"Fifty six dollars for, like I said, not really impressive ingredients, not many actives. Benefits wise it was nourishing and moisturizing and that's about it. It wasn't helping to make the eye area look more awake or refreshed, or working on fine lines or anything, it just felt moisturizing. Just because it's so pricey, I am going to rate it with the X eyes emoji."

"Two eye creams here: one from Biossance, the Marine Algae Eye Cream, and one from Dam Dam. I want to talk about both of these at the same time because they have the same rating and I feel very similarly about them. They were really great texture-wise for summer. Biossance has this really light, lotion-like texture that quickly absorbs into the skin. It's nourishing, it's just not heavy. The performance as far as moisturizing, hydrating, balancing, plumping, all of that, really good. I'm giving this a 7 out of 10. I'm marking some points off because it's not really heavy hitting in the well-aging department. We don't really have collagen-stimulating peptides, there's no retinol in here, there's really nothing here that's fighting fine lines and wrinkles or restoring skin elasticity. It's really just moisturizing and hydrating."

"This is the biossance Squalane + Marine Algae Eye Cream. I like this eye cream, I don't love love love it, but it has been so helpful in the last month or so. I've had the worst luck with eye creams this summer, a couple that irritated the skin around my eyes and others that were just not pleasant to use. I actually had a jar of this sitting in my drawer for a while because I like it, I don't love it. The brand did send it to me and I eventually had to just open it up because everything else was failing me. It's not the most impressive eye cream, but it has a beautiful texture, silky but lotion like, so you get the moisture without a lot of heaviness in the eye area. It's not really brightening, but the moisture helps for sure."
