"The It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream SPF 50+ gives color correction, coverage, hydration, sun protection, and skin care benefits. She calls it a foundation because it gives the most beautiful coverage, and [...] the smallest amount is all you need, [...] so put your sunscreen on first. She uses the Do It All Balm more often, saving this one for when she wants to look more done up. Even though it's full coverage, her skin still looks like skin and totally natural, and it covers [...] discoloration, blemishes, and birthmarks well. She wears shade deep honey in this one for a bit of warmth. [...] The finish isn't matte, more like a satin matte or natural matte, [...] and she notes that if you have dry skin this might not be for you, though it works well for her oily, aging skin."

"The First Aid Beauty hydrating sunscreen milk was definitely one of my favorite sunscreens of 2025. Some sunscreens are moisturizing enough where you can just wear them on their own. However, some you might feel like you might need to put a moisturizer on first and then put this sunscreen on. If it's a very dry day, you can layer the moisture underneath the sunscreen. But if it's a day where you're like, yeah, I'm all right, you can just use the sunscreen. The sunscreen's maybe moisturizing enough for you to just wear it on its own. And it has antioxidants in it too. So there's some mornings where I can just wash my face and put my sunscreen on. The sunscreen is protecting me, it's moisturizing enough so I don't need to moisturize, and it has antioxidants in it. So it's like two steps and I'm done."

"This is very lightweight and also very moisturizing. I have oily skin, but as I get older, the oiliness is starting to dwindle down a little bit. I do appreciate when a sunscreen is very moisturizing. Also for my lifestyle, I really appreciate when a sunscreen is very moisturizing because that means I could skip my moisturizer and just do this, one step instead of two. It feels like there's nothing on, which I appreciate if the sunscreen can be moisturizing and not feel heavy at the same time. Hallelujah. And it had a natural dewy finish. It wasn't overly dewy where it looks good now, but the second I step outside, I'm going to look like a grease ball. And it wasn't where I could see every single line and dry patch. I will say though that I did experience some icing. Icing can be so subjective and it's really hard for me to break that down to people, especially since I'm someone who tends to influence people who normally wouldn't wear sunscreen to wear sunscreen."

"This is the Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Stick. Centella when you see that and you probably see that a lot in Korean products, Centella is something that's going to help to calm and soothe the skin. So if you have sensitive skin or you just like, you know, I'm just mad zen. I want my skin to be zen too and calming or whatever, then maybe Centella is for you. So this is $14.30 for 30 g. Again, with the sunscreen stick, they're so easy to carry around. This one has chemical/organic UV filters, but this is a Korean sunscreen, not a Korean-American. This is straight up from the motherland. Korea sunscreen, right? You can use this year round, much like I was saying with the Olay Invisible Sunscreen. You might need to put a moisturizer on first and you know, then you could, you know, use this year round. It has a natural finish. Super easy to carry around like this little, you just slap that in your bag. You could even use it to reapply over your makeup."

"This is 1.69 fluid ounces, 50 ml, for $19.99. [...] I bought this at Ulta. [...] I really like it. It's very lightweight but really moisturizing, so I didn't need to use a moisturizer underneath. It felt really good and gave my skin a nice [...] medium dewy finish, like 'oh my god, she looks so healthy' kind of look. I did find it to be really moisturizing, and I could see where in the deep of winter I might need a moisturizer underneath or a little bit more, but I think this is good in warmer weather, early to midfall. [...] I could wear this in the summertime. I honestly could not [...] tell a difference between the 30 and the 50, though there is going to be a difference in the ingredients. [...] Typically when you have the same sunscreen from the same brand but one's a higher SPF, sometimes the higher SPF makes it feel a little greasier, but that wasn't the case here. The 50 had a touch more radiance in the finish, but even then, by the end of the day I really could not tell a difference between the two."

"This sunscreen is actually pretty nice. It's $17 for 1.69 fluid ounces. One thing I will give the Korean American sunscreens is that they come with a very nice cosmetically elegant experience for a very nice under $20 budget price. This moisturizes well, which I love because then I don't have to put a moisturizer on underneath. It feels lightweight and it has a natural finish which I love because a dewy finish or a satin finish is nice but when you have oily skin it is a time and a place."

