti-inflammatory effect and can help to reduce redness on the skin. The really simple formula here makes it a great choice as well."
