What the gurus are saying

One guru ranks it in her top two retinol body lotions and loves it as an evening moisturizer, though the retinol concentration isn't disclosed. However, another expert found it merely decent and wished for stronger retinol and deeper hydration, suggesting anyone with very dry skin may want to layer it under a richer moisturizer to get enough moisture. Results appear to vary by person and may take time to show.

"Their Retinol Body Lotion is a fantastic lotion plus a dose of retinol. I don't believe they disclose the amount of retinol in this product, but I love it for an evening jump out of the shower lotion."

DRMTLGY Skincare: Best Anti-Aging Skincare for Mature Skin Over 50 (Black Friday Deals!)

TONS OF SKINCARE EMPTIES! Speed Reviews Over 50
"I got through the DRMTLGY Retinol Body Lotion. The other ones are great, they're moisturizing, there really wasn't one that I didn't like. If you use the DRMTLGY to get a little bit of exfoliation, you have to combine the Retinol Body Lotion from DRMTLGY with their exfoliating body lotion to get both a gentle exfoliation and the retinol for cell turnover and cell rejuvenation."
Best Skincare For Mature, Over 50 Skin! (New DRMTLGY Launches & Favorites)
"One of their new launches is the Retinol Body Lotion. I love this body lotion, but I wish it was double the size. Retinol for the body is great for skin renewal, anti-aging benefits, and in combination with one of their products that's been around for years, the exfoliating lactic acid at 12%, this is a great combination for mature, dry, crepey skin for the body. Love it. Now if you are somewhat sensitive, you may have to really use this sparingly or try it only once a week. Never use this on broken skin or eczema because it is at 12% lactic acid, which is really high, but lactic acid is great for mature skin, it's a gentle exfoliator but it also moisturizes the skin. This is a lovely body combination. If you haven't tried it, give it a try and let me know down in the comments what you think."
Skincare HACKS FOR MATURE SKIN! (DRMTLGY Fails, Faves and Tips!)
"Their new launch last year of their Retinol Body Lotion was just fabulous. I love this body lotion. I did a body care review for you guys over the summer and this is in the top two. I had one other that I liked a little bit better but they were a close tie."
SKINCARE Fails & Faves for Mature Over 50 Skin (DRMTLGY 30% BlackFriday/Cyber Monday Sale)
"I love the new launch that they came out with, the DRMTLGY Retinol Body Lotion, and I did a review on that along with 12 other retinol body products in my summer body care video. The DRMTLGY Retinol Body Lotion is fantastic and is definitely on my list for restocking during the sale."

"The DRMTLGY retinol body lotion was nice but I didn't love it. I feel like there's better out there in terms of strength. I found this to be very gentle, which is great if you have sensitive skin, but if you are looking for something at a higher strength, something that is a little bit more aggressive to target fine lines and wrinkles, discoloration, stretch marks, all that stuff, I just don't think this is the best option. For me personally, the only thing that I noticed was that my skin was a lot softer and smoother, so it does help to address texture and it is very moisturizing, but besides that I really didn't see anything else. Maybe you'd have to go through like three of these before you see results, so I don't know, I'm not going to be repurchasing right now. If you are looking for something that is quite strong and powerful I wouldn't say that this is it, but for me personally it just wasn't for me."

THE TRUTH ABOUT THE NEW DRMTLGY BARRIER REPAIR MASK & RETINOL BODY LOTION | REVIEW/FINAL THOUGHTS!
"I think this is going to be better come spring and summer. If you're someone with a lot of dry skin, you may or may not feel like this is moisturizing enough, so you may want to use this as that first product and then put something else on top of it to add more moisture if you need it. I think it's a decent product. I don't feel like it's a flop. I just wish it was a little bit stronger with retinol and a little bit more moisturizing. I do feel like this is something that's going to take time to work, or you might be somebody that might see improvements right away. I like it, but I don't love it."