"This is a really good mineral sunscreen. I did have a slight white cast. It wasn't the worst white cast that I've seen. It blends in beautifully. I don't have to be like really worried because there's some mineral sunscreens that feel very pasty and it's really hard to blend into the skin. This blends in really nicely. It takes a little longer to blend in so that you've got it all covered. If you've got facial hair, the white cast be all in your facial hair, so I had white cast in my eyebrow and in my edges and whatnot. If you are someone with facial hair, keep that in mind. It's a lot easier to blend than a lot of mineral sunscreens I've come across. There is a white cast, but it's not that bad. When working out with that on, if you have ever worked out with a mineral sunscreen on that wasn't water resistant or if you ever sweated outside of working out, the white cast becomes a little bit more apparent. If you're profusely sweating, then you're like dripping white droplets all over the place. So be mindful of that."

"This has to be one of my favorites thus far. This one is very lightweight. However, it still kept me feeling hydrated and moisturized. So, this felt hydrating and moisturizing. I like this. I could wear this in the summertime. I could probably wear this, you know, like spring, fall, the winter, I might need a little bit more than this, but this I really like. This is probably the second or third Thank You Farmer sunscreen that I've tried just in general. Thank You Farmer one that came in a blue packaging that I remember really liking as well a couple years back."

"This one you kind of got to shake it up so that the product doesn't separate because otherwise you'll just get like it'll be very watery. So you want to shake it up so it's like a thick white liquid kind of thing. I found this to be extremely lightweight. Felt like nothing was on. It kept me matte but not like casket sharp matte. But also, I found that it wasn't hydrating enough for me. So, I would say if like you're someone I have oily skin, but if you have very oily skin, this might be better for you. Or if you're more on the normal to dry side, I wouldn't 100% rule something like this out because maybe if you have a favorite moisturizer you put on and then you put this on on top, you know, that's your prerogative. Just understand that when you layer products that not every product plays nicely with other products. So, for instance, you might use one moisturizer with this and it's fine and then you use a different moisturizer and then you put this on top and you notice that the product starts to like ball up on your skin. So, in cases like that, you know, be mindful of what you're layering with. Sometimes you might want to wait for the previous layer to completely dry before you put the second layer on to kind of mitigate some of that like peeling or balling up kind of thing."

"I applied this in sheer layers as I always do with mineral sunscreens and even with applying it in sheer layers until I had enough, the sufficient amount of sunscreen, you could still clock the cast. There was no denying that the cast. If you don't put on enough of a mineral sunscreen then yes maybe you won't have a noticeable cast, but do you know how dangerous that can be when people aren't wearing enough sunscreen? If you're not wearing enough sunscreen but you think you are and you think you're being protected, you got to put on enough to get the SPF. I'm trying to understand how Tower 28 didn't come up with this in their testing because mineral sunscreens are made out of white pigments, so it's almost similar to if you took a foundation and took globs of the foundation and tried to rub it in. You wouldn't do that with a foundation, right? So it's kind of similar with the mineral sunscreen."

"This is the best one for me out of all the Ultraviolette sunscreens that I've tried. The formula is lightweight, it's very moisturizing, it's got a natural finish. "Out of all the Ultra Violette sunscreens that I've tried, this is the best one for me. The formula is lightweight, it's very moisturizing, it's got a natural finish. This is probably one of those rare sunscreens that I could wear year round, where it's lightweight enough to be okay for the warmer months but it's still moisturizing enough in the colder months where my skin doesn't feel dried out. Now if we get like a super, super cold, below freezing New York City winter day, I might need more than this, but I would say for most parts of the year I'd be able to wear something like this with my oily skin."

"It comes in different colors, so clearly you want the dark shade for deeper skin. [...] This is the only one that I can recommend. I've tried so many of these. [...] The reason I recommend this one and can't recommend any others: [...] with these mineral powder products you use to reapply your sunscreen over your makeup, they're great because they help take down shine and let you reapply your sunscreen over makeup, but if the product packaging isn't on point, you can wind up depositing a whole bunch of powder on one part of your face. This is one where I've tried it and it gives you a nice even application. It's almost impossible to mess up with this one. I've tried cheaper ones and gotten big deposits of powder all over the place, and that's obviously not what you want. [...] This is the best one so far. [...] And obviously you want the dark one if you have deeper skin."

