What the gurus are saying

Visible pore reduction of around 15 to 20 percent after consistent use for one to three months is what gurus keep reporting, making this stand out as genuinely effective where most pore serums do nothing. The blend of encapsulated retinol, salicylic acid, niacinamide, and perlite also calms acne-prone skin and helps with dark spots, though results take patience; most gurus suggest waiting a month before expecting to see shrinkage. A little goes a long way, so it lasts several months even with daily use.

"The pore size serum I love because it's one of the few products that actually works. Many brands claim to help shrink pores but none of them ever do. This actually did work for me. You do have to be consistent, using it twice a day morning and evening for a couple of months, and that's when you'll see results but they will come. Because you need such a little amount and only apply it to areas with enlarged pores like across the nose, one bottle will last four or five months, making it really cost effective. By the time you've used one bottle you will have seen so many results that you will be compelled to buy another. I'm on bottle three or four and can't see myself using any other pore reducing product."

The FUTURE OF ANTI AGING - Ultimate Skincare Routine 2025
"This is the Remedy Clear Serum for pore size. I have quite large pores on my nose, and honestly they're probably one of the biggest sources of insecurity for me. I've struggled with this for years and nothing's ever worked except this. This is the only product that's had a meaningful impact on my pores. I use it where I have the enlarged pores, which is on the nose and just the side here, and it actually works. You could use this all over as a treatment if you wanted, but that's where I get those enlarged pores and it works because I use so little. This lasts me literally forever. I would say that product will take maybe like a month to 6 weeks to work, so set your expectations, but after a month or 6 weeks, you'll definitely see your pore size diminish."
ALL-TIME GREATEST SERUMS 🏆 - 5 Serums Everyone Needs To Try
"This is the only product which genuinely minimizes the appearance of your pores. If your biggest insecurity is pore size and visible pores like mine used to be, get this. Use it in a targeted way. I just use this on the nose to keep everything in check and it actually delivers. This is one of the greatest skincare serums of all time because it actually works and there is nothing else like it on the market that actually delivers in the same way. It worked from day one and that definitely gives it cult holy grail status."
BEST SKINCARE 2025 🥇- Greatest Serums, Cleansers and Moisturizers
"This actually works. Now, set your expectations. This isn't going to eliminate your pores overnight, but it will take them down in size by about 15 to 20% after 3 months of consistent use. That's good. That is a really good outcome. A 20% reduction in the size of your pores in 3 months. That's actually a lot. That's really impressive. And I think this is a really great product to include in your skincare routine if pore size is like your number one skin concern or insecurity. It works really, really well. And just trust me, I've tried so many pore minimizing serums. This is the only one that's actually worked."
SKINCARE OF THE YEAR 2025 - Best Black Friday Skincare Sales Im Buying
"This is the only pore minimizing serum I've ever used that actually minimizes the size of your pores. I don't think I need to say any more than that. If you have large pores, you want something that actually works. This is the only one I've ever tried that does just that."
No1 ANTI AGING SERUM 2025 - Reduce Wrinkles Fast
"I also love this product here which is great for just evening out the complexion fading hyper pigmentation and dark spots."
SKINCARE LIVE - Chat, Giveaways, Skincare Gossip and more
"I use it daily, stunning. I don't really need to say much more than that, it's great. Genuinely works. Very few products will actually shrink your pores, that actually does. So it's not going to be the cheapest product you ever buy, but if you want something that actually reduces your pore size, it delivers. So totally would recommend it, and I'd recommend the whole line. The whole Remedy skincare line is great, I love it."
Groundbreaking New Skincare - 5 SERUMS THAT CHANGE EVERYTHING 2025
"Beautiful price point, fantastic ingredients, really well thought through formulations. I think that's the key thing I would say about Remedy is there's thought into every single formulation, which I love to see. But by far and away, the best they have to offer is this one designed to tackle pore size. And the reason that I say this is groundbreaking is having tried just about every single product that claims to be able to shrink the size of your pores, this is the only one that actually worked. I would say having used this consistently, and consistency is the key with any pore treatment, I've seen a roughly 20% reduction in the overall size and appearance of my pores. I have never before achieved that with any other product. So, I'm here to say that Remedy, therefore, pore size is offering something truly different on the market and that it actually works. Now, of course, pore size is something that's genetically led. So, some people will just be predisposed to have larger pores than other people and there's not a whole lot you can do with pore size. But, if you can shrink the size of your pores by 20% using an affordable product like this, I think that's pretty amazing. And this for me is groundbreaking because it delivers."
Greatest SKINCARE BRAND 2026 - This Brand Took 10 Years Off My Skin
"I love it. If you read on the back, they've list all the ingredients and what they do. Transparency 101. The packaging is beautiful. Locks tight so you can travel with it without it spilling all over your case. You use this in a targeted way on the areas where you have enlarged pores. Within about 3 weeks, you'll start to see them shrink down. It just works. For anyone that's tried so much invested so much of their coin in useless treatments for pore size, just get this. It actually works. I've been so impressed. When I find a brand that actually just gives you reasonable expectations and then delivers them and in most cases exceeds them, I'm wowed. This brand clearly says what the product's going to do and they deliver it."
#1 SERUM 2025 - Top 10 Serums Revealed
"I fell in love with Remedy as a skincare brand around this time last year. I've now tried all of their products, and there's not a bad one amongst them. I think the best of the best is this. I've tried a lot of products over the years to shrink the size of my pores, and none of them have done anything. Literally, all of them hot garbage until I reached for this. You can use this all over the face if you like, or you can use it in a targeted way. For me, I just use it on the nose and the edge, the side of the nose, too. And this really makes a difference. Be consistent. You'll need to use it every day for about a month before you start seeing those results. But trust me, it's worth it because I use it in a targeted way. A little does go a long way. And one of these will last me like 6 months. So definitely a good value product. If you're sick of all of those pore minimizing serums that do nothing, try this out. I promise you, you won't be disappointed. The packaging is amazing, easy to travel with, and just a phenomenal product."
#1 SERUM 2025 - This $10 Serum Beats Them All (best serum 2025)
"This is the remedy for pore size. Now, there are a million and one products out there which will claim to shrink the size of your pores. And let me tell you, having tried just about every single one of them, none of them actually work. The only product I have ever reached for that's had a meaningful and noticeable impact on my pore size is this one. This has all the ingredients you need in it in order to shrink down the size of your pores, decongest them, get rid of those blackheads, get rid of those sebaceous filaments, keep everything in check. This also has some oil controlling ingredients in here too, which is fantastic if, like me, you're a grease slick all summer long. This is a really nice product to use. Now, you can use it all over the face. I tend to just use it on the areas where I have those enlarged pores where I get particularly greasy, the T-zone and just at the absolute periphery of my face as well. I seem to get super oily by the ears. But I'll use it on these areas just to keep everything under control oil-wise. And it genuinely impacts the size of your pores. Consistency is key. You're going to want to use this probably for a full four to six weeks before you start seeing those results, but it's absolutely worth it. This isn't a super expensive product when you think of the results you get. I definitely think it's worth it."
2025 SKINCARE HALL OF FAME - All The 10/10 Skincare I Used This Year
"This isn't going to transform the size of your pores, shrink them into nothingness or anything like that, but it will definitely have an improvement and make a difference. If you've ever tried a pore shrinking product and it's just done nothing, that's probably the reality of most out there. This actually works. I'd say you probably get like a 10, 15, 20% reduction in pore size if you use this consistently. And that for me is the best that I've ever found in terms of product. So this is getting a firm 10 out of 10. This is a long-term investment. Use it consistently for a couple of months, and that's really when you're going to see that real improvement in terms of pore size."

