"Number one reason is it has perfume in it. I can't think of another product that actually has perfume in it from the dermatology. So, I'm not sure why they put perfume in here. It must be because it's masking a scent is the only reason I can think. But it does have five different vitamin C derivatives. If you can't tolerate eloscorbic acid and you don't mind a little bit of fragrance in your products, you might want to give this a try. But just for me personally, I can't really recommend a vitamin C formula that has fragrance in it. Just doesn't make sense to me personally."

SKINCARE Fails & Faves for Mature Over 50 Skin (DRMTLGY 30% BlackFriday/Cyber Monday Sale)
"As far as Vitamin C formulas I'm not a fan of the Vitamin C5. It does have five different types of vitamin C derivatives. If you have very very very sensitive skin and if you can't use L-ascorbic acid, which is the gold standard vitamin C for skin brightening, then you might want to try this kind of as an entry-level vitamin C. You may get some benefits but I've never seen any brightening using this formula."
