Retinol Correction.

"Their percentage retinol is undisclosed, which is a little bit old fashion. Nowadays we disclose all our percentages. The Inkey List looks suggest that it's about 0.1% to 0.15%. The beauty with retinol is that it thickens the dermis over 12 to 16 weeks, which is the layer below the epidermis. But this formula has no anti-inflammatories, which is a problem because retinol can be irritating, especially around the eye area. There's no niacinamide, no bisabolol, no allantoin, no centella asiatica. And so retinol on the thinnest skin of the face without an anti-inflammatory on skin of color is a recipe for disaster and retinoid dermatitis followed by post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. That creates exactly the dark circles that you're trying to get rid of. And then for some wild reason they thought let's add in fragrance into the Inkey. So you basically just stacked the irritation risk further. The chemistry of the retinol is right, but the vehicle around it is wrong. This formula unfortunately gets a two out of 10. It's got fragrance in it, retinol which is irritating, no anti-inflammatories, wrong packaging, should be in an airless pump, and £25 at Target."
