  • Micro darts deliver actives deep into the pimple
  • Reduces inflammation and redness within hours
  • Two-step treatment plus patch, not patch alone

What they flagged

  • Pricier than standard hydrocolloid patches

What the gurus are saying

Micro darts that dissolve salicylic acid, tea tree, niacinamide, and peptides into skin reduce inflammation and redness in four to six hours, most effective on deep cystic blemishes. They also help stop picking. They cost more than hydrocolloid patches; some gurus find the speed and targeted delivery worth it, while others note that affordable alternatives work fine.

"A pimple patch does not get rid of pimples completely. I would say it takes down the size, it reduces the color, and it actually has acne treatment, and the reason why is because it's two steps. All of these others are just like a pimple patch that you put on your face. These pimple patches are literally a treatment plus a patch. It comes with a little swipey thing you actually have to swipe the area clean and then apply the pimple patch with the micro needling dots. [...] It is not the cheapest pimple patch on the market, but this is my absolute favorite and it works so well for my blemishes. This has ingredients like salicylic acid that exfoliates the skin, uses the oil in your skin to access the pimple and kill bacteria, but this also has niacinamide to actually help with the little dark spots and pigmentation and oil control. This has peptides that actually speed up wound healing. None of these other patches have peptides that speed up wound healing. This also has hyaluronic acid, which is used in wound healing. I found that when I use hyaluronic acid my skin does heal faster. Hyaluronic acid is also a humectant, so it brings moisture into the skin instead of drying them out. These little micro darts are basically a delivery system. They pop into the skin, it doesn't hurt, but you can definitely feel it, and it goes into the skin and it dissolves and it gets rid of my pimples. [...] If you get the big deep zits, this is going to be your best bet. They're expensive, but they're more worth it. They have all of the beneficial ingredients that all of these other patches try to do."

"I love so many of their products, their sunscreens, their KILLA patches. The 25% off actually makes it very palatable. While everything is 25% off, I am stocking up."

"I use these Zitsticka Killa patches when I've got big pimples. They are micro darts with targeted actives like salicylic acid, niacinamide, tea tree, and peptides that go into the pimple and dissolve to help get that pimple down. These are probably the fastest working ones that I've ever found. While there is nothing that cures a pimple overnight, this takes down the inflammation and the redness in four to six hours. These also stop me from picking at my skin, and they are probably my favorite pimple patches that I've used, even though I do love Peace Out Acne Dots and the Weekend Beauty ones."

"I actually know quite a few people who like all of these, the microneedling patches, the hydrocolloids, and the sunscreen. I personally am a little too cheap to buy ZitSticka knowing there are good hydrocolloid patches on the market for a couple dollars for thirty six of them, but I do get it. I actually bought the ZitSticka's in the 21 days of beauty, and yeah, they're good. I think they might have more needles in them compared to some of the other more affordable dissolvable needle patches, but for me a good skincare routine with the much more affordable patches works fine."
