  • Ingredient blend supports skin repair and redness

What they flagged

  • More prickly sensation than lower-strength versions

What the gurus are saying

Skin cell turnover and pore refinement stand out as the main draws here. Gurus found it particularly effective for reducing redness in problem areas like the nose and for tightening skin texture. Those with easily inflamed skin may want to start cautiously, as the intensity means sensitivity is worth monitoring.

"This one definitely needs to be worked up to, don't be like me, it feels a lot pricker and thicker. I don't know if I'm going to go above the 700, I think this is probably where I'm going to stop, because I do want to see maybe after a year how my skin feels using it. The texture between the 100 and the 700 is significantly different, the 700 has a lot more serum in it, it has shea butter higher up on the ingredient list, and it has a higher dosage of film formers."

"This one really focuses on that skin cell turnover, really targets pores and elasticity of the skin. I've heard it's a little bit more prickly. [...] If you're [...] finding that rubbing it in feels a little bit too prickly, start patting on your skin instead, nice and firm, and those needles are still going to penetrate the skin, it just feels a little less prickly. A good idea is to use a sheet mask alongside this product when you first start using it."

"The 700 is the most powerful one. I use it on my nose because my nose gets super red. The Reedle Shot 700 has 570,000 seeker needles and is great to use at night once a week. [...] The ingredient lists are amazing, particularly if you struggle with redness, sensitivity, irritation, breakouts, or aggravated skin. [...] There's niacinamide, centella asiatica which is good for reducing redness, but there's also hyaluronic acid and adenosine."