"Initial thoughts on this Beauty of Joseon product is that I like it. I don't think that everyone with a deeper skin tone might have the same kind of experience with it because some of those deeper shades did look quite ashy to me. I would love to see how it looks on someone with a deeper, richer skin tone because I feel like you really need to get deeper skin tones correct, but the richer the skin tone is the more correct you've got to be. [...] Overall I do like this. I was surprised at how much coverage it gave because typically tinted mineral sunscreens tend to feel like I put watercolors on my face sometimes with certain tinted moisturizer and tinted mineral sunscreen products, but I did like the finish. It's pretty, I'm not mad at it. This is not a product that I particularly use in my routine. I'm usually either no makeup whatsoever [...] or a full face of makeup, so I usually don't wear these light foundation products. [...] Had I been one of those people, I think this one is really nice."

"For reapplication, you could use a mineral powder sunscreen. One of the best ones is the Supergoop Resetting Mineral Powder. It does come at a pretty price, but the reason why I believe that is so pricey and others have not been able to compare is because of the packaging. I've tried less expensive versions and the packaging is trash. When you are putting a mineral powder on your face, the packaging has got to be on point, otherwise you can wind up putting too much and you have a spot where there's like mad powder here and then barely any there."

"I remember loving this when it first came out but that was got to be like four, five years ago, I don't know if they've changed the formula since then. [...] The texture feels greasy to me, and some people didn't love the texture of this. [...] There's some slight pilling that's going on here, and that can happen because sometimes the textures of your skincare products don't always play nicely together. [...] But after less than an hour, [...] the Black Girl Sunscreen Make It Matte doesn't feel greasy on my skin. [...] There is a whole bunch of grease on my hands, but it feels really good. My skin feels really good. The texture of this is very slippery, it almost feels like an oil that has silicone in it, like very slippery, but to me I'm feeling good."

"For $44 you're going to get 0.68 oz of Glow Screen SPF 40. That's the one that has the shimmer in it, which might be a lot for the face, but it's also something that'll look good. You can put it on your décolletage, on your arms, or on your face if you want to, but remember you've got to put on enough sunscreen, which is 2 milligrams per centimeter squared of skin, which is about a quarter to a half teaspoon for your face, neck, and ears."

"The CeraVe Hydrating Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50 is nice and hydrating and it's non-greasy, it sprays nicely on the skin. However, the white cast on this is wild. I don't even think CeraVe had white people in mind when they made this sunscreen. The problem with this mineral sunscreen is that because the white cast is so horrific, sometimes people don't put on as much as they should, and that defeats the purpose since sunscreen is not a little bit goes a long way type of product. Even after you've applied it in thin layers and massaged it in, you still might want to wait a couple minutes just to let the white cast calm down."

"I love a good body sunscreen oil in the summertime because I love that glistening look. [...] However, this one I felt like it wasn't as shiny as I would want a body sunscreen oil to be. It still looked pretty on the skin, but if this was a different scent this would be a different review. If it was that 71 or that 40 I would take the less subtle gradients and the less subtle shininess of the oil and trade that off for the scent that I like. If you're a fan of this scent then you probably would like this."

"I paid $21 for this and you're going to get 50 ml which is about 1.7 oz. When I hear serum I think something quite runny, but this is very oily. When you put it on the skin it's very shiny and radiant at first, and it's going to stay like that for a couple minutes but it does dry down to where it's more of like a satin type of finish. So it's not completely oily oily but keep that in mind because sometimes skincare products don't play well together depending on what the base is. You might put this on with one of your favorite moisturizers and notice that the moisturizer starts to pill up on your skin. Usually to avoid that you want to either get a couple minutes in between your products so one dries down before you put the other one on, or try to use products that all have similar bases. Me personally I didn't need a moisturizer underneath this sunscreen because I felt that it was moisturizing enough for the climate I'm in."

"You're still going to get a white cast, but it's sheer. The cast with this is not as vibrant as a cast with some other mineral sunscreens, but you're still going to see it. The thing with this one is it feels really balmy and it looks balmy on the skin. [...] It does have that feel to it where you can feel that there's something on your skin. [...] When I had this on, I was very aware and could feel that something was on my face to the point where I was wondering if I fell asleep on the couch and the cat came by, would his fur get stuck to my face because this thing is so balmy."

"It does have a very strong spa smell that can be like boom when you put it on, however after a while it does start to dissipate. My skin looked shiny, shiny, but then after some time it started to calm down and wasn't as shiny. However, with me having oily skin, this is probably not something that I would want to wear. When it gets very hot out, I would probably delegate this to be a winter sunscreen. I could wear it on its own during the summer, but I wouldn't wear makeup on top of it because I feel like it would have me doing the most trying to touch up my makeup throughout the day."

