The Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Dew Drops come in bronze and rose gold so you can put that on and have that luminous skin. You can put it on the planes of the face like maybe the tops of the cheekbones or like a little touch on the tip of the nose. You could also use these as a base for makeup if you wear makeup but if you don't want to wear makeup you can just use it on its own.

My opinion still remains with this oat cleansing balm: I do not like the smell and I do not like the texture. But as you can see it is melting that makeup off.

The Ordinary Argireline Solution 10% is toted as Botox in a bottle, which is a pretty much misleading product claim. A dermatologist quoted in a Vogue article said that do you really think something that you apply topically is going to be able to give you the same type of results as something like Botox, which is injected deeper into the skin's layers and works by blocking nerve signals to muscles.

The Castile soap people, that stuff can be really drying on the skin so take heed. You want something nice and moisturizing if you're someone with particularly sensitive skin.

"Sunday Riley has this ICE Ceramide Moisturizing Cream, it's really thick and nice. I love that one. That's more of like a nighttime moisturizer or like deep deep winter moisturizer. For me, I have oily skin that's kind of getting a little drier as I age. But if you have dry skin, that might be like the perfect moisturizer for you."

"The ingredient list of the CeraVe Moisturizing Cream looks more similar to this except it also has ceramides in it. If the ceramides were the make or break of whether or not I chose a product like this, I would just go with the CeraVe Moisturizing Cream. You can layer -- you put your hydrating toner, you put your hydrating serum, and then you put the CeraVe Moisturizing Cream on top and lock that in."

This has all of the things in it. Niacinamide, glycolic, retinol, lactic acid. I'm gonna order this and try it because it sounds freaking amazing."

"With a moisturizer, it's what your skin is doing for the season and your skin type. I had to use a much heavier moisturizer in the past winter when my skin was acting dry, but this feels nice. With moisturizers, I feel like yes, you need something that functions well, but also it's nice to have a moisturizer that feels good on the skin. This has piqued my interest so far. I just need some more time with this so that I can try it over a couple of days."

"This feels very hydrating. Petrolatum is not going to break you out if you have acne either, unless you put something on that's going to break you out and then you put petrolatum on top, because when you put petrolatum on top things are under occlusion and when things are under occlusion sometimes they get a little bit more intense and that could break you out, but the petrolatum itself won't break you out unless for some strange reason you're allergic to petrolatum."

8 of the WORST Skincare Products According to AI
"Tatcha Water Cream is a very light gel cream moisturizer. It's very hydrating but it's super lightweight. It's best for oily, combo, or maybe normal skin. It's oil-free, so you probably shouldn't use this if you have dry skin. There are certain products that have to be used either by a certain person profile or during a certain time of the year. For me, I typically wouldn't use something like that in the winter. I'm probably going to only use something like that in the warmer months when I want the hydration but I don't want that heavy feel. In the colder months, I'm probably going to want something that's even more hydrating."
"I actually really like this water cream it's extremely hydrating. I would say that this is more hydrating to my skin than the TO water cream. I definitely felt like it was way more hydrating, but I do prefer a creamy moisturizer in the winter time even though I have oily skin."

"This is from a Korean brand called Kahi and this balm, they describe it as like a mild Vaseline. I put it on the side where I had tear burning my skin and it felt really good. They call this a multi balm because you can use this for a gazillion things. When I was in Korea recently the makeup artist used it to refresh my makeup. I would also assume that you could use it on the lips."

"I've been using tretinoin since my 30s and it has helped to maintain that nice glowy texture and smoothness to my skin and it also helps prevent some of the premature signs of aging. "Tretinoin is the gold standard. Retinoids help to accelerate the cell turnover process but they also help to smooth skin's texture and tone and they also help to stop the overproduction of melanin, AKA hyperpigmentation. "I finished out some Mighty Patch from Hero Cosmetics. Pimple patches are amazing because they do so many things. For one, it helps to give the pimple an environment where it can heal without things that would make it worse like UV, bacteria, your dirty stinking hands. So it protects the pimple from that. It also low-key protects you from popping the pimple because it's covering it, so you're probably less susceptible to squeezing it. I like a lot from Hero."