"This can really help calm and soothe acne prone skin and can reduce the amount of acne you're getting. This is my claim coming from three clients who have used this product who are all three acne prone, one of them has a lot of acne. The brand says it's for pore size which is true but I think this also works really well on acne prone skin. So I give this an 8 out of 10. And if you've ever heard my ratings before you know an 8 out of 10 is creme de la creme, the best of the best."

"I pulled out the Remedy pore treatment. I want to make sure I say I'm not the one who really used this, it was gifted by the brand, and I just didn't feel like it fit into my routine that well. My partner loved it so much though, she still can't stop talking about the brand."

Skincare EMPTIES: the oversaturation of peptides (oh no)

Worth the Splurge?! Tower 28 gets it, Tatcha wants too much $$, & More!
"This is Remedy, Dr. Sandra Lee's skincare brand. I absolutely love the informative website, you can go on it and understand exactly what ingredients these products contain and why. The Remedy for Pore Size is powered by retinol, salicylic acid, niacinamide, green tea and peptide, and the prices are not bad at all for a dermatologist owned brand. The one problem I ran into is I already use a retinoid, and when I got my partner who also uses retinol into it, about a week after incorporating this into her routine her face started peeling from overusing a retinoid, since this product also has salicylic acid on top of that. So I like these products but I do ultimately feel a little confused, because if you've watched Dr. Lee talk about the benefits of retinoids, it's odd that they'd put retinol into an all in one like this. Nonetheless these are good all in ones, especially if you are new to skincare, these can be so worth it."
Medicube's (Latest) Controversy...& more: Skincare Try on August 26
"This one is a Clear Serum, and I didn't know if it was going to add a lot to my routine since I'm already testing their copper peptide serum. But it is sinking into my skin really nicely. A lot of the hydrating serums I've tried lately just kind of sit on the surface of my skin, and this one is going right into it, completely absorbed. I am actually really impressed with that one. I think to absolutely nobody's surprise, I am just most impressed with the remedy serum. My expectation was low, but my actual experience with it was way up here."

