What the gurus are saying

One expert found the dewy finish appealing and notes it works as sunscreen if that shimmer is what someone is after. However, the main concern centres on buying sunscreen at discount retailers: without knowing how it was stored or when it expires, there is a real risk of grabbing a bottle close to its end date that may not last through the season. That means anyone considering this route may want to check the date carefully or buy from a primary retailer instead.

"This was Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Body Mist, and this one was June of 2026. If you're buying a sunscreen at TJ Maxx, you don't know how it was stored or who they're buying it from. I wouldn't want to purchase a sunscreen that's close to expiration when I don't know if I can use the entire bottle before it expires."

"The Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Body Mist will give you the look of that dewy product which everybody under a certain age loves. If you're the person who wants that look, it will work. And it's sunscreen, so if you want to put it on for the shine, it will work all right."
