Dermatology, they have some really nice stuff, if you haven't tried anything from them check them out, because they have a lot of products that are dupes for a lot more expensive products, so I think they're well worth checking out for that reason alone."

What else, it's got some silicones, it's got ceramide, it's got the urea in there, it's got allantoin, it's got vitamin E. I would almost say this is thicker than the last one, man, it's hard to kind of rationalize all the thicknesses of them. But very nice, it's great for anti-aging. They do say it's a night cream, but honestly I use this one in my daytime if I'm not using an ascorbic acid serum. I will use this under my vitamin C serum or something like that, but if I'm using my ascorbic acid then I don't like the peptides mixing around with it because I feel like the ascorbic acid can break it down, so I don't go crazy with it. But if I'm using something else, it's great with that."

"The moisturizer I have been loving lately is the Dermatology Peptide Night Cream. This is sort of a thick whipped sort of like a marshmallowy texture that rubs in really well and it just feels delicious on the skin. It is very rich but still doesn't feel super thick or heavy, and that's the thing I've loved about it the most. You get the moisturization that you want out of a thick night cream without that thick night cream feel. I loved this moisturizer a lot and I even feel like on days when I feel dry in the morning I also put it on in the morning under my sunscreen and it works great for that as well, even though it says night cream."

I actually really like to use it as a moisturizer during the day because I feel like it layers so well under sunscreen on a day that I'm feeling particularly dry, and then I save even thicker richer products for nighttime. But if you have more normal to combination to oily skin and you're looking for a nighttime moisturizer that isn't too occlusive or heavy and delivers some nice peptides to the skin so it has some anti-aging properties to it as well, I think this is a great option. So many different types of skin could also find a use for this in their routine, and as a dermatologist that makes a product a favorite is if I feel like it has really universal appeal."

"My next favorite is also by DRMTLGY, and this is the Peptide Night Cream. I have talked about this quite a bit on and off over the last several years, and this is one of my favorites for fall but even transitioning into the winter months as well. I don't necessarily use this during the summer because I just feel like it's a little bit too much for my combination skin. It is very moisturizing, but at the same time it's very lightweight and it doesn't feel heavy on the skin, and it has that nice spreadability, it's not super thick, which is why I feel like this is a great cream to transition from summer to fall. It really is great. Now did you know that there is a larger size now? They always had their 2 oz size, and now they came out with a 4 oz size, which is what this is. So if you plan on using this all fall and winter, I would say go with the 4 oz, you just get more product. You can use this in the morning even though this is marketed as a night cream, it just depends if this is going to work well with the types of makeup and sunscreen that you are pairing with it. I have used this a handful of times in my morning routine and it's nice, it does give a glow to your skin, just keep that in mind, but I mainly keep this for my nighttime routine paired with retinol, copper peptides, chemical exfoliants. It just has that nice richness without feeling heavy."

So, if you live in a colder climate like I do, this is going to be great. Even if you live in a warmer climate all year round, it's still going to be a lovely one. Just use it for your nighttime routine. You could use this in your morning even though they market this as a night cream, you could still use this in your morning if you really want, just know it's going to be a little bit richer. [...] This one has a little bit more to it. It has more peptides. There's also ceramides in here as well. Very moisturizing and repairing, but a great cream to firm the skin and help to stimulate collagen and of course to help soften fine lines and wrinkles."

You could use this in your morning routine, but you may or may not feel like this is suited based on the types of sunscreens you use or the makeup, it is a little bit heavier for daytime, but now that we're coming into fall this actually might be a great option for you. You'll have to play around, but I like to keep this strictly for my nighttime routine, and when I'm not using vitamin C in my morning skincare routine then I'm incorporating a peptide of some kind."
