"Hero Cosmetics Rescue Balm is another really popular one that's actually really quite affordable. This is their redness correct color correcting green serum. This is a heavier color correction, much heavier than the La Roche-Posay one, so it can be a little heavy for some people, but I think it's going to do a better job correcting color than the La Roche-Posay one."

"This formulation is really hydrating and nice and it's a very simple formulation. It has methanol in it to soothe the skin and it has some peptides in it to help your skin barrier. Since I have found this product and seen how good it works on my skin, it is what I'm exclusively wearing instead of makeup on work days because it does just enough to correct all my redness and give me an even skin tone. I don't have to put on anything else after this. I get a ton of compliments about this product, and I've had messages from people who have also used it and really loved it. I usually just blend it out with my fingers, but sometimes you can grab a beauty blender if you want to really make sure it's even everywhere."

"Hero Cosmetics Rescue Balm Plus Red Correct, now I love this stuff. They have two versions from Hero: the Rescue Balm and then the Plus Red Correct. They are a post-blemish cream, basically meant to help heal and mend up your skin after a pimple has occurred, and it works, it absolutely works. I do get pimples that pop, I rub a little bit of this on it and that peely, broken skin just starts to smooth over and heal up a lot faster. They're relying on some skin healing peptides to help make all of that happen. What I really like about the Red Correct is that it has some green tint to it. Green cancels out the red on the skin, so when you have something with a little bit of green tint and you have redness on your skin, you don't see the green tint but you actually neutralize some of that redness. It doesn't look as red and angry and as obvious. I particularly like this one for pimples that haven't figured out what they want to do yet and you want to cover some of that inflammation and redness. But honestly, sometimes I just use this as a very subtle makeup product. I always have natural redness around my nose, I'll put a little bit there and all of a sudden my complexion looks a lot more even."
