What the gurus are saying

This lightweight, non-goopy conductive gel provides high conductivity with microcurrent and nano devices while leaving skin nicely hydrated. The compact bottle makes it convenient for travel, and it prioritizes pure function over any additional skincare benefits. One catch to consider: it contains less product than alternative ZIIP gels, so weigh that factor against price when comparing value for money.

"I finished a bottle of the ZIIP Electric Complex, which is the most affordable but contains less product, so if you're comparing value for money, keep that in mind."

"The only exception I have found in terms of conductive gel is the one for ZIIP, the ZIIP Electric Complex. [...] This one I actually like to pat into my skin, and it [...] does make for a nice conductive gel. [...] There is going to be an instant lift, but it's also cumulative, like most things. You wouldn't go to the gym once and say I'm going to build some muscle. [...] You have to be consistent with it."

"This one is much better. When I first started trying this on myself I actually really liked it, I really like it on myself, but I have oily acne prone skin that recently has been more combination and had some dry patches, and when I've used this my skin was kind of freaking out and this helped. It's the Electric Complex Conductive Gel. Here's the thing, for a lot of other people it doesn't really hit the mark. I think it's fine for those with acne, it's not nearly as goopy or disgusting as the other ones and the ingredients are better. [...] It's way less goopy, it actually absorbs into the skin and it actually conducts electricity really well, so if you have acne prone skin this is great, but if you don't have acne prone skin I didn't find it to be revolutionary. And that's why when I look at these things that I look for in a gel as an esthetician, it just doesn't come out on top, because if it's not versatile enough that I can use with multiple devices, with multiple modalities, and on multiple people, it's not something I want to hold on to. And that's the other thing, it doesn't stick around for very long. [...] It's nice, it's hydrating, but it absorbs into skin. When you're doing microcurrent you need something that sticks around, that stays on the skin so that you have time to use the device and then you could either wipe it off or if you pat it in it should soak into the skin. This, it's okay, but it's just not the best, unlike some of the other ones."

"I've been using this gel, which is the ZIIP Electric Complex Conductive Gel. This is a really lightweight, highly conductive gel for microcurrent and for nano. It doesn't have any other additional benefits. I feel like it's pretty hydrating for the skin, too, and it doesn't feel very heavy. If you do want to get other benefits though, they do have other gels that you can use. I just really like traveling with this one, it's really straightforward, and you guys know I have so many other ingredients that I have in my skincare routine, so this one works perfectly for me."