"This is not a mineral sunscreen, but it has a very watery texture, so you have to be careful. You have to cup it instead of applying it normally, because it's going to be watery. It leaves the skin with a radiant finish and feels a little balmy. I like things that dry down to a dry finish, and I'm not really feeling this one. I wore this on a day when it was pretty warm out, in the mid to high 70s, and it was fine when I didn't have makeup on. But if it gets hotter than that, like over 80 degrees, this is probably not the sunscreen I would want to wear. And I would definitely not wear it on a makeup day during the summer. So I'd say this is more of a fall, maybe winter, and probably spring sunscreen."

"The It Cosmetics Do It All Balm has become a must have on her list. She freaking loves this product. A lot of balm foundations make tinted products look worse, but this shocked her. You can put a little bit on for a sheer tint, and it's buildable without ever looking cakey. She's used it in full beat looks. It has about 92% skin care ingredients. What she loves is that she can put this on and her skin still looks like skin all through the day, even at the end of the night, instead of drying her out like a crypt keeper the way her old products started to."

"I think I remember trying this Summer Fridays moisturizer before and liking it. One thing about gel creams that can be a little frustrating for me sometimes is that I cannot use these in the colder weather. My skin will be dry, especially with how dry and cold it gets here in New York in the winter, so this is definitely a warmer weather kind of thing. What can happen with some of these gel cream moisturizers, depending on your environment, if you're in a very dry environment and there's no moisture to pull because a lot of these will usually have either glycerin or hyaluronic acid in it, and there's no real moisture in the air for it to pull from, it's going to start pulling that from your skin and you're going to feel dry. [...] I love how these gel creams feel refreshing and cool and very lightweight."

"With a moisturizer, [...] it's what your skin is doing for the season and your skin type. [...] I had to use a much heavier moisturizer in the past winter when my skin was acting dry, but this feels nice. With moisturizers, I feel like yes, you need something that functions well, but also it's nice to have a moisturizer that feels good on the skin. This has piqued my interest so far. I [...] just need some more time with this so that I can try it over a couple of days."

"This feels very hydrating. Petrolatum is not going to break you out if you have acne either, unless you put something on that's going to break you out and then you put petrolatum on top, because when you put petrolatum on top things are under occlusion. When things are under occlusion sometimes they get a little bit more intense and that could break you out, but the petrolatum itself won't break you out unless for some strange reason you're allergic to petrolatum."

"This feels very slippery, it's balmy. I feel like it's sitting on top of my skin. [...] I hate the smell. It smells unscented, you know, in something because when something's unscented, it's it can still have fragrance in it. It's just that they're putting a masking fragrant in there to neutralize the smell. This doesn't say that it's unscented, but it smells like an unscented product to me. I don't know. To me, like I like a thicker lotion. The smell would bother me for that one."

"You've got to get you a spray moisturizer. Aquaphor has one that comes in a spray, and [...] they have lotion sprays too that you can spray on your back. I think the Aquaphor is better, especially in the wintertime, because I always get this really dry patch in the middle of my back, almost like an eczema patch, if I don't take care of it. That Aquaphor spray is great because it has the petroleum jelly in it to help prevent water loss."

"Olay has a retinol body wash that you might be thinking like a retinol body wash makes no sense because you know all the actives are just going to be rinsed down the drain that's actually not true and certain formulations for retinol body washes and facial washes there is something that they can formulate that kind of you do reap the benefits of the active ingredient now it's not the same way that you would reap it if it was a serum or a lotion but you reap it at any rate."

"Something that's super thick, I'm talking about stuff like your Aveeno Eczema Therapy Balm. These are things that you can put on damp skin or after your skin is damp you put your moisturizer on, you can put this on top of that as well. So it's almost like a whole moisture hydration sandwich. You got the hydration from the damp skin and you lock it in with the moisturizer and the occlusive. And this is particularly important for skin of color because skin of color exponentially suffers from transepidermal water loss, which means the hydration that our skin desperately needs could just evaporate out of the skin. That's the scientific term for ashy. Just know that when you're using something occlusive like an Aveeno Eczema Therapy Balm, that mess is greasy, so you know plan accordingly. Sometimes that might work better at night, or if you're going to do it during the day, make sure you layer accordingly so that you ain't all greased up."

