Skin Renewing Night Cream.

"I am a big fan of the CeraVe Skin Renewing Night Cream. This has niacinamide. It also has of course ceramides in it which are good for the moisture barrier. It has some peptides in it which also may help with moisture retention. It's a very nice rich night cream."

"The CeraVe Skin Renewing Night Cream has tripeptide 1 and tetrapeptide 3. These are allegedly going to improve collagen and improve elastin production. More rigorous research is needed to substantiate peptide claims, but nonetheless, peptides can help decrease wrinkle depth. This product is underrated. They really undersell it. They don't hype it up a lot. They don't really market the purple line enough."

"If you want something richer, try the CeraVe Skin Renewing Night Cream, the one in the purple jar. Richer formula has some peptides in there that may help with aiding in moisture retention. That is a great facial moisturizer."

"It's a thick, rich cream that pairs nicely with actives to keep your skin comfortable, moisturized, and to prevent transepidermal water loss. If you are new to tretinoin, a retinol, or some other type of active and you're noticing a lot of dryness, tightness, and your skin just feels angry, then you need to try this. This is a really nice cream to bring your skin back to life and to use with active, but just on its own it's wonderful also. I will sometimes use this if my skin is feeling a little dry and tight, but I use this more in the winter because of how rich and moisturizing it is. This has three essential ceramides to help strengthen and repair the skin barrier and prevent transepidermal water loss. There's hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and two peptides. The peptides are further down in the ingredient list, which are great for signs of aging, but this cream is more for moisture and repairing the skin barrier. Even though this is a night cream, you could use this in your morning, but because it's thicker, your sunscreen or makeup of choice may or may not sit nicely on top of this. You'll have to play around, but I keep this for nighttime because of how thick and rich it is."

"This is a thick cream and I just strictly keep this for nighttime, but even though it's a night cream you can still try using this in the morning, it just depends if your other skincare products and makeup will sit nicely with it. This is a great nighttime one. I like this one more so for winter because of how thick it is. It's a great drugstore option. There are three types of ceramides in here, there's hyaluronic acid, there is a tripeptide, there's dimethicone which is a silicone that gives that slip to the skin. People don't like dimethicone in their skincare products or even in makeup products, but having dimethicone in creams especially can be really moisturizing on the skin and I actually quite like to have dimethicone in my creams. There is also niacinamide in here, which is an antioxidant that is great for many things."
