What the gurus are saying

The dewy, smoothing finish earns consistent praise for creating a healthy, glowing look that melts into skin without looking dusty or glittery, and the formula is highly pigmented so a little goes a long way. However, experts split sharply on the packaging: some find the chunky stick size cute and portable, while others say it's too bulky for a pocket and the format feels wasteful and awkward to handle. Shade choice matters significantly, as the same pink (Piggy) reads cool-toned on some skin tones and warmer on others depending on what you layer underneath, so patch-testing first is wise.

"I did try their Pocket Blush. Was not a fan."

The Most Useless Blush ever?? | Roasting Rhode Pocket Blush
"I can't imagine this fitting comfortably and nicely in a pocket without making it look like you're smuggling something. No, it wouldn't. It just looks terrible. I thought this was a refill and you could take it out, which I don't think you can. I nearly just broke it. It's absolutely, really, really not okay. The shade is Freckle. It is kind of really shiny and creamy. Although there seems to be quite little product in the actual container, I actually don't think you're gonna get through all of that very quickly because it is quite pigmented."

"It's chunky. It's about this big. Nothing screams on the go pocket size about that. I don't understand the chunkiness of that product. Would I like a blush that's this thick? No, no. I like my stick blushes to be in a stick, or something that's more manageable. The packaging looks wasteful as well. Why do you need it to be that big?"

"Let's go in with a good old Rhode Pocket Blush. I've been so in love with the shade, Tan Line. I just barely purchased this during the Sephora sale and it's so good for summertime. It is a bit warmer than what I typically go for personally, but for summertime I think it works so well."

What I'd Genuinely Buy YOU at Sephora Right Now
"I love their pocket blushes, specifically in the shade Piggy, which is also kind of like a cool-toned pink, great for fair skin as well. And then Sleepy Girl, which I love actually layering together with Piggy. Sleepy Girl is a nice mauve shade. I love how dewy the Rhode blushes are. They just look so nice. They're so beautiful and they're already pretty well priced, especially for the quality, but on sale even better. Kind of a no-brainer."
FINALLY TRYING THIS NEW MAKEUP...
"The blushes seriously are so stunning like they're so smoothing and I love the soft glow that it gives the skin it just makes my skin look healthy there's no glitter in it it's the finish of the blush that's doing that. Really excited about the blushes, right now I feel like it lives up to the hype."
Why did I ever stop using this? 🤯 (January Favorites)
"This month I cannot get enough of the Rhode Pocket Blush in the shade Piggy. This is the most perfect cool tone shade, especially for winter, especially for fair skin. It is divine. The finish of this is also really nice. It's going to make your skin look nice and healthy and glowy and hydrated. I love using this as part of my lip combo as well. I'll just tap a bit in the center of the lips for just the most phenomenal kind of monochromatic look. I love matching my cheeks to my lips and so I love finding a product that I can use literally the same color on my cheeks and my lips and this is just 10 out of 10 for me. Plus the packaging is really really cute. If you are like me and you like to wear powder but you don't want to look dusty, this is a great blush to add."
THE BEST MAKEUP OF 2024!!! (Final Episode)
"I have to shout out the Rhode Pocket Blushes from this year, two shades specifically that I wore like crazy. Sleepy Girl is a beautiful mauve, and I layer Piggy on the apples of the cheeks. Piggy nods to a bubblegum pink but is more muted and very wearable, so I love layering the two. The formula is fabulous on these."

"I love the Rhode Pocket Blushes. I have two shades here. I do plan on picking up another shade or two. I was thinking of Piggy, which is that baby pink shade in the collection. I have Tan Line, which gives like that natural sunburnt look to the skin. There's a little bit of that brown undertone, but you still have some of that pinky red tone in there as well, which I think looks beautiful on so many skin tones. And I also have in the shade Sparkle. And this has a pearlescent in it. It's not super sparkly. Honestly, if you're someone that loves to wear highlighter, you still could because there really isn't a lot of shimmer in here. Like, I really don't see it when I have it on my skin. But I really love these two shades. They're longwearing. I love cream and liquid blushes. I only wear cream and liquid. I don't even resort to powder blushes anymore because I just feel like cream and liquid just melt into the skin. It looks more natural and realistic, more skin-like, and I much prefer that than powder. So, if you love cream blushes and you haven't tried the Rhode Pocket Blushes yet, I really do recommend it."

SEPHORA VIB SALE RECOMMENDATIONS | SPRING SAVINGS EVENT 2026 - SKINCARE, MAKEUP, HAIRCARE & MORE!
"I really love the Rhode Pocket Blushes. These seem to be my go-to as of late, but I just recently picked up shade Piggy. It's that really nice cool tone pink, but on me, it doesn't really show that super cool toned look. It actually is not for me at all. You can see that I have a pink blush on, but it's not super cool toned like I do see on some other people. I think depending on your skin tone, depending on the bronzer that maybe you have on prior will change the color of this slightly. It might deepen it depending on what you have going on underneath. But I really like this shade. I think that this is my favorite shade. And then my second favorite is Tan Line. That one has more warmth in it. You can actually use that as a bronzer as well. The formulation is truly on point."
