What the gurus are saying

The silky, water-like texture absorbs quickly and works beautifully for combination skin, hydrating dry patches while staying light enough for oily zones without triggering breakouts or greasiness. Gurus praise the formula's thoughtful blend of squalane (which mimics skin's natural oils), eight types of hyaluronic acid, and soothing actives like panthenol and allantoin, noting it layers seamlessly under makeup and sunscreen for daytime wear. The takeaway: a genuinely effective everyday moisturizer that feels gentler than it performs, with enough sophistication to keep skin plump and calm without requiring heavy actives.

"This is still a favorite that I'm emptying time and time again. This is a better than basic barrier supporting moisturizer. It says it's created for dry, dehydrated, and sensitive skin, which it works great for, but my oily T-zone loves this moisturizer too. We have 150,000 ppm of squalane to replenish your moisture, keep your skin soft, and help support the skin barrier. They also have Quaxil in here, which is a patented complex of glucose and xylitol. I think they've removed that from their packaging, but that's still on the ingredient list, and this helps improve moisture retention and helps reduce transepidermal water loss over time. The brand also claims the cream helps balance excess sebum and minimizes the appearance of enlarged pores while maintaining a lightweight, non-irritating finish. I disagree with that pore claim, I didn't see any difference for me, but as far as moisturizing goes, if you want a moisturizer that does the basics, this is that, but in a 2026 version. It's lightweight, watery, it looks like a thick cream but then just melts into this watery texture, and that's what I look for in my creams. It's perfect for my dry cheeks."

What I Loved and Hated in Skincare This Month!
"It's kind of like a moisturizer that just goes out of its way to be more than a moisturizer with all these really up-to-date modern ingredients that are truly beneficial for the skin. It feels like a thick cream. I love it. I've bought so many of these. I stocked up when I went to Olive Young because I don't want to be without it."

"S.Nature Aqua Squalane Moisturizing Cream has 8 types of hyaluronic acid that basically optimizes how water is locked into your skin. They say it kind of teaches your skin how to hydrate itself. It also has Betaine, panthenol, allantoin to soothe and soften, and then collagen as well and peptides to help plump out the skin. This is just such a better than basic but nice basic everyday use moisturizer. It's amazing. S.Nature does represent that gentle, barrier-focused but powerful enough to keep your skin looking healthy and plump and calm without having to throw in any major actives."

"The Aqua Squalane Moisturizing Cream from S Nature is one I've only used for a week and I'm already scared to run out. I love a squalane moisturizer because, as someone with combination skin, it's moisturizing enough for my dry areas but not greasy for my oily T-zone. The texture is like a silky water, much more lightweight than you expect, and it absorbs super quickly, making your skin feel instantly smoother and hydrated. It has skin barrier-loving ingredients like panthenol, glycerin, hyaluronic acid and aquaxyl, and it's calming, non-irritating and gives a dewy, plump glow. This cream is everything people think Embryolisse is and what they claim it to be."

"For the daytime, I prefer a lighter cream and this one is really perfect for that. It's powered by squalane, which is an awesome ingredient because it mimics natural skin lipids without clogging your pores. This is ideal for combination or oily skin that still wants that hydration but doesn't want worsening acne or oiliness. This has been a great morning moisturizer for me because it layers really well under makeup and also sunscreen."
