"Cerx is calling itself a serum booster, the key word there is booster. This is something that helps lift up the rest of your routine, but on its own, if it was your only active product, you know, active meaning the peptides in this, I think you might be disappointed with it. I personally was when I tested this out. I didn't feel that I got a ton of benefits from it on its own. I think that it works well as a booster, but it's important to know this isn't a highly concentrated serum. This is an essence. Cerx is using some more interesting peptides and the mix delivers a more unique set of benefits. There are some collagen stimulating peptides in here, but it's not a heavy focus of the six peptide mix that they're using. They're also looking to address signs of sensitivity and irritation on the skin, redness and inflammation, which can be particularly helpful if you do have a sensitive skin type or if you're struggling with your moisture barrier. It can also be helpful if you do struggle with inflammatory acne. There's also a brightening peptide in here that can help with the overall complexion and clarity of the skin and the evenness of it."

"It feels more like an essence or an ampoule with the texture, but it feels nice and light and it does not have any smell to it at all. It has a lot of peptides in it. The formula has a six peptide complex that provides various skin benefits like collagen boosting and brightening. It's perfect as a first step serum that pairs well with other active ingredients. The exciting ingredients in here are arginine, which does have some really good studies showing that it helps decrease wrinkle depth by 17 percent after used for 15 days and a decrease after 28 days of further decrease in wrinkle depth of 16 percent. It's pretty high up the ingredient list. Copper peptides are in here as well."

"The ingredients in here are great and it's fragrance free as well and much more affordable but still got lots of good peptides in here. It's got niacinamide, all those peptides and amino acids, and it feels really nice on my skin, like really nice. So we've got all those cell communicating ingredients, skin brightening with the niacinamide and acetoglucosamine, then we've got those amino acids and then for soothing copper peptide and some vitamin E in there and soybean oil. If you have acne prone skin the main ingredients to be aware of is the vitamin E and the soybean oil, those are the only ingredients of note. So really nothing to be concerned about for the most part, most people tolerate vitamin E very well even though it's kind of comedogenic, it just sometimes depends on the formula too. Overall it feels nice, I'm really impressed. I'm going to continue to use this because I really like it."

"It's got some vitamin E in there and soybean oil, so if you have acne prone skin, the main ingredients to be aware of is the vitamin E and the soybean oil. Most people tolerate vitamin E very well even though it's kind of comedogenic, it just sometimes depends on the formula too. Overall it stuff feels nice. I'm really impressed. I'm going to continue to use this because I really like it. The copper peptide in there is very sensitive to other ingredients. I have found copper peptides are very fussy. You're not supposed to use them with almost anything else basically. I mean not supposed to use their retinol, acids, vitamin C, or strong antioxidants. So basically almost anything you use. But I found if I use a copper peptide and then layer a neutral product in between that's not a pH dependent product, that's not an active in between the copper peptide, it seems to work for me and other brands have recommended it, because otherwise you have to choose one or the other. Copper peptides can be very fragile. It's still kind of a relatively newer ingredient in skin care, but I found that works for me and I'd rather do both as long as your skin isn't irritated than have to pick one or the other and only get the benefits from one or the other."
