What the gurus are saying

Layering beautifully with clean application, this mascara earned genuine enthusiasm from those who loved the brown tone, especially on the lower lash line. However, not everyone felt it worked for them, some loved the buildable, clump-free formula, while others decided it simply didn't suit their lashes. Those who try it may want to let it dry before expecting full performance, and shouldn't expect much natural curl.

"I'm trialing the Westman Atelier mascara but it just doesn't look amazing on me. I only used it today because I could not find my Merit Clean Lash. I will probably be putting this in my fails and faves and I have a feeling it's going to be a fail."

"I do love a bit of nice mascara. This is nice chunky chunky container with a nice fluffy brush. I do like this. It doesn't apply too much. It's not too clumpy. Doesn't separate the lashes as quite as much as I would like. I wouldn't say this actually makes my lashes curl, but maybe a little spoolie action to hold them up a bit. Sometimes if you hold your spoolie up as it dries, you can get them to give a little curl and lift. So far so good. And sometimes you have to let mascara like sit or set out and dry down a little bit before it can really perform the way you expect it."

"This has like a pretty beefy bristle brush but it's applying nicely. I love this packaging, feels so lux. This is layering up really beautifully. I love a good brown mascara, even if you don't want to wear brown mascara on the top lashes, it's a great option for lower lashes if you want like a little bit of a softer effect on the lower lash line."