"I really like these new Danessa Myricks Color Fix Sticks. This is a dual-sided multicolor use stick that you can just kind of put on your eyes. One side is more of like a cream, whereas the other side is more of like a metallic or shimmery color. So if you're just doing an everyday look, you do the everyday look kind of side. But if you want to add some drama, you do the other side. And if you are someone who likes to do the most with your eye makeup, these are also really cool because then you can give yourself a little extra shimmer."

"I finished out some Mighty Patch from Hero [...] Cosmetics. [...] Pimple patches are amazing because they do so many things. For one, it helps to give the pimple an environment where it can heal without things that would make it worse like UV, bacteria, your dirty stinking hands. So it protects the pimple from that. It also low-key protects you from popping the pimple because it's covering it, so you're probably less susceptible to squeezing it. [...] I like a lot from Hero."

"I find that it's going to take too much. So much of the product for it to show up on my skin. And this is an itty bitty little bottle here. You can mix it with other things like you can mix it in with a moisturizer, a body butter, body oil, or something like that. I probably wouldn't mix it in with your sunscreen because you really shouldn't be mixing anything into your sunscreen because it could affect the performance of your sunscreen. If you want to wear sunscreen with it, you put these on first and then put your sunscreen on top of it."

"The cast on this is not bad at all, especially when you compare it to the CeraVe one, and it is slightly tinted which makes it a lot easier to blend into the skin. However, you might find that it's a little too matte for me, and you might find that during more parts of the year than others, like in the summer time you might be like, ah this is all right, but in the winter time you might be like, damn I look like a keeper. If you find that you're like, damn this is looking kind of matte, then you might want to apply a moisturizer first, you know, let it sit for a little bit to absorb. Sometimes mineral sunscreens can be notorious where they don't play well with other types of skincare products. Your skin is still a little bit damp before you put on a mineral sunscreen, sometimes it can make the white cast look even more apparent. Before you put on your mineral sunscreen allow for the previous layer to dry down some, so especially if you're having an issue with the white cast looking crazy."

"As a dermatologist I am on the Beauty Bar side, which is the use of synthetic detergents that you can use to cleanse. Many people don't know that there's a huge difference between synthetic beauty bars, like your Dove Beauty bars, and soap. If you see a Beauty Bar it never has the word soap on it. That's because soap by definition is when you use vegetable oils and combine with a base solution like lye, and then in a process called saponification it forms the soap. Synthetic or beauty bars don't meet that definition of soap, but they're much gentler on skin. They cleanse as well and they do not disrupt skin's natural pH, but your soaps tend to disrupt your skin pH. They turn to be more moisture stripping."

"I tried the viral Peter Thomas Roth Instant Firm X eye tightener way back when, and it worked. It helped to smooth and snatch my under eye area. I have these fine lines sometimes, and sometimes they look a little deeper than fine, kind of like medium fine or whatever, and it helped tremendously. However, there was a learning curve in getting to use it because use too much and your under eye area could be snatched, but then it be ashy at the same time. But the brand just came out with a new and improved version that promises no white cast. It's a little bit tinted and it's a lot easier to work with. These work like shrink wrap film. They're fast drying film formers. As water evaporates, the film contracts like a micro shrink wrap, gently pulling the skin flatter so that the fine lines and puffiness look smoother. Sometimes products like this use something colloquially called liquid glass which helps the film set rigidly as it dries. But you're getting cosmetic physics here, not collagen boosting."

"I waited three weeks, maybe four weeks, maybe going on five weeks, and to be honest with you, as much as I've seen other people's videos raving about this, I really see a difference now. The thing is you do need multiple treatments, typically it's three, depending on your skin or what you might need, maybe you need a little bit more than that, maybe you do need to have it done in conjunction with something else. A lot of these treatments you have to do in multiple sessions over time and it's not a one-and-done thing."

"Agency has a custom prescription dark spot formula and it can contain ingredients such as hydroquinone, which is a gold standard for helping to fade dark spots. However, hydroquinone is something that works really well, almost it works so well that you got to be under advisement of a licensed dermatology provider because if you overuse it that ain't good. So this is why it's amazing to have this type of guidance with Agency. Your licensed dermatology provider is going to be with you every step of the way. Any questions that you have you can message them, they'll get back to you. They check in on your skin to determine how you're doing, if you have any questions, if they need to maybe increase or maybe even decrease the percentage of the active ingredients, maybe they might need to switch things around, especially when it comes to the hydroquinone, which you should only be using short-term. I can attest to this because I used a custom prescription cream years ago to fade some of the discoloration underneath my eyes and it used very similar ingredients to what Agency uses as well."

