What the gurus are saying

Gurus consistently praise this as a hardworking multitasker that hydrates without caking or clinging to dryness, making it especially appealing for sensitive under-eye skin. The peachy undertone effectively neutralizes blue-toned dark circles, and it doubles as both concealer and eyeshadow primer. At $44, reviewers call it a worthwhile but not inexpensive investment, though some note that severe hyperpigmentation or very dark circles may still require additional concealer on top.

"This is the DRMTLGY Luminous Eye Corrector SPF 41 and I was just introduced to this product and I'm like how have I not been using this for years. This is a multitasker extreme. It contains SPF 41 sunscreen but it also does color correction, it's also a concealer, it helps to hydrate, and it gives you some protection. A little bit goes a long way. It comes out with this metal tip applicator that's also cooling and soothing, and you only need half a pump for each eye. The color is a peachy tone that helps to cancel out the blue undertones in the under eyes which give the appearance of dark circles. It has zinc oxide 12% and titanium dioxide 10%. This is my new favorite product. I'm wearing it right now and I find that it really does make a big difference for the bluish undertones in my under eyes, and it's a multitasker so it saves you time."

"It moisturizes the skin, it hydrates it, it allows for a more even base. I don't even use makeup primer now. While this is a more affordable dupe, it certainly is less expensive compared to the Color Science one, it is not cheap at $44. I think it is worth it if you are someone who is seeking a product to color correct and protect and also you find that your sunscreen that you use on your face you do not tolerate it around the eyes, you have very sensitive eyes. You might want to try this, you might really end up liking this. If you have prominent dark under eye circles that you're looking to improve the appearance of but you also want sun protection, this is a great product to try out. If you have any kind of true hyperpigmentation, not just dark under eye circles from the veins showing through but true hyperpigmentation, sunspots, age spots, discoloration around the eyes, you want something to color correct, to camouflage that a bit. Although it's not a concealer so don't expect it to completely cover it, but something to protect it and help actively assist in clearing it up via sun and visible light protection. This would also be a great product to try if you're someone who loves and adores the Color Science one but you want to dial back on your spending."

Colorescience Total Eye DUPE? DRMTLGY Luminous Eye Corrector SPF 41 Review
"I find that this product is actually a pretty good eyeshadow primer. The makeup goes on over it well, helps the eyeshadow stay on better, last longer throughout the day. It's not marketed as an eyeshadow primer but I found that it works quite well in that way. I personally find that sunscreen is like my makeup primer because it moisturizes the skin, it hydrates it, it allows for a more even base for the makeup to go on. It is $44, so it's not cheap. I think it is worth it if you are someone who is seeking a product to color correct and protect and also you find that your sunscreen that you use on your face you do not tolerate it around the eyes, you have very sensitive eyes. "It's the Luminous Eye Corrector SPF 41. If you haven't and you love under eye correctors, then I think you're going to really like this. It's basically a three-in-one product. So we have that color corrector. This comes in four shades. I have shade medium, and medium actually blends in really nicely when I'm wearing foundation or some type of tinted sunscreen. But if you want more of that brighter under eye, go with one shade lighter than what you feel like you would be naturally. So naturally, I'm medium, but if I want that brighter eye, then fair is typically the shade I will go with. This actually replaces concealer. So whenever I decide to use this, I don't have to put concealer on top of it for more coverage. So it does provide a decent amount of coverage. But if you do have dark circles and you have a lot of discoloration under your eyes, it's very possible that you would still need to apply a little bit of your everyday concealer on top of this just to add more coverage."

4 DRMTLGY FAVORITES FOR A FLAWLESS “NO-MAKEUP” LOOK - THIS SKINCARE ROUTINE IS GAME CHANGING!
"It's very moisturizing so if you have any type of texture, dryness, crepiness, honestly this does not accentuate that. This does a very good job to almost blur that out and it disguises any dryness or crepiness that you possibly have. Some eye products will make your under eyes look worse than what it was prior, this product does not do that. I can really appreciate that because sometimes for me personally I can be a little dry in the inner corner, especially during the winter months, and this does not cling onto dryness at all. It doesn't really crease either. It just does a really good job to disguise any additional discoloration. It's hydrating and it's not going to make your skin look worse, like more made-up or cakey."
4 DRMTLGY FAVORITES FOR A FLAWLESS “NO-MAKEUP” LOOK - THIS SKINCARE ROUTINE IS GAME CHANGING!
"I've had some dry blemishes in the past and this really didn't cling on to it either, it almost disguised the dryness. It was quite impressive. It almost acts as that concealer and it matches my skin tone perfectly. I'm just so impressed with this. It acts as that concealer with just a hint of a tint so your complexion looks flawless and glowy. This is broadspectrum with an SPF 30, all mineral, with a zinc oxide of 22.5% and a titanium dioxide of 12.5%. It comes in three shades. I like to stick with the fair because it acts more of a translucent shade for me personally. I prefer to use this shade if I'm reapplying several times a day because this is designed to be used on top of a full face of makeup so that your makeup isn't getting ruined throughout the day. When we have a full face of makeup we can't exactly put liquid sunscreen back on our skin, so that's why they came up with this."
DRMTLGY BLACK FRIDAY SALE 2024 | MUST HAVE ANTI-AGING PRODUCTS THAT ACTUALLY DELIVER RESULTS!
"The Luminous Eye Corrector SPF 41 comes in four shades. I have it in fair and medium, and I use shade medium the most because it matches my skin tone perfectly and it actually replaces my everyday concealer. Shade fair is lovely for that brighter under-eye look, especially on my skin tone, but it's pretty light underneath the eyes and sometimes I don't necessarily want that brightness. If your concealers sit on top of this, they sit really nicely, and this could actually replace your concealer if you really wanted to. The shade medium replaces my concealer because this just blends right into my skin and evens out my under eyes. This is a color corrector so it will help to disguise any darkness, discoloration, and those pinky purpley tones. It helps to give sun protection because of course it has that SPF 41. I do use this on my lids underneath my brow bone as this is a great product to use as that shadow primer, so it really does prep your lids for shadows and liners. There's great ingredients in here to target signs of aging at the same time, and this is very hydrating."
DRMTLGY LUMINOUS EYE CORRECTOR SPF 41 | DEMO AND FIRST IMPRESSIONS! SHADES FAIR & MEDIUM
"I am very impressed with this formulation. I really love how my under eyes look. I love the fact that I could either use fair or medium, and I really like how lightweight they feel and how moisturizing they are. The fact that you don't have to set this with translucent powder is an added bonus. If you're just wearing this on its own, there is no need to use a setting powder because it didn't even crease underneath the eyes. I also love that this is an SPF 41 with the higher zinc and titanium dioxide. The fact that I could either use fair or medium here is an added bonus, and this formulation is a little bit more moisturizing as well. If you do have dryness underneath your eyes, I feel like you should try this brand first."
