What the gurus are saying

Dr Dray rates it highly; No BS Beauty is mixed; CYoung passed. CYoung: "Anua calls this a collagen and gua sha cream for the face. It's basically the same as the Medicube one, just a different color but the same shape, even the packaging and the twist mechanism are the same."

"This is a retinol formula marketed for use on the neck, with some really good hydrating, skin supporting ingredients like glycerin and panthenol. It has niacinamide in it, which is good for redness and the moisture barrier and is an antioxidant, macadamia seed oil as an emollient, collagen which is very hydrating, and adenosine, a moisturizing ingredient. The texture is rich and nourishing. On the neck specifically, you really do get an almost instant neck line blurring effect, mostly on the little fine lines, though deeper set wrinkles won't be erased, just less obvious. I didn't experience any burning or stinging, I used this on my neck as well as a lot on my forearms, and I noticed I was getting more consistently smooth skin where I was applying it and the skin tone appeared a lot more even, plus that plumping hydrated firming effect. I think it's a really excellent formula. It comes with a gua sha tipped applicator which is cool on the skin, but I actually found it a little awkward to use and ended up just putting the product in my hands and rubbing it on the skin instead. They also don't disclose the percentage of the retinol, which I'm not too bothered by since the overall formulation is what really supports whether the ingredient works, but I get where people are coming from on that. It doesn't stop me from using it, I have really liked it."

"I will say my skin tolerated this very well. I didn't develop stinging, redness, irritation like from the actual cream itself."

It's basically the same as the Medicube one, just a different color but the same shape, even the packaging and the twist mechanism are the same. It's a little expensive, about thirty dollars, and it's kind of fun, but please don't waste your money buying both. Why waste money on a single use gua sha shaped cream like this? Once the cream is gone it's trash, just buy one proper gua sha tool that lasts forever instead."

"I'm always down for something unique and maybe it's finally time for me to try it out. I don't know."
