You don't see it a lot on the market, but those lipids will just help those copper peptides penetrate a little bit deeper. I find you get slightly quicker results with a lipid based copper peptide. So I tried it twice, I'm not trying a third time, because now I know it just doesn't agree with my skin. Something about the formula does not agree with my skin. "In here we've got 1% copper peptides, we've got squalene, we've got glycol, we've got Bible little for soothing and then we also have an ingredient called L blue which is an extract coming from a rare blue green algae that's to have retinoid effects, retinoid like effects but without the dryness and peeling and things that go along with retinoids and also has great skin smoothing benefits for your skin. This is probably my fourth tube of this. The first couple tubes I used I didn't love it. The second tube it took me like months to finish it and then they had it on sale last year so I picked up a couple more tubes and it really worked even better. I don't know why the first couple tubes of it I didn't love. I think it maybe my skin a little bit congested and things like that but the last couple tubes of it I love it, definitely repurchase it. It's 71 bucks, it's pricey but a little bit of it goes a long way. A tube like this lasts with nightly use I don't know three months or so. Very nice overall comes in the metal tube. Although once you open it you do have to start using it, you can't just let it sit around for a while because then it starts to separate but overall really nice copper peptide product."

It is in a very hydrating gel formula, and for very acne-prone skin I would not recommend this, but if you have dry skin or oily skin that's not acne-prone, give it a whirl. Although this does use an encapsulated copper peptide, copper is my favorite part here."

However, during a sale it was a really really good deal, I think it was half off, I think it was last Black Friday sale, so I picked it up and actually I ended up really enjoying it. So I've repurchased it now since then. It's 93 bucks, kind of expensive."

"This stuff is pretty thick, it has a kind of an almost an ointment-like texture to it which I love for my dry skin, but it has broken me out a handful of times even when my skin isn't blemish prone, so keep that in mind. But copper peptides are wonderful for anti-aging. Just be cautious how you use them. You don't want to use them with a lot of actives, especially ones that have a low pH, because it can break up the peptide bond. So you don't want to use it with glycolic acid or certain exfoliants, lactic acid, things like that. Or if you do, be sure to use a neutralized product in between them so that the copper peptides can do their job without being disturbed by the low pH of actives. They're very strong antioxidants."

"The formula is great, it just feels slimy and greasy and it feels like it sits on top of my face. I didn't finish it right away because it was greasy and I broke off from it, so I let it sit for a couple months and then I went to finish it. Depending on what type of texture you are looking for, that will determine which one to go with. I always chose the serum because it's easier to use, it's thin, it's lightweight, it layers up nicely with skincare, and I've never had an issue with peeling. When you use something that is a little bit thicker, sometimes depending on the other products that you're using in your skincare routine like moisturizers, sunscreen, makeup, or even other serums, there's always that chance of pilling. "I've been testing out the NIOD Copper Amino Isolate Lipid 1%. I've tried their copper peptides in the past but this I feel like I've tried it in the past too. I like it, it's oily, it's shiny. But this new packaging they need to rework this. I barely had it for a week now of use and the label is peeling right off. I understand why they do that but it's like come on guys, get it together with whatever adhesive you have on there. It needs to adhere, it's not adhering."

"This is around 90 bucks, which is a lot, but I will say I've really enjoyed using this. I've been using it now for two weeks just at night over my treatment, as like the last step. It's really oily when I wake up the next morning. I have not seen any dramatic change. My skin is moisturized, fine lines are smoothed down, but I'm not seeing like a major transformation. The overall texture, consistency, formulation, the delivery system, I'd like to see some more brands dipping into this shape because I really like it. It's almost like it wants to be an oil.
