Comparing it to other retinol-based moisturizers, I think it's more on the creamier and richer side, but it actually in clinical studies has demonstrated to be very effective at targeting fine lines, wrinkles, skin texture, and skin tone. Johnson & Johnson conducted an eight-week double-blind study of 40 women who used this moisturizer once daily and they noticed a significant improvement in fine lines, wrinkles, skin texture, and skin tone, as well as improvement in under-eye wrinkles. Some of that improvement was noticed even within the first week of use. This does come in a fragrance and non-fragrance version. I always recommend picking the fragrance-free version for a few reasons. Number one, with this formulation I think it's great for those who are really new and starting off with retinols. If you're new to retinols it can be irritating, so looking for a retinol product that is fragrance-free can help improve tolerance when you have never used a retinol before. Two, if you have sensitive skin and want to use a retinol, when it's fragrance-free that formulation is going to be better tolerated by your skin. So in general I recommend retinols, especially if you are new to using retinols, picking formulations that are fragrance-free and or if you have sensitive skin."

I find this formulation to work really well for my skin that tends to be on the drier side, or if in the winter time you're looking for a retinol product that's not going to be as dry and irritating, I think this would be a really good formulation to try. It's something you can just apply at night after cleansing to your face and it's a one-stop shop of getting the treatment and moisturizer in one because of the gentle and rich formulation. This can even be a great option to use as an eye cream or neck cream as tolerated. For individuals who don't want to buy another anti-aging wrinkle eye cream or want a retinol-based product that's going to be less irritating and nourishing on the neck, I think this would be a great option to try. I have certainly used this fairly regularly on my neck without any issues, even though my neck is super sensitive and I really can't use retinols on it regularly."