"Agency also offers a customized dark spot formula. Remember we talked about level one, well what I call level one and level two dark spots. Level one is the dark spots that are fresh, like you've had them less than four months, those are easier to treat with things that you can buy at the drugstore, department store, specialty stores. Older dark spots however, those need a little bit of extra care. That's what I call level two. These are dark spots that you've had for a while, I'm talking like five months, six months, couple years. With those you're probably not going to get the results that you're looking for with something that you can buy over the counter. Typically you're going to need a little bit more, and that little bit more is only available by prescription. But just as I mentioned with Agency, you can do all of that without ever having to leave your house."

"Another Glow Recipe cleanser that I like is the Avocado cleanser. That one is more of a cream cleanser, and it's typically something I couldn't use until it's dead winter, but if you have dry skin, that's also one to look at. It has such a nice creamy texture and it's gentle. I wouldn't use it to double cleanse because the texture doesn't feel right. It depends on how much makeup you're wearing. If you're wearing just light makeup, maybe you could double cleanse with it, but the kind of makeup I wear, I wouldn't."

"You can also use it without water, so basically you would apply a liberal amount of cleanser to the face and gently massage into the skin, remove the excess with a soft cloth leaving a thin transparent film on the skin, so if your skin is like really going through it you can also do that as well. The ingredients are not the same but I have to say if not going by the fact that maybe you might be allergic to an ingredient in one over the other, I would go for the dupe. It feels exactly the same to me."

"I love these Olay cleansing melts. It's a solid balm, you wet it, it dissolves, and you cleanse with it. You should be using a gentle cleanser no matter your age but especially after 40 because your skin shouldn't feel squeaky clean after cleansing, that can do more harm than good since skin already produces less oil as we age and it can get dehydrated. I like the hyaluronic acid ones and the retinol ones, and I like the vitamin C ones too, but I could really only use those when it was warm out."

"Patrick Starrr knows how to make a setting spray, and the fact that he comes up with these ideas, I'm like, go ahead, Patrick Starrr. This is the One/Size Powder Melt Glass Setting Spray. I believe this is my second bottle. I've used at least one bottle up already, like hit pan, thing done, party done. I love this. [...] If you're an old makeup head, [...] you know how we would use MAC Fix Plus, it wouldn't necessarily set your makeup, but it would take that powdery look down so that your makeup kind of looked more like makeup and not like powder. This is that, except it does that and it sets your makeup. MAC has since come out with a whole bunch of setting spray Fix Plus variations that maybe do the same thing as this, I haven't tried those yet. For now I love this because, like I was saying, oily but becoming less so, and I need a setting spray that's going to make my makeup look like that nice satin matte finish that I like. However, on a very hot day, when I know I'm going to be outside for a long period of time and I want my makeup to last, I'm probably not going to do this. But any other situation where I'm wearing makeup, this is what I'm using."

"The Danessa Myricks Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder Blush was definitely on her top list. She freaking loves these things. They come in a range of shades so whether you're very fair or very deep you'll find one that works, and she's found four or five she loves: Prima Donna, Golden Hour, Creme Brulee, and Jubilee. They're highly pigmented so it's easy to get carried away, so she does a light tap and builds up the intensity, and if she overdoes it she can tone it down with powder. What she loves is that they're cream, but they last."

"The One Size Oil Sucker Liquid Blotting Paper Spray works like blotting papers without the paper, you spray it on and it mattifies your face. She's not sure it counts as a setting spray, she picked it up in Sephora without hearing any marketing on it, so she's not fully vouching for it yet. She needs only the smallest amount or she looks casket sharp. For her, it's specifically for summertime or tropical vacations, because if it's cold outside and she puts this on she looks like a crypt keeper. She thinks if you're younger or your skin hasn't turned on you like hers has, you'll probably love it."

"I sprayed some MAC Fix+ and it definitely helped to waken up my skin. MAC Fix+ is an oldie but a goodie. It's going to add hydration to the skin. It's not a setting spray in that it's going to set your makeup, but it will help to kind of melt things into place. So if you goof and you put a little too much powder, or if you feel like your skin's looking a little dry, your makeup's looking a little dry, you can add some Fix+ to it and it should help to waken it up. Back in the day I used to also use this right after I would blot down my makeup. I would do this to kind of give it like a really nice fresh look."

