"I swear that product was gripping us by our balls like 8 years ago, but nowadays I rarely see people using it. I don't really like that product. It is very expensive and very fragranced. It appeals to what luxury skin care clients are looking for, which is a ton of fragrance. The primary ingredients in the serum are dimethicone and different forms of silicones, which are found in some of the most affordable skin care and makeup products out there. They're by no means special ingredients, and given they're at such a high concentration in the serum, I think it's reflective of a mid formula at best. Like most luxury skin care products, you're paying for the name and the formula actually really isn't that great. So I personally wouldn't recommend that one."

"Estée Lauder made anti-aging a mainstream beauty category really with the release of this, and it kind of markets itself as DNA repair for your skin. It's been reformulated several times and is still on the market today, which is amazing. There's not a lot of mainstream products that last that long. Most products either get reformulated or changed, or the brands change hands. So to have a product that's still very similar to the original one is not very common. I just purchased this a couple months ago, before some of the news broke about some of the scandals and things, so I'm going to finish it because I already bought it."

"This serum contains a bifida lysate ferment, which is a patented ingredient patented by the company Estee. This ingredient helps in soothing the skin and maintaining the barrier function of skin, it is a probiotic. Along with this, it also has adenosine, which helps in slowing the process of aging. It feels really moisturizing, nourishing, hydrating on the skin. It also contains some anti-inflammatory and antioxidant agents which help in lightening dark spots. Overall, it is just very nourishing on the skin, so this serum works really well. The Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum has been a cult favorite of many. It's very very expensive, I have still been using the PR packages that have been sent because it's really expensive, but if you are somebody who is thinking of splurging on a night serum then this one is a really good choice. You don't need to use it every night, you can even just use this only on days where you feel that your skin requires that extra love and that extra moisture and nourishment. I like to use it in very small drops. I first apply my treatment cream for my melasma and then I use the serum and then go ahead and apply a layer of moisturizer, that's how I prefer to use it. You can use this just as the only serum that you use on your face and then go on with a moisturizer, that is also fine."

"Is it worth the hype? No, but I've used it in the past and I've got great results. Do I think it works? Absolutely. I think everyone online saying oh my God this is the best thing that ever existed, no, but I did like it. So I think it's expensive for what it is, but if you're getting it as a treat for your birthday, absolutely fine, it's nice, it's a nice serum. I think people online saying it's the only serum you need, it's the best thing that's ever happened, are overhyping it, but it's a really nice serum, so I've always enjoyed it when I've used it in the past."

"The next product hasn't been a dud product. I had forgotten how much I love it, it's iconic for a reason. It's Estée Lauder's Advanced Night Repair. I've been traveling with her a lot of late so I bought the biggie and then I bought these little tiny ones. I got these at the airport, I think they're about a tenner each, and one of these will last you probably three to four days, probably even five. I got the medium size one and this is the one that's live, I have about this much left, and when this is gone then I'm going to be buying a new one. I just kind of refill it and keep the full one over here in my little fridge. It's definitely something that I'm going to keep buying over and over again, she's a dud product."

"It retails for $125 for 50ml. This is the iconic little brown bottle that we all see everywhere, it's kind of what I think of first when I think of Estée Lauder skincare products. It's actually really popular in Asia; in China, this is like the product to get. Estée Lauder is a very well-respected cosmetic company, they definitely make wonderful formulations that work well, and they actually do quite a bit of research, but certainly at this price point it's not for everyone. As for the formula: it's really ideal for those seeking a nighttime serum to tackle anti-aging concerns, namely fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin texture and skin tone. It contains hyaluronic acid, which is fairly ubiquitous, to help hydrate the skin. It also contains a tri-peptide 32 that helps support skin renewal and rejuvenation and may help support collagen synthesis. It also contains their exclusive ChronoxY technology, we don't really know exactly what's in it, but essentially it's a blend of ingredients that helps support skin self-repair and self-renewal overnight as you sleep to address those concerns of skin aging. It also contains antioxidants like vitamin E and caffeine, along with lactobacillus ferment, which is great for hydrating and brightening the skin, along with other floral and plant-derived extracts. So just a really nice, elegant serum to use at nighttime."

"The poster child for this ingredient is actually the Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum. They're the ones that pretty much did all the studies on this ingredient, showing that it helps to calm and soothe the skin. I wanted to hate that product because it's one of those heritage products that's been on the market forever, but it's actually fragrance free, and I actually loved it when I used it. The biggest pitfall of this product is that it's super expensive, closer to that $100 range, so it's hard for me to always recommend it, but it actually is a really nice product with a lot of data, and they have a patented peptide that's part of this formula. Specifically, it has this bifida ferment extract that's been shown to be helpful for people with sensitive skin."