UNCONVENTIONAL Discoloration Hacks for Black & Brown Skin
"If you're noticing breakouts or discoloration from wearing a mask for longer than four or five hours a day, try applying a thin layer of Vaseline to the area before you put the mask on. It can help lessen some of that rubbing and friction and pressing in because it's creating a little bit of a barrier between your skin and the item. Will you never ever get discoloration again? I can't say that, but this can help to prevent some of it. Less is better than more in this case."

"I wear shade 37N in the Ilia Skin Rewind Complexion Stick and look how that just disappears into my skin and that was just like a really quick blend. One of the best things about a complexion stick like this is that you can create your own complexion experience so you could just apply it in the areas where you need coverage and then blend that out, or you could use it all over. You can blend that with your fingers, just let your fingers warm up the makeup, or you could use a complexion brush."

"I recently did a partnership with a company called Westmore Beauty and they have this body coverage perfector. I wear shade bronze Radiance and then there's a deep Radiance shade that's the next deepest shade. Initially I was like oh no I'm definitely the Deep Radiance, but once it blended into my skin it was like very good match with the bronze Radiance. So just be mindful of that if you're closer to my skin tone, you probably might want to go with the bronze Radiance, and then if you're deeper the Deep Radiance. Definitely get the brush that comes with it because then you're going to get a nice even application. There's no way that you're going to be able to get an even application using your hands because with your hands you're probably going to have way too much on in certain areas and it's going to look cakey and just not good. So get the brush."

"This is a pretty standard cleanser that I would probably use on a regular basis just based on how it felt. This one I would say especially because it has tea tree oil in it and because it has salicylic acid in it. I would say that this is probably best for oily skin or if you're someone who sweats a lot because the salicylic acid goes deep into the pore, clears out the gunk that can cause acne, ingrown hairs, it clears that gunk out and gets it out of the pore. Tea tree oil helps kill bacteria, so it's helpful with acne. If you have very dry skin, I would probably avoid this because I could feel especially with the salicylic acid and the tea tree oil."

"This is nice. I like the texture. My skin doesn't feel stripped. You don't want your cleanser to make your face feel squeaky clean after you use it because if it's making your skin real clean, there's a chance you might be using the wrong cleanser. You don't want your cleanser to be stripping your face of every ounce of oil, even if you have oily skin, because that can impact your barrier. When you have oily skin, you use a cleanser that's for oily skin that's going to do more to balance the oil, but you want to balance, not obliterate. This feels really, really good. It's a texture that I can get down with. It's a price point I can get down with. And it does well to cleanse."
"I like the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Purifying Foaming Cleanser. It's $19.99 for 13.5 ounces, or you can get the refill for a couple bucks less. You can get a smaller container if you just want to try it out for $14.99, but to me, the bigger size makes more sense for more bang for your buck."

"You can also use it without water, so basically you would apply a liberal amount of cleanser to the face and gently massage into the skin, remove the excess with a soft cloth leaving a thin transparent film on the skin, so if your skin is like really going through it you can also do that as well. The ingredients are not the same but I have to say if not going by the fact that maybe you might be allergic to an ingredient in one over the other, I would go for the dupe. It feels exactly the same to me."

"These cleansing melts are water activated. You stick it in your hand, stick your hand underneath the water, and as it gets wet, it gets activated. You rub your hands together and you get enough for a single use. I love these. My favorites are the hyaluronic acid and the retinol. They're both fragrance-free and they feel really amazing on my skin. I also do love the vitamin C, but the vitamin C I can only wear when it's warmer out because it has fragrance in it and I don't love the fragrance, though it goes by so quickly that it's no big deal. I do prefer to have the fragrance-free ones. They also just came out with gentle ones, which are fragrance-free and don't have dye in them, so if you're someone that's sensitive to that, you might want to give these a try. I can finish a pack of melts within a month because the pack has 32 in them and I wash my face twice a day, sometimes three times a day."
LOW Anxiety Skincare Routine for Dummies 2025
"It's not classified as a deep cleanser. When you use it, your skin doesn't feel stripped. Your skin just feels like, okay, I'm ready. As soon as the Olay Cleansing Melts came out in 2024 and I was using it beforehand because I had a campaign with Olay so they gave it to me a little bit before it hit the market, I have only been using the Cleansing Melt from that point on. In the summer time during the warmer months I was using the vitamin C cleansing melts, but then as it started to get colder out I've been using either the hyaluronic acid ones or the retinal ones because those are more hydrating."