"The one size Ultimate Blurring Setting Powder is amazing at setting makeup it gives it a beautiful finish that doesn't look cakey or sharp, it's like a natural messy finish. I have this in the dark deep and I would probably suggest, you know, where everybody's makeup use is a little bit different, but I would be willing to bet that most people you can go ahead and get the mini size. I have a feeling like this container of powder might outlast me. Even though I have oily skin I do appreciate a luminous or a slightly dewy look."

"Going to get the Good Molecules Discoloration Correcting Serum and that's 1 oz so you're going to get something that's going to help exfoliate the skin and then something that's going to help with dark spots and discoloration. Remember what I said before, a lot of these over the counter treatments they're for fresher dark spots, [...] but people love Good Molecules. [...] I think there's a post on the Community page where people chimed in on their thoughts on the Good Molecules products. [...] People seem to love it and $26 set sounds good to me."

"One of the reasons why body discoloration products can be a little challenging is you have to be so patient and you have to be consistent, because the percentage of the active that you would need to really make a difference in your skin I have not seen sold over the counter. There's a huge difference between using products on the small area of your face and using those type of actives all over your body. Keep in mind it's going to take some time and some consistency, and discoloration treatments like this are geared more towards the superficial, level one kind of discoloration."

"These It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealers, oh my god, I love them. So I got shade deep warm is my normal under eye shade, and then to highlight, I have rich warm. These are so good. They cover well. They have a nice radiant finish because if you're covering under eye after 40, you probably don't want something mattifying because that will tell all your business. It will be all in the settled lines. And who needs something clocking you like that, right?"

"I also love this Fenty concealer. There are two different Fenty concealers and I actually like them both. I would say that this one is more for like brightening. So with this one, instead of getting my regular shade 445, I believe this is 470W. So because this is made for more like brightening, when they sent this to me when it first came out, I asked for a deeper shade because the shade that would have been for my complexion would have been like a brightening and I wanted it to match my complexion. And so I got the 470."

"She recently came out with some new colors. One of which I bought is this one called creme brulee and I live for this color because MAC has a blush called Raisin which is like this terracotta brown orangey kind of blush that's so pretty but it's a powder and I always wanted like a cream version of that. I promise it shows up more on my skin on my cheeks than what it does on the back of my hand. I love love love them. They last all day."

"I really love these products and what I like about this blush is that you can build this up so when you first put it on it's very subtle. I could see where they get the Rosy Glow name from. This doesn't have that flat finish that typical matte powder blushes will have. The glow you're gonna get with this is more of a radiant as opposed to a lot of shimmer. If you do want to intensify the color you just add a couple more layers and you're good to go."

"I got to give it to Glow Recipe on this one. Even with the funky ass watermelon scent, the glow I cannot deny. How supple and juicy my skin feels. I would use this product if they ever came up with something unscented. I'm not quite sure if a product can be unscented with the watermelon fruit extract in it. I don't know if they could ever come up with something that didn't have the scent, or if that's even possible given what's used in the products. But should they come up with something unscented, I would probably try it because this feels great."

"Hada Labo products aren't that expensive. This one is $9.11 at Jolse, depending on the size you get. It's a little bit more on Amazon, but it could be a different size. It can act like an essence for people who have dryer skin, but if you have oilier skin or if you're just somebody who's looking for a lighter weight moisturizer, you could also use it as a moisturizer. I think that's a really cool thing about skincare, that the same product can have so many different functions."

"I like this toner. Now yes, there are cheaper hydrating toners that you can buy, there's so many especially if you're into Korean skincare, Japanese skincare, you can find so many hydrating toners and essences that are way cheaper than what you would get from Fresh. But if you're into the brand and into this type of presentation, the bottle is just so pretty and it looks like there's [...] actual rose petals [...] that they put inside it, which just makes it really pretty. [...] You can kind of do a hydration layering routine with the toner, serum, and moisturizer together, so after you cleanse your skin and it's a little bit damp, you start with the toner, then you put on the serum, and then you seal it all in with the moisturizer."

