What the gurus are saying

One guru ranks it in her top two retinol body lotions and loves it as an evening moisturizer, though the retinol concentration isn't disclosed. However, another expert found it merely decent and wished for stronger retinol and deeper hydration, suggesting anyone with very dry skin may want to layer it under a richer moisturizer to get enough moisture. Results appear to vary by person and may take time to show.

"Their retinol body lotion is a fantastic lotion plus a dose of retinol. I don't believe they disclose the amount of retinol in this product, but I love it for an evening jump out of the shower lotion."

"Their new launch last year of their retinol body lotion was just fabulous. I love this body lotion. I did a body care review for you guys over the summer and this is in the top two. I had one other that I liked a little bit better but they were a close tie."
SKINCARE Fails & Faves for Mature Over 50 Skin (DRMTLGY 30% BlackFriday/Cyber Monday Sale)
"I love the new launch that they came out with, the DRMTLGY Retinol Body Lotion, and I did a review on that along with 12 other retinol body products in my summer body care video. The DRMTLGY Retinol Body Lotion is fantastic and is definitely on my list for restocking during the sale."

"I think this is going to be better come spring and summer. If you're someone with a lot of dry skin, you may or may not feel like this is moisturizing enough, so you may want to use this as that first product and then put something else on top of it to add more moisture if you need it. I think it's a decent product. I don't feel like it's a flop. I just wish it was a little bit stronger with retinol and a little bit more moisturizing. I do feel like this is something that's going to take time to work, or you might be somebody that might see improvements right away. I like it, but I don't love it."