Are Dermatologist Skincare Brands Actually Any Good? 🤔 Remedy, Dr Idriss, Prequel
"I did cut down on everything so I was using this as my only poor targeted exfoliating product whilst testing it and using other actives in the morning but my skin's been absolutely fine. There is a pore here that does my head in it constantly looks like I have a small spacious filament in and I've seen a lot of improvement in that one pore over the last three weeks and I think it's just because I'm consistently using this product. I've seen such an obvious difference to the appearance of my pore size using this particular concoction of ingredients in this serum delivery kind of method than I have done using typical BHA chemical exfoliant for example. I'm excited to use this for another four or five weeks to really see in the long run how much it improves the pores especially on my nose."
Are These New Skincare Launches Worth Your Money?...YES
"This has 0.3% encapsulated retinol, 1% encapsulated salicylic acid, 5% niacinamide, green tea, perlite, and kinetin which helps improve skin texture and helps minimize pores. For me at the moment it's got that very gentle exfoliation with all the benefits that somebody with combination skin like mine can benefit from. No irritation whatsoever, none at all. The instructions do say use a pea-size amount but I've actually been using a little bit more just because I feel like I have a giant forehead and I do need to use that little bit extra. It's always a test of will this new product irritate my skin before I start seeing results, and so far no irritation and hopefully soon I'm going to start seeing results. Early days still but I'm excited by this for sure."
Yay
"Remedy for Pore Size has retinol, about zero point one percent, to help improve cell turnover, salicylic acid to help dissolve the oil that accumulates in the pores, niacinamide and green tea to help regulate oil production, and perlite, which is a mattifying agent that helps absorb oil and make the skin look less shiny. It spreads easily, there's clearly no fragrance and no irritation to the skin. My initial impressions of this product are really great. It's thirty two dollars, so it's a little less expensive than Remedy for Dark Spots and really not out of reach for most people if you're going to get longevity out of the product."

Dark Spots? Large Pores? Dry Lips? REMEDY BY DR. SHAH IS FINALLY HERE!
"This is targeting your specific skincare concern with salicylic acid, niacinamide, green tea, and perlite. I'm like obsessed with the functionality of oil glands. This will both decrease oil production, salicylic acid will break up the oil and gently exfoliate, you will decrease oil production again with green tea and niacinamide, and it will absorb oil with perlite. I'm optimistic that this is going to be an extremely helpful product. You can use this product all over the face. Because this has retinol, this has niacinamide, this has salicylic acid, it's going to treat a lot of different things. It's going to have texture benefits, it's going to have even anti-aging benefits."

It has all the preventative ingredients in it, it has all the antioxidants in it, it has all the peptides and retinoids in it that's really going to support your skin over time so that you can have a healthy skin barrier, healthy skin, age in a healthy manner. This is all really truly about skin health and that's really kind of the focus and the thesis of the brand."
OILY SKIN? INTRODUCING OUR NEWEST REMEDY CLEANSER AND MOISTURIZER
"This has a combination of products for oil control, removing oil, including salicylic acid, green tea, niacinamide, encapsulated retinol. And this is your complete treatment step for your routine. So this is great for pores, but it's also great for oily skin because of all those ingredients there. But even though those are the two main things it does, which is pores and oily skin, it doesn't mean that it's not going to help with dark spots because it has retinol and it has niacinamide. So there's this overlap, and if you have, for example, aging skin, fine lines and wrinkles, that retinol and that niacinamide will make a big difference. So it's not like just because it's targeted towards pores it won't do more. I actually used this for almost a year straight without nearly any interruption."

What the evidence says.

Independent of what the gurus think, this is what the published research supports about the main active ingredients here.

Retinoids

Retinoids are among the best studied ingredients in dermatology, with solid evidence for acne and for the fine lines and rough texture that come from sun exposure. Dryness and flaking in the first few weeks are common and usually settle.

Source: DermNet

Niacinamide

Niacinamide has evidence behind it for redness, uneven tone and supporting the skin barrier, and it is usually well tolerated even by skin that reacts to most things.

Source: DermNet

Salicylic acid

Salicylic acid dissolves in oil, so it can get into a pore rather than just working on the surface. That is why it has long-standing evidence for blackheads and milder acne.