"My Future Formula from Agency is still something that works well for me. This is custom prescription skincare, mine has 0.14% tretinoin, 5% azelaic acid, 5% tranexamic acid, and 4% niacinamide. Tretinoin is an ingredient that's long been studied and is very effective in an anti-aging routine, it helps with rough texture, fine lines, wrinkles, and evening the skin tone, and you only need the tiniest amount. Azelaic acid can help calm the skin, which can aid with hyperpigmentation and rosacea. Tranexamic acid also helps with discoloration, and niacinamide is an antioxidant that helps strengthen the skin's barrier and can help with both dry and oily skin."

And that's the beauty of Agency because as you progress and your skin changes, your skin's not going to stay stagnant. "Agency recently launched a custom prescription eye formula. The eye formula is customized for your specific needs and can contain ingredients like the gold standard anti-aging tretinoin, green tea extract, glycerin, dexpanthenol, or caffeine, but of course which percentages and which of those ingredients will be in it is customized for you. My custom eye formula has 10% glycerin, 1% dexpanthenol, 2% green tea extract, and 1% caffeine. Mine doesn't have tretinoin in it because I also use their future formula which has tretinoin in it already. That's the level of attention and detail we need."

"The top notes are ginger, spicy and fresh, with a zingy lemon quality. It opens the fragrance with lively brightness. Heart note is roasted hazelnut, an unexpected crunchy note that intrigues with its green woody character. Base note is tonka bean, with warm accents of vanilla and almond and a hint of tobacco, adding tangible richness to the fragrance. I freaking love this. It's not a scent I'd normally wear to the gym, but [...] I love it. It also came with this cute little bow, like [...] a little bow tie. This year's Ginger Biscuit comes in a different package, which also looks kind of cute. I think they change the packaging each year to get everyone who loves Ginger Biscuit to buy it again, but [...] I still have so much of this perfume left and I highly doubt I'll ever finish the bottle, because although it's a really nice scent, I feel like it's very much a [...] fall winter kind of scent to me, even though I might wear fragrances whenever I want. This one strongly feels like it needs to be in the fall and winter."

"Ariana Grande Cloud EDP has notes of lavender, juicy pear, bergamot, creme to coconut, praline, vanilla, orchard, and a musky woody base. It does have that creamy musky base that's going to help to linger on a little bit longer. This is one of those few rare florally scents where it's like not gagging me, because I told you me and florals don't always get along. This [...] is perfect for an outdoor spring brunch moment with the girls, or if you're going out in a little sundress or if you have a daytime date. It's a nice flirty daytime scent."

"The finish is quite radiant. If you wanted to tone that down, I would set this with either a translucent powder or if you have a face powder, a colored face powder, you can do that, too, to tone down some of the shine. I like that it doesn't look ashy, though. When it comes out of the bottle, it comes out so quickly. I would probably use a makeup sponge or a brush to apply this, but you got to make sure you put on enough. Now, enough is approximately a quarter to half a teaspoon for your face, neck, and ears. The shades do look good."

"What would keep me to continue to buy the Tree Hut body scrubs is that the Tree Hut body scrubs come in more scents. So there's more chance for me to buy the Tree Hut ones. Like for instance, every Christmas they come out with the same peppermint candy cane kind of thing, but they call it something different every year. But I love it. I think this year it's called like merry mint or something like that. And I love the way that smells. So I'm always going to get that. But then typically I just get like the vanilla Tree Hut scrub."

"When your skin feels really dry or dehydrated, you can apply this while your skin is still damp, either on top of your moisturizer or on its own, and when you wake up in the morning your skin looks a little bit more bouncy and radiant. [...] You might need to do it a couple of times depending on how dry and dehydrated it looks. This kit really focuses on hydrating and moisturizing the skin, which is especially good [...] heading into the colder months if you're somewhere that's pretty cold and dry. When you're [...] properly hydrating and moisturizing your skin, it helps keep the skin's barrier intact, and the skin's barrier is very important because when it's impaired, your skin is susceptible to a whole bunch of stuff including hyperpigmentation."

"I keep Vaseline petroleum jelly on me after 40. People think Vaseline is going to break you out, but the only way it could is if you're allergic to petrolatum, and most people aren't, it's not comedogenic in the way people think because the molecule is too big to penetrate the pore. I like it because the skin barrier can get impaired back and forth after 40, and it really helps repair the skin barrier. When my skin feels particularly sensitive I'll put it on top of everything, or some nights I'll just wash my face, let it air dry a bit, and put it on. By the time I wake up in the morning my skin feels so much better."