"I have been using these Olay Cleansing Melts for at least since April or at least 2 months before it came to Market as part of a campaign and let me tell you something I am obsessed. I love this it feels so amazing on my skin my skin feels like a baby's bottom after I'm done with it. You can also double cleanse with this, you know just use another one again after you have used the first one to remove your makeup. I use them every day but they're also amazing for travel. They come in retinol hyaluronic acid and vitamin C. The retinol and hyaluronic acid are both fragrance-free I find those to be the ones that I could use most times of the year especially in the winter time but I've been using them during the summer as well. The vitamin C ones I feel like for my skin, my skin is pretty much oily but as it gets colder out it gets a little bit on the drier side. I feel like the vitamin C is better for me in the summer."

"They're very lightweight, but really moisturizing. I didn't need to use a moisturizer underneath this. They felt really good and they gave my skin a nice dewy finish, like a medium dewy where it's like 'oh my god, she looks so healthy' kind of look. I do think this is good in warmer weather, fall, early to midfall. In the deep of winter I might need a moisturizer underneath or a little bit more. I could wear this in the summer time and spring. The 50 maybe had a touch more radiance in the finish, but by the end of the day I really could not tell a difference between the two."

"Out of all the Ultraviolet sunscreens that I've tried, this is the best one for me. The formula is lightweight, it's very moisturizing, it's got a natural finish. This is probably one of those rare sunscreens where there's a sunscreen that I could wear year round. It's lightweight enough to be okay for the warmer months but it's still moisturizing enough in the colder months where my skin doesn't feel dried out. "The reason why I recommend this one and can't recommend any others is I have tried so many of them, and the thing with these mineral powder things to reapply over your makeup is they're great because they help to take down shine and it also is reapplying your sunscreen over your makeup. But if the product packaging is not on point, you can wind up depositing a whole bunch of powder on one part of your face. This is the one where I have tried where it gives you a nice even application. It's almost impossible to goof with this. I've tried cheaper ones and have gotten big deposits of powder all over the place and that's obviously not what you want. This is the best one so far."

I Have a Lot to Say about Beauty of Joseon Tinted Mineral Sunscreen
"Initial thoughts on this Beauty of Joseon product is that I like it. I don't think that everyone with a deeper skin tone might have the same kind of experience with it because some of those deeper shades did look quite ashy to me. I would love to see how it looks on someone with a deeper, richer skin tone because I feel like you really need to get deeper skin tones correct, but the richer the skin tone is the more correct you've got to be. Overall I do like this. I was surprised at how much coverage it gave because typically tinted mineral sunscreens tend to feel like I put watercolors on my face sometimes with certain tinted moisturizer and tinted mineral sunscreen products, but I did like the finish. It's pretty, I'm not mad at it. This is not a product that I particularly use in my routine. I'm usually either no makeup whatsoever or a full face of makeup, so I usually don't wear these light foundation products. Had I been one of those people, I think this one is really nice."

"For $44 you're going to get 0.68 oz Glow Screen SPF 40, the one that has the shimmer in it. It might be a lot for the face but it's also something that'll look good. You can put it on your décolletage, on your arms, or on your face if you want to, but remember you got to put on enough sunscreen, which is 2 milligrams per centimeter squared of skin, about a quarter to a half teaspoon for your face, neck, and ears. This is a good option for someone who loves skincare but they're not really wearing their sunscreen like they should, these are the type of sunscreens that might be a gateway into getting someone who doesn't wear sunscreen to wear sunscreen."

"The cast on this is not bad at all, especially when you compare it to the CeraVe one, and it is slightly tinted which makes it a lot easier to blend into the skin. However, you might find that it's a little too matte for me, and you might find that during more parts of the year than others like in the summer time you might be like ah this is all right, but in the winter time you might be like damn I look like a keeper. Some sunscreens can be moisturizing enough on their own where you won't need to apply a moisturizer underneath, however if you find that you're like damn this is looking kind of matte, then you might want to apply a moisturizer first."

"The CeraVe Hydrating Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50 is nice and hydrating and it's non-greasy, it sprays nicely on the skin. However, the white cast on this is wild. I don't even think CeraVe had white people in mind when they made this sunscreen. The problem with this mineral sunscreen is that because the white cast is so horrific, sometimes people don't put on as much as they should, and that defeats the purpose since sunscreen is not a little bit goes a long way type of product. Even after you've applied it in thin layers and massaged it in, you still might want to wait a couple minutes just to let the white cast calm down."

