What the gurus are saying

This thick, creamy texture requires real effort to blend under the eyes, and reviewers split on whether that's worth it. Some found it too taxing and quit using it, while others valued it but preferred a lower-priced alternative. Those with very dry under eyes who are comfortable with retinol and willing to invest the blending effort may find it worthwhile, though texture-sensitive users should patch-test first.

"The Glow Recipe Avocado Melt Retinol Eye Cream is again a nice one, but out of the two she would get the one from The Inkey List, price-wise."

"I remember not liking this. I remember this being almost too thick for my under eyes and thinking, this is taking so long to rub in. This is just too creamy. They call it rich, creamy, luxurious. I remember thinking, this is too much effort. I just remember being like, oh, I can't do this anymore. I just didn't use it. I'll be honest, this is probably one of the only Glow Recipe products I don't enjoy using. I just don't enjoy it. The Avocado range are probably the least exciting for me. It's just the one product that I was like, I just don't enjoy this. But if you have very dry under eyes and you're fine with retinol, you'll probably enjoy this one. But for me, it was too thick. Too thick."
