"This is wonderful to use to bring your skin barrier back to normal. It has that nice milkiness to it where it provides a lot of moisture, it makes that skin barrier nice and strong and repaired, and it just gives instant relief within a minute or so your skin feels a lot better and you just have that comfort again. You can use this every day as a preventative or you can just use this when your skin needs it. I use this mostly in the winter months because that's when my skin is more compromised, it's more dry and it's feeling tight because of the drier, colder weather, that's when I start to incorporate this in my night time or in my morning routine. This is something that I've talked a lot about and this had to be in this video because this is a lifesaver, it's a gamechanging product that works almost immediately. This is actually great for those that have sensitive skin, dryness, flakiness, your skin is inflamed, it's red, it's really irritated. This will bring your skin back to life. It will bring it back to that normal state. I like to use this more in the winter when my skin does feel more irritated and dry. It's very repairing. It keeps that skin nice and strong and healthy. It's also very hydrating as well. And if you have a lot of redness, it will subside on that rosiness as well. If you're starting tretinoin for the first time or retinol, glycolic acid, something like that that tends to dry out and irritate the skin, start using this alongside those actives to keep the skin as nourished as possible, keeping it hydrated and strong. This will help to prevent further dryness and irritation when you're using those actives. Or just use this whenever your skin is feeling angry. Everybody should have this serum in their collection for when they need it. It has like this really nice comforting thick milky consistency that spreads across the skin so nicely. You can use this on your neck and your chest if you need to. And it always sits great with other skincare products and even your makeup."

"I've been using this one the longest as this one has been out for quite a while and this never ever disappoints. I've actually never timed it but this is actually one of the only serums that will give me instant relief so if my skin does feel like it has that itch that burning sensation I would say probably within 5 minutes or so that itch and that burn has subsided. And I promise you, if your skin is going through it, maybe you've had a little too much sun, maybe you've got a lot of stress and that's appearing in your skin, you might have overdone it with your actives, whatever's happening, if your skin is stressed out and screaming, apply this before you go to bed and you will wake up with your skin returned to equilibrium, this is phenomenal. And there's two ways you can use it. You can either use it as a treatment when your skin is going through it, which is what I personally do, or if you're somebody that has very reactive and sensitive skin, use this as a daily step in your evening skincare routine to prevent inflammation and sensitivity."

"Lots of other like hidden gems you really have to read the full ingredients, which they break apart by each ingredient on their website to truly appreciate how effective this serum is. I know people that say they've got super sensitive skin from going in with like two harsh an exfoliant or going with two higher actives, they've used this and within like 30 minutes the skin is restored, it's balanced, it just works like a miracle. If you've got super sensitive skin and you've struggled for years to get on top of that, try this, incorporate it twice a day in your skincare routine and you'll see results after the first couple of days. It's amazing. Yes, it has a slightly higher price point but for me I think that's worth it if it's what your skin actually needs. If you need advanced and your skin craves that, yeah, when they do it right they do it really right and this is a product that I definitely think is worth the investment."

It's just an amazing product and next level formulations, this is what I'm really talking about."

Now, as somebody that tends to only have dryness prone skin in the really cool winter months, I'm only putting two of these on order. It's slightly thicker than the others, so it's great if you have a more dryness prone skin type but still want something lightweight. The modulating glucosides in here are fantastic if you have an impaired barrier function or really sensitive skin, it's a savior. I keep it on hand for when I have irritation, shaving rash, or if I've overdone it with an active, and after a couple of nights everything is restored to equilibrium. You can even use it as your moisturizer at the end of your routine. "If your skin is very irritated, it is singing, it is burning, it is itching, maybe you are having a flare-up of rosacea or of eczema, I would really suggest if your skin is in an extreme state of ailing go for NIOD Modulating Glucosides Serum. This is an interesting one because it uses plant-based ceramides as well as some other lipids which will help your skin barrier. But this one is particularly one of my favorites when my skin is feeling incredibly irritated, which is another symptom that your skin barrier needs some strengthening and it can often accompany dehydration."