It still looked pretty on the skin, but if this was a different scent this would be a different review. It helps to improve hydration, which we need because the skin starts to dry as we get older. It helps with smoothness, firmness, brightness, texture, like all of that. And it also has that antioxidant protection. During the day, all kinds of stuff is coming for our skin between UV, the free radicals, pollution, all of that stuff."

The benefits are: hydrate, it can help to even the skin's tone, it can help to visually plump the skin, it helps to brighten and it helps to smooth visible lines. Niacinamide, also known as vitamin B3, is found in a lot of skincare because it has some amazing benefits. It helps to repair the skin's barrier, which is great if you have dry skin because it helps to soothe the barrier and help you to retain more of that hydration that your skin really needs. It's also great for oily skin because it helps to even things out so you're not as oily. It's also an antioxidant which helps to protect the skin from all of the gunk that's just in the environment throughout the day."

"This Danessa Myricks Cream Blush looks too good on deeper skin. They have an array of shades that have the nerve to like, there's a shade for everybody out there, but these brighter shades they just look too good on deeper skin. Some cream blushes, especially if you have oily skin, seem to disappear literally within minutes of you applying it. Not this one. This one's gonna stay with you throughout the day."
"What I like about this blush is that you can build this up so when you first put it on it's very subtle. I could see where they get the Rosy Glow name from. This doesn't have that flat finish that typical matte powder blushes will have. The glow you're gonna get with this is more of a radiant as opposed to a lot of shimmer. If you do want to intensify the color you just add a couple more layers and you're good to go."

"When I saw serum in the name I was like there's no way that this is going to give me coverage because the serum in the name just kind of sounded like it was going to be light and airy. But this concealer actually does give coverage. I like that it has a luminous, more of a radiant finish, so while the foundation has that natural matte finish, this concealer gives the look more interest and dimension than it looking flat."

"This is $38 for 3.3 oz of product. I have used this before, I have emptied one. This is an amazing product. It keeps that makeup on looking good without feeling heavy. It is a spray that will keep your makeup on without being overpowering or overly matte, so you can get a nice staying power without it being too much. It delivers a very nice, fine mist, which matters because you don't want your setting spray throwing big droplets at you -- that could interfere with your makeup."

"I already have tried and loved this. The Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray. I like a setting spray depending on the season and the mood and what I'm doing for that day. When it's really hot, it's summer, or I'm vacationing and I want to make sure my makeup stays on, I like a different setting spray, but I cannot use that if it is below 80 degrees because it just feels too matte. For all other times, I like this one, the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray."

"This is the e.l.f Liquid Poreless Putty Primer. Typically I just need the primer in my T-Zone because that's where I get really, really oily. "I have not found anything that is practical that also looks good on the skin like the Super Goop Resetting Mineral Powder. I really like that one. I use the Deep shade because it helps to combat shine so it's also like retouching my makeup and it's also kind of topping off the sunscreen. Now reapply is a key word here because you're going to want to put on enough of your base sunscreen because if you try to rely on that powder alone you're going to be so so sadly mistaken. You want to be very carefully, maybe put your moisturizer on first and then put one of these toners on and then put a little moisturizer on again, but be careful. People love this glycolic acid toner as their chemical exfoliant. People are also using it underneath their arms to control odor. Just be mindful that overexfoliating can lead to an impaired skin barrier, and an impaired skin barrier cannot protect you the way that it should. You can become more susceptible to irritation that could lead to things like hyperpigmentation or worse. So don't say I didn't warn you. "One of the differences between Sculptra and the hyaluronic acid fillers is that with the HA fillers you can see some immediate results, but if you go a little ham with the HA fillers you are able to dissolve them. However, with Sculptra there is a delicate tangle because the results are gradual over time, so if a person goes to ham in the initial injection, over time that could look a mess and you can't dissolve the Sculptra. With Sculptra you definitely need to make sure you go to someone who specializes in it and has receipts that they have done an amazing job with lots of people because the last thing you want is to get jacked up with the Sculptra and then you got to live with that for a year until it eventually goes away. Sculptra is typically used for larger areas that need volume."
