"I put on the NYX Wonder Snatch Concealer, shade 12 natural, underneath each eye and blended it out. It blended out really nicely, nice and smooth, a little bit brightening, definitely covered up my bluey pinky under eyes. But the under eye concealer I'm not in love with either. For most of the day I thought it looked okay, it was still in place, but I did feel like the skin under my eyes looked extra dry and extra wrinkly, and now it is very worn off at the inner corners. It does look very dry, very crepey. Can save your money on that one as well."

"My new favorite concealer of the moment is the Wonder Snatch Concealer from NYX. The reason I love this so much is because it does not look heavy underneath the eyes and as far as I'm concerned it's not drying underneath the eyes either. I get a very smooth application, very easy to blend out, very easy to blend into the skin. It doesn't sit on the surface and look makeup-y. I would like to mention, however, that Stephanie Marie has a completely different opinion to me. As far as Stephanie is concerned this sits in the dryness underneath her eyes. It doesn't sit in mine. I love it, but I definitely want you to be aware that there are differing opinions out there, not just mine."

"This is the one issue that has knocked my Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place concealer off its perch. The one that has just delivered on every single level. Not only does it look even more natural than the Stay-in-Place concealer from Estee Lauder, it equally doesn't crease. It doesn't look heavy. It's super lightweight and it's not drying on the under eyes. Did I mention it's affordable as well? I mean, what is not to like about this product? This is from NYX and it's the Wonder Snatch Concealer. The one issue with this product is the shade range is difficult to navigate. I would definitely go into store where you can swatch some of these on the back of your hand. This shade is 08 vanilla. I thought this was going to be too yellowy for me, but I am in that stage where I do like to add a little bit of blush underneath my eyes, so I can get away with this. I thought this was also going to be way too fair for me and highlight every single little bit of blue underneath my eyes that I have and I was wrong. It's very very natural. It doesn't crease. I mean, I do have crinkles underneath my eyes, but I don't find that this creases at all and I don't powder this in place. If you want a concealer that you don't need to apply powder to, this is quite a luminous concealer. So, as long as you don't mind that and you're not having to dim down the sheen, I don't think you're going to have an issue with this. I find the luminosity does help to disguise your under eye circles even more and this is a medium to full coverage. If you have really dark circles, I would definitely try some of this and see how it fares on your skin. I love it. I'm so so pleased cuz I was in love with the Wonder Snatch Foundation. Although, it's not one that I gravitate towards all the time cuz it is a very medium to full coverage foundation and generally, I don't go for something that full coverage. But, this has just shown and not let me down at all. I just think it's superb."

"I tried the NYX Wonder Snatch [...] Concealer in the shade 06 Fair [...] underneath my eyes. This color is nice and brightening on me, it's also quite smoothing, which is nice. It definitely gives really nice coverage underneath the eyes, I really like that, and I really loved the concealer."

"It does look beautiful. I like NYX a lot. I really like them and I believe that this concealer will be a good concealer. I'll buy it if I'm out, I'll definitely be interested in it. But the whole snatched thing, I'm like, what does that mean? Because snatched to me is like lifted, sculpted. But in order to sculpt the face, you have to have comparison. So what I'm saying is snatched depends on, not one product, not one concealer. It depends on what other products you're wearing."

What the evidence says.

Independent of what the gurus think, this is what the published research supports about the main active ingredients here.

Sunscreen filters

Sun protection is the best evidenced way to slow visible ageing, and the filters are what does the work. Mineral and chemical filters both protect when a product is applied thickly enough and often enough, which is where most people fall short rather than on the choice of filter.

Peptides

Peptides are short protein fragments meant to signal repair. The evidence for them is thinner than for retinoids or vitamin C, and it varies a lot by the specific peptide, so the category is more promising than proven.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E is an antioxidant, and it is often in a formula to keep the other ingredients stable rather than as the active itself. It pairs well with vitamin C, though on its own the evidence for visible change is limited.
